"Have you heard of the alchemist Nicolas Flamel?" Caleb went over to to the left side of the room, were a nicely filled bookshelf was. He glided his fingers over the books until he found the one he was looking for. "Isaac Newton? Mary the Jewess? Osthanes?" He said as he pull out hefty book. He came back to the desk and let the plop onto the desk, which the desk rattled on impact.

A small skeleton key came to Caleb's right hand as he slid it into the small lock that held the book shut he turned the key and a soft click could be heard. "Their writings are very important if you want to pass this class."

((lol, 666 posts)) "I will let you take this out of the classroom, as long as nothing is taken from the book or added into the book. You may take notes but it must be returned in its original state." Caleb went back to his desk. "Now, I will allow you to do some in-class book work now. Use this time efficiently."

"You do realize that tome is over 2000 pages?" Caleb sighed silently right after, she was making him really kick in gear to teach.
