"It can't be as bad as the awful stuff from before, even though if I could have stopped coughing long enough i was about to drink it." Toole drank the whole thing and set the empty vial down. "Something I could never manage to do, make my potions taste good, and I tried hard enough."

Toole sighed; "I'm sorry for not telling you Ailes, you were already worried enough as it was with me being wanted by soliders from arynia, and I thought there would be plenty of time after tonights battle to tell you and get the potion made. I guess my masking spells to hide the symptoms aggravated and made the disease spread faster." Toole looked at the book; "Ailes you remember this picture?" Toole showed her the picture of her sitting at the cafeteria table. Akuma was getting ready to launch across the table to beat up the three.

Toole laughed; "I have that kind of luck Kaos, but thankfully a very forgiving person to take care fo me." Toole smiled and gave Ailes a little kiss on the cheek; "Thanks."

Quannah came through the building and snuck up behind her brother holding her finger on her lips so Kaos or Ailes would give her away.

She took a feather and began tickling the back of his hair. Toole reached up and rubbed the spot but continued to look at Ailes with a smile. So Quannah did it again, and the same reaction.

Toole finally asked Ailes; "Does this potion make the back of your head itch?"

Toole looked at Ailes and heard kaos speak, and when he turned his head to ask the question of who. Quannah smiled at him; "All I'm going to say is make sure Mary and your three youngest siblings go home, and that you need to tell Ailes about me more often. The old you was allot more fun to be around, and she would enjoy it." "How did you?" Quannah shook her head; "I was not responsible for the warning Ailes recieved, I have neithere the ability or the necessary power to push a message out of the Abyss without the aide of its masters." Toole stood up; "Is there a chance you can come back?" Quannah shrugged as she came out from behind the chair. "The possiblity is there, but that is not what you need to tell me Toole. I need to go so dig deep boy, because this may be the last time for awhile you get the chance."

Toole was queit for a good 2 seconds; "I'm sorry i didn't back you when you went down the hill, It should have been me, i was the healer, but instead I was a coward and stayed huddled behind that hill." Quannah chuckled; "Everyone makes mistakes, and the one i made cost me my life. I made the choice, and its not your burden to bear."

Quannah come over and gave Toole a hug; "Now you take good care of Ailes, and no more of this stupid business of hiding illnesses." Quannah moved over and picked ailes right up out of ther chair into a good hug, and set her down back on her feet. "Take care of my silly brother."

Quannah walked around front; "Alright my white haired guardian, lets get home before the master, and hopefully we have time to make it to your island. A little more convincing then hanging around the manor."

Quannah chuckled; "Well then, I guess I'll leave the destination up to my guardian then, but hopefully its a pleasant place with a little cottage house. A nice side garden, and plenty of guests coming and going. I hope I get a change to say goodbye to Lena." Quannah placed her hand in Kaos's, and relaxing despite the nervousness she held at the fact they stood to be in very hot water if caught.

Toole sat back down; "Well Ailes, the moon will be rising soon, and everyone is getting ready. I think we should be getting ready ourselves, unless of course you think I should stay here for a bit longer and join the fight a bit later."

Toole walked around front, and remembered what Quannah had said about Mary and his three younger siblings. "Mary, Lennox, Motasa, and Akira, its time for you to head home, i'm right as rain now, and this isn't the place for the four of you."

They seemed disheartened, but Toole was firm in keeping after them until they all were flying back to Arias

Toole checked his swords, and prepared himself the best he could for each medium he could end up fighting in. He had secured a length of rope from one of the lighting demons, and with the help of two sisters they made a quick little quick release system of snaps and a belt that would hold Ailes in place between his horns.

Carnath was nice enough to put Toole's enchantments back in place. Now all they were waiting on was Ailes, and Yumiru to give them the word.

The shots went fast on the stamina side, however everyone held onto the shot of alcohol. Ailes was relieved of her tray by a passing male and sure enough Yumiru came out. "The runners are back, they are advancing from their camps, we have a few minutes before they cross the channels onto this section. A few of you will take off to stop the boats from crossing, others will join us a the front lines."

Roothemay held up her shot glad; "Too peace and victory, and the honored dead who keep it." They drank their shots quickly, and Toole tossed the glass over his shoulder and wrapped his arms around Ailes waist. He kissed her passionately, tilting her backwards, and Toole siblings cheered a bit before breaking up to go with a group of Lighting demons to the ground posts. Those who were flying waited on Toole and Ailes.

Toole smiled; "You'll be no hinderance to me." As Toole moved his hand back from behind around Ailes, a wide belt of black leather which had two large rings on the sides. Toole buckled it in front. "This will be a lot simpler then you tying yourself to my head."

Toole stepped back a good distance and removed his amulet. The snaps for the rings were laying on top of his head, the other ends preattached to base rings around his horns. Toole settled onto his stomach and brought his head down to lay beside Ailes, he titled it slightly so it would be easier for her to climb on.

"That is why I asked for an Airborne assignment, it is the least dangerous to the both of us." Toole looked at Carnath; "You're lead on this group, so pick where you want us to be, and move us accordingly." The first crashes of thunder began, they were deafeningly close, the flashes lit up the trees errie displays of angry looking branches.

Toole launched himself into the air, he circled until his siblings got up in place, and they could see the flashes. Up in the air the thunder from the lighting attacks wasn't so bad. They came in low over the trees on the far side of the fighting and saw the boats going back n forth between the land masses on the channels.

Toole took a deep breath and set his wings. His sister attacked first, her string of fire lighting up the enemy side of the channel. It would be a temporary block for awhile. Carnath added to it's length, and Toole finished it off as it ended at a junction of three channels.

They made a slow turn turn rising back up again. 'See Ailes that wasn't so bad." Carnath shouted over; "Yeah well don't celebrate just yet, you see those dark clouds over there, those are thunderstorm clouds, a lighting demon feeding frenzy, but hell on us flying folk. You might want to take her back to the village now. Unless she's feeling up to being shook about and soaked to the bone."

Toole turned his eyes back; "Ailes we have about two minutes before we make our next run, Carnath's right, that thunderstorm is going to make this smooth ride into a very bumpy one, and the rain will be cold. If you want to go back now is the time to say something, and don't feel pressured at all. Tell me what you really want to do, and I'll take you there."
