Kold contemplates what the man said. Who exactly was he? How does he know all of this? In any case, Murk was the issue at hand. The rest can wait until later.
He uses adamant ice walls to deflect the air slashes. He gathers water from the thunderclouds and moves it onto Murk's body. The water surrounds his body and flash freezes, giving everyone else an opportunity to strike.

Murk is frozen over by Kold's technique, then deals with the explosive shadow clone, and Kyla's Proud Roar as a coup de gras. The latter attacks melt the ice, and Murk is heavily damaged. Regardless he is left standing.  "You.....you...I won't forget this.....!!!" Murk is infuriated, but knows that he's defeated. He slams his scythe into the ground and creates a portal, and escapes.

Kold looks at the spot where Murk was, then to Kyla. He says nothing.

 ".....Looks like he couldn't stack up without that trinket.....hmf..." Kokujo commented. "Well, I guess it's back to the matter at hand. We now have everything we need to finally go after Yokoshima...." he narrowed his eyes. There was a yawn and part of Kokujos back attire seemed to unfurl into Corbenik, looking tired "Hey wow, I just had the strangest dream, there was a zombie with a really annoying laugh, he had extendible arms, like some budget version of Mr. Fantastic. Then Darth Sidious came to help you guys out with his force powers.....and afterwards everyone gave me cake....I think you should give me cake..." Corbenik said, glancing around.

*the group arrives at an entirely new place on the island. It's a large temple set in a field of clouds. There doesn't seem to be any normal ground, but rather random floating pieces of rubble.
The temple itself seems almost in ruin. From the war between the Machine Faction and the Aeromancers, this once great place has plenty of battle scars.
The portal lets the group off at the entrance to the temple*

I'm not sure. But it could be the place of that other faction on this island. You know, the non-machine people. Didn't X-chan say that Prometheus would be here?

Oh you made it. Come inside you guys.
*he walks back in and there are several Machine Faction soldiers who are in sickbeds. Aeromancers are treating their wounds*
All of these people were attacked by that 3rd party. There haven't been any more wounded, so I'm assuming that you all had something to do with it. Thanks. We were able to save most people attacked, so there we no fatalities. There must have only been one person attacking.
*he leads the group to a stairway*
Follow me up these stairs, and we can create the key to end this journey.
