"Hey ashley i am going to ask if its ok to fight these creatures. If you let me you should go hide in the room i showed you today. It will be the safest place of all." he looked her straight in the eyes "If you don't want me to then just say no and i will come and protect you in the room"

Nodding her head Marie said, "Good." Marie looks ahead and slightly adjust her armor, making it tighter so it'd be easier to fight in. Her face still blank. Only thinking of her Father and the pain felt by her and everyone that has been touched by the 'Strange' creatures. Her fangs slightly grew out, just a bit more. She was worried but didn't show it. Her fangs still could not be seen by anyone else. though they were slightly uncomfortable for her. "Damn! Why am I cursed with this? No I need to calm down or they'll just keep growing out. Hopefully they will recoil soon." Marie looked up at the bright and full moon and wandered in her mind.

((Oh Vlad is keeping the soldiers behind the city walls))
Vlad places his hand on top of Marie's and hands her an amulet, "Here, you can use this to communicate with me over long distance. Let me know if anything strange, well stranger, happens. I must see to the king and princess."

Marie looks down and the look on her face changes to confusion. "Wait how do I use and how did you come across an amulette?" Marie wonders what or how he got one.

Ashley looked up at Harper.."Where's my father? Do you know if he is safe?"Ashely was quite worried at this moment, though the castle had never been attacked before, she figured that the King was going to be the main target.
Ashley looked at Harper and then back down, "I want him safe more than anything" she ran off down the halls looking for her father, or the king..

"You just squeeze it hard to turn it on or off." Vlad returns to the inner castle and finds princess, "Princess come with me. We have to get you to the keep."

She looked almost confused "Vlad..where is father? Is he safe?" She asked with concern in her voice.

"He should be there already. Let's go see." Vlad walks towards the keep.

Marie nods as Vlad returns to the castle. Marie tucks it away in a small space in her armor on her arm. Looking out a head she sees something black in the sky but its far away. "Could that be one of the 'Strange' creatures? Or just an animal?" She couldn't tell it was too far away. Suddenly Marie sees a light from the corner of her eye. Before she could look the castle wall was struck with a fireball. "Men get that fire out! That was a Phenix. Don't let it touch you or you'll be consumed with flames." Marie runs tward the castle's outer wall and tries to listen through to see how close they are. Hearing nothing they probly are not that close. Grabbing the amulette she squezzes it to alert Vlad that something has happened.

Vlad looks down at the matching amulet he wore, "Excuse me." He looks out the window and notices the excitment, he mutters some latin sounding phrases, a winds gusts over the area, freezing it like snow and putting the fire out. He yells out the window, his voice being magically carried, "Fire the catapults and ballistas." A hail of projectiles rain down at the enemy, some would be stopped by their magic, but not all.

Running to fire the weapons Marie says, "You heard him! Now get over here and help." Marie satrts to load the weapons. "Fire." Watching the weapons fall over the wall and disapear from sight didn't relieve much of the worry. Silence broke throught the air. Everyone was just waiting, for something to happen. Hearing sounds from the other side of the outer castle wall everyone pulls out their swords and weapons to attack what ever is coming over. A few large beasts jump over the wall and run twrds the men. Fighting with thier swords Marie notices creatures flying in the sky. She runs to a corner to get a better view and pulls her bow and arrown and starts to shoot them down.

"Archers fire." The rows of archers begin firing upon the flyers, ground troops, and anything else in range. Vlad turns to Harper, "Get the princess to the keep, at all costs. I have business outside." Vlad runs to get outside and assist the troops.
