jerking she spun around, training her gun on him. when she realized who it was she sighed and lowered the wepon, saying tieredly as she reached for the rose. " thank you.. but really, im not going to... Och!" with a yelp she jerked her hand away, holding it to her chest as her gun droped to the ground. the rose had shifted, mixeing with her skin and makeing it burn painfuly. after a few moments she looked at her right wrist and nearly cursed. a rose tattoo wraped around her wrist, the dark colors makeing it look like it was in full bloom. still holding her acheing hand, she looked at the man in shock. "what did you do.."

noticeing the vampires Darius laughed darkly, catching Aran and jerking her to his side. weilding his syth he put the blade against her soulder, saying in an amused voice. " im not giveing you up that easy luv, that mark is just a gift.. if i want, it will help you.." he smiled. " or hurt you." he let his energy into the tattoo, causeing her pain for a moment before letting up. adressing the vampires he raised an eyebrow. " am i saposed to stand and fight.. like all good men?"

Gregor laughed, how he had longed to fight again. He jumped on to the roof and drew both his blades.
"Like all good men? Sir, I believe I am the better man. Firstly I come from a better bloodline, and second, well I'm not the man hiding behind a women now am I."Gregor laughed again, this Darius didn't seem like a monster at all, more like a bed time story.

gritting her teeth she closed her eyes, calming herself and pushing the pain away. " you know, he has a point. even if i dont appriciate the -hiddeing beind a woman- comment." moveing faster than she normaly let others see, she jerked her elbow back into his stomic. then in one movement, she twisted her hand into a fist and brought it up to clip his chin.

his head snaped up and he bit his tounge, slowly lowering his head to look at her with an irritated frown. " ill have to teach you manners girl." sighing he looked at Gregor, takeing hold of Arans arm and thrusting her behind him. his syth caught her arm, leaveing a long cut from her shoulder to her elbow. to Gregor he smiled, though it held a bitter edge. " tell you what, ill let her come to me on her own... until then lets see how you handle the hell cat." with that he simply shifted to he spirit realm, gone from the area in a matter of seconds.

((That was kind of an auto-hit but I'll let it slide because it worked, and a scythe is a really bad weapon to use in combat, I would know, I killed a man two years ago on gaia who was supposed to be the best with a scythe. I got him in one post.))
Gregor rushed to grab Aran to make sure she was ok.
"Do you require healing Aran, I came as soon as your emblem went off."Gregor was concerned, he didn't like to lose soldiers with competence.

noding to Gregor she didnt notice her arm, focused on catching the man. realizeing he was gone she growled in frustration, slaming her hand against the shop wall hard enough to crack the pavement. "that cowardly fool.." something unstable in her started to wake and her eyes flashed blue again. thrusting her tattooed hand at Gregor she snaped her teeth together. " thats a scratch, can this come off?"

"It's possible, but not by me. Sergei could do it though. Come with me, I'll take you to him."Gregor grabbed her arm and he teleported the both of them to Latverious castle.

Whistleing cheerfuly Darius walked easily down the street, enjoying the night. his usual tense look gone, replaced by a relaxed smile. tonight was a night off.. he wouldnt mock this night by hunting.. these few hours were simply for peace. fliping a coin in the air he would let it drop into the other hand, repeating the gesture amused. not long now..

catching his arm she pulled back, her eyes wide with concern. " Darius.. " it was odd.. seeing him at even height, when she used to be shorter. pushing the thought away she set her shoulders, saying in a pained voice. " tell me you didnt Darius.. innocents? small children and innocent creatures..?" she felt her eyes burning and closed her eyes, wiping at her cheek irritatedly. unable to stay angry, she leaned against him in a hug, saying brokenly. " i dont want to fight you.. but i cant avoid it if you upset the balance, please tell me its a lie.. that you didnt kill innocent people.."

smileing to himself he hugged her in return, pulling back after a moment to study her. "where did that little blue haired girl run off to? my, little Pixie the conversion was kind to you. " takeing her hand he tucked it in his elbow, showing age old curtessy as he pulled her along with his walk. " i would answer your questions.. dear cousin.. but im afraid you already know the answers." looking at her from the corner of his eye he sighed, pretending innocence. " i would never go against our promise, how could you ask such a thing?"

pulling her arm from his she closed her eyes. in the space of a blink she spun to the side, a loud crack echoing around the streets as her hand struck his cheek. takeing a step back she felt her wings prickle at her back, a sign of how aggitated she was. " dont you dare lie to me cousin, I know when you do.. and i have to accept that.." turning her face away she steeled her spine, finishing in an empty tone. " i will have to stop you.. dont you see what youve done?! you betrayed me.. betrayed your own promise, your a murderer as well as a lier!"
(( ok, Why arnt you getting ready for work? im not takeing the late shift if one of you idiots arnt there.. those guys are a little much for even me to handle.))

Darius froze, a hand slowly lifting to his cheek in shock. looking at Pixie he frowned, unable to beleive that she had actualy hit him. " Pixie.. considering your family i will let that slide.. but cousin or no, do not insult me. may i remind you that our grandfather had betrayed the promise as well? what is to say you will not end up just like me.. other than the tainted blood in your veins?"

(( heart thanks cuz! ^^. ive been meaning to talk to Vence about that book for a while, but he always drags me into fixing that four wheeler instead. he is cornered this time, no escapeing the questions! lol))
paleing she raised her chin, her eyes showing how much that had hurt her. hideing her expression behind a cold look, she turned away and started walking up the street. no one in her mothers side of the family had forgiven her for loveing a sprite.. which was probibly why they had killed bother of Pixie's parents. seeing that Pixie was more human than sprite, they had let her live.. leaveing her in Haven with her uncle and his child, Darius. of course later she had ran away to her fathers people.. but it still hurt to see that look in her cousins eyes. "im not grandpa. "
