Renatus looked down, wishing that he wasn't covered in blood so that he could be closer to Lucinda. "Let's get going." he said to Alara who nodded in response. Renatus began after Lucinda.

Ciara looked around throughout the desert, searching for the bandits. "Aleski, look!" she said as she thought she saw a small encampment.

Aleksi strained to look through the blowing sand. The brown lump of huts could be seen between two large dunes. "I think that might just be it." he said over the wind. He pulled down his mask to cover his eyes a little.

"Well we could just fight our way through, but that would be pretty risky considering how strong that mage was, who knows if there are more of them? I don't have any ideas at the moment. You?" he said over the wind, turning to look at Ciara.

Ciara thought for a moment. "We get captured," she said. "We get in, no questions asked, and that man won't disappear again before we can get to him."

Aleksi ran the plan through his head, thinking of multiple outcomes. "A few questions arise. One: Do they take prisoners? Two: how do we get to him? [[Three: where have I seen this before? see pg 41]]" He walked closer, so that he didn't have to talk as loud.

Aleksi thought for a few moments. He looked up when he had an idea. "Ciara, can you link our minds so that even if I am trapped in weapon form, I could speak to you?" he asked excitedly.

Aleksi nodded contently. "You can bribe them to not take you by offering me, and then you can sneak into the camp later after I have learned some secrets or weaknesses." he said hitting one hand as a fist into the other in a eureka fashion.

Aleksi nodded and slipped his hand into hers. He transformed the usual way, leaving his handle in Ciara's hand. "Lets do this." his nude figure could be seen saying in the reflection on the blade. "I'm finally going to find my family!"
