Rising up from the floor, straightening his posture as he wipe his mouth, Corbin turned his liquid vitae eye on her, and grinned, still with his 'maw of Magra' characterizing his features.

"Ready for the next, mistress."

He then coiled his tail about his waist, and held up his hands, wrists side by side ready to be 'clapped in irons'.

Ice will pay for me keep having to do this...

*She snapped Corbin's restraints back on, then led him back upstairs to Ice's seat, re-attaching the leash there as the gathered populace kept well out of Corbin's way.
Bowing to Deceit, she then resumed her own seat at the ringside, her glare once again on Reinholdt.

Deciet meanwhile, leant towards Corbin*

You are performing well. Prehaps now while she is here, the next part of our tale should be told. The events in the ring should occupy everyone until your next bout.

Now, where had we got to? Oh yes. Roan's own entrance to this place. She had worked up a small name among the courtesans of the continent from her work on the Garou under Arquistas, but England provided the breeding ground for her grand designs.
Brought here by Arquistas, under our own orders, she was installed in oneo fthe cramped, cold cells below. Back then, London was a grim, foggy place, permeated by darkness and filth. She did not prosper. Animalistic in her interactions with others, it was here Arquistas began to rebuild her. She had been held for humiliation in France before the courts, she was held in the cells below to state her station when she arrived here, but finally, after fighting so many enemies placed before her and learning to both respond to Arquistas and the crowd with honour, she took up station where you are now. Once again, attached to the chair of her captor, but this time responding to him, working WITH him, fighting someone elses battle for her own glory. As you are now.
Now thats very important Corbin... Roan LEARNT to act FOR Arquistas. She became a vassal. Tell me... if I were to unchain you now and give you the right and the room to kill me... would you still do it? Or have you learnt the truth yet?

Corbin, even after devouring the Lasombra, and soaking all blood remnants in the pit, was still running low on nurrishment. Even while he could priorotize his expenditures, and last longer then most Cainites, he was still a Hellion, as well as an addicted Diablerist, so he needed far more blood then the average to function at total capacity. Thus when Roan returned him to Ice, and he went on with his lecture, he sat, but had difficulty focusing on the lecture.

When it came time to offer Ice a response, it took a moment, as he was leering at any who let their stares last noticably.

"It, would be a lie if I said I liked you, Deceit. I understand now though."
PostPosted: Thu May 03, 2007 3:51 am

Good. Then we were right in thinking you ready.

*Ice leant back as the winner of the next bout was declared and the next round started. After this, Corbin would have his next face off*

As a vassal, the means no longer became important. Only the goal. Win. Bedcome champion. The world was rife with more Garou than anything back then and szhe fought many many bouts, more than will need do to achieve the same effect. No one knew the name you see. You have walked in here and people know you. The DeSeer heir. The Diablerist. The fiend.. you are known. In one fight you generated the same hype it took Roan three minor contests to do so in. Then Arquistas selected her as his champion and things ran rather much the same for her as they have for you. There were more rounds, and in general the entire affair was seedier, but with her redirection and restructuring, she managed things she would not have been able to before. Her slow rise in this place took a decade. While it went on, she learnt much ab out warfare and perceptions of it. Just as you know what to do to make the crowd squirm, so did she for her crowd back then. FAR less cainites in the ring, so she would brutalise the Garou and eviscerate them before the crowds. Her Disciplines soared, and she finally began to refine her combat. She had even had her sword returned, now that she obeyed the cause and not her anger.
The anger still had it uses of course, and being bred the way she is, Roan has always used it. Saving it for the battles that mattered. Eventually, she held the champions belt. For a further five years she ruled the arena, undisputed. But then, everything changed.... and that is a story for next time. Your focus must be on the next bout. You will fight a much older Garou. It has taken us quite some time to track him down - he hails as one of the Glass Walkers, and you will find the starvation has harmed him little. The crowd will demand appeasement. I leave it to your sick little imagination to come up with something.

*Even as he finished talking, the sound sof battle from the ring echoed. In another twenty minutes, Roan once again came for Corbin*

Ready?

*And led him again to fight*

((Again, have fun. I only intend to rp out Malkis. The others dont matter.))

"..I've just the treatment in mind."

With that, eye still blood red, his sabertooth canines retracted and the bodily effects of the diableristic state reduced to a minimum so as to retain stamina, he entered the ring with Roan as his escort.

Before him, his opponent already stood waiting, surprisingly enough garbed well for a Garou. It was an outfit most might half expect to see Corbin wear, even. With a tall, asian character looking tribal glyph plain to see on the back , and over the right pec of his leather vest, suspenders hanging from his slacks, this man, yet to turn, looked rather dignified, one might say, with his hair short and slicked back, with a manicured face.

"If it weren't for the smell, and my already knowing better, one wouldn't suspect you to be a Garou at all."

"And you, you look more demon, then Cainite."

"I'm sorry to say, you've been flagged as an achievment for your captors, Garou. With this in mind, I need to make as grotesque an example of you, as possible. Lets have some fun with it."

"The same to you."

With that, Corbin raised his tail from its on idle slithering about the pit around him, to doing the same, though closer to him, and around his form. The Garou, took a jump back, knowing full well that the tail being raised was more dangerous then it at first would seem, and began his transformation.

Smirking, Corbin didn't fold his hands behind his back, as he had for the past fights. This time, he held them out loosely at his sides, fingers wriggling faintly.

"First things first."

At this statement, Corbin took in a deep breath, and as he did, the red steam he had exerted in his last fight re-formed in the air, and was syphoned into his mouth, every last damp molecule, before the blood from the Garou's last fight was soaked up in through th pores in his legs. Corbin then exhailed in a relaxed manner, and the Diablerist state regressed, leaving him 'normal.

By now the Garou had changed, growing out from his human like form into the half wolf form, standing much higher then Corbin, and broader aswell, with now the much more threatening maw.

The Garou was off. At a greater speed then the last could manage, the Glass Walker dashed low to the ground straight for the Cainite, arms held close to his body behind him, claws tensed.

Corbin simply smirked, as a circlet opened in his eye, and he innitiated the 'Auspex' ability 'Precognition'. Even with the lowest level of the skill, it was enough.

"This fight, is already mine."

"How typical a thing to say."

The Garou then tried something none of the others had yet, he spun his entire body in his approach trying to use misdirection, before dicing in at Corbin's legs, hoping to slide under the tail.

Corbin's reactions however, were spot on, and a loop of the tail dropped down to the floor just before the falling Garou like a jump rope, and as the wolf passed over it, the tail, and in consequence, the Glass Walker aswell, were thrown into the air.

As the Garou soared above the pit with just the slight horizontal momentum, meaning he would have landed back inside the pit, another loop of the tail swung above him, then came rifling back down, catching the Garou around the neck, before slamming him back down on the pit floor.

Having landed on his shoulders, neck, and the back of his head, the Garou jumped back to his feet with a cough, splutter and a stagger, feeling the fractures in his scapulae' scratch about themselves as he rolled the sore shoulders.

"Looks like I fractured the left scapulae, nearly shattered the right, and..Yes, theres a hair line fracture in the back of your skull. Must hurt, still see straight?"

Snarling, the Glass Walker spat a small amount of blood out after biting his tongue in the impact.

"You dirty wretch. You can see more then my wounds, cant you."

Corbin simply shrugged, closing his eye for a brief moment, and when he re-opened it, a second circlet had appeared.

With a deranged sounding, more gutteral snarl, the Garou broke out into his dashign once more, this time however trying to make his movements as spontanius, and sporatic as possible, working on sheer spur of the moment impulse.

Corbin would applaud the Lycan's actions, this did indeed make the precognition more difficult, since now the outcome was changing with each spontanius movement, however the ultimate outcome, being the attack angle, stayed similiar, and as he grew closer, coming from the right side still infront of him, the last sporatic movement was read, analized, and the outcome was clear.

Corbin again dropped a loop of his tail, this time swinging it across the floor to catch his opponent's ankles, and trip him to fall flat on his chin, a mere foot or so out of arms reach.

"One principle of combat is.."

Corbin's tail then looped around the ankles, and dragged the Garou back, claws dragging across the floor as he struggled against the pull, before being flung away.

"Reach."

The Garou then, as the tail let go of his ankles, hit the pit wall flush upside down, his chin and pelvic taking the brunt of the impact, before he fell to the floor on his back.

"If you cant reach your opponent in a hand to hand, or melee based fight, then you cannot win."

As the Garou grumbled somthing about a cracked hip, and Corbin's obnoxious attitude, pushing his torso up, a smirk etched at the edge of the Cainite's lips. When the Garou put some weight on his forward foot, trying to stand, an agonized howel rang out, and he fell flat on his face once more.

As the Garou writhed on the floor, whincing as he examined his feet with one eye, the other shut tightly, Corbin started a slow walk towards him, tail weaving through the air above him.

"I fuzed the joints in your feet. Tibia, Calcaneus cuboid, Navicular, Phalanges..Its all one solid bone now. Well, fragile, and easily broken, but still. The pain your experiencing, is more then likely the result of breaking the filliments I made in the joints by trying to move them."

Corbint then stopped some few feet away from the crippled Garou, facial features blank once more. He already knew what was about to happen, so it didn't stun him any, however the on lookers may find it abit of a shock. The Garow gave a furious roar, and all at once, staggered to his feet, the sound of bones snapping and cracking ringing out in a sickening cacophony, before the Glass Walker fell back on the wall for support, breathing laboured as he growled.

"Should have made it more solid, b*****d. This wont stop me!"

"I figured it wouldn't, I just thought it a great irony. With those shards of broken bone, floating around under the skin and muscle o your feet, dosn't it feel like..Walking on Glass?"

Corbin then, gave a menacing grin as the Garou went into a fit of rage, not at all amused by the joke at his expense. With Corbin so close, it only took a moment for the Garou to close in, roaring thunderously at both his blinding rage, and crippling pain, as shards of bone cut through muscle and skin, leaving bloody foot prints in his wake.

Corbin held his tail back, and went into close combat evasive movements, drawing upon his old style of dance like stepping, as he ducked and weaved in and out, around each swipe, thrust, punch, kick and savage bite.

With every two or three evaded attacks, Corbin's hands would slide by the Garou's body. His arms, upper legs, waist, torso, and even his jaws, his fingertips just grazing across the surfaces each time. To the less intuned, aware onlookers it was an act of sheer mockery, however it would be clear to some, like Ice, and Roan, that there was more then that going on.

Each time Corbin's fingers glided over the Garou's fur coated flesh, muscles were drawn tighter, for example the pectoral muscle was connected to bicep muscles, and when drawn tight enough, it would feel as though his own body was either trying to pull his arm into his chest, or his chest into his arm. It was muscular tug-o-war. Then there were the muscles that were loosened, leaving them flacid and useless, or the skin that was drawn tighter over key points, like around his biceps, or his thighs, causing them to split open with bloody lacerations if he moved the areas too much. Finally there was the manipulation of his bone density, and joint spaces. Either turning bone frail and wafer thin, or filling the joints as he had in the feet, so they broke easily enough to create shards that cut him apart from the inside.

After several minutes of this dance, and the Garou's cries, coming from pains he had never before experienced, nor thought possible, the bloodied, bruised and mangled creature fell to his hands and knees, unable to strive on through the agony any longer.

Without a change in his expression, Corbin took a knee before the broken creature, whose visible mutilation was just the tip of a massive iceberge, and set his right hand to rest on the crown of his head.

"And now, i'll share with you an agony that I have experienced myself, before showing mercy."

Corbin then, through the contact between his palm, and the Garou's skull, began altering his form all at once. He first forced the creature BACK into his human appearance, then continued, as his victim's eyes rolled back into his head, and his mouth hung open.

Within a half a minute, the Garou had taken on the form, of his opponent. He had become, Corbin, right from the scar covered right eye, down to the monstrous tail. Every little detail. Corbin then stood, making it seem as though it took more effort then it really did.

"Now I feed."

With the lacerations all over the Garou's body, it was easy for him to draw every last drop of vitae from his body in a mere handfull of moments, and absorp it through his skin pores, once more. With a satisfied sigh, like the one brought on by a cool drink on a hot day, Corbin took a deep breath, puffing his cheeks out like balloons, and exhailed a roaring liquid fire, that quickly enveloped the corpse, just now suffering cardiac arrest, as the heart tried to pump non-existant plasma, along with a corner of the pit.

Turning his back on the last suffocated howel of his opponent, as the circlets closed, and faded back into his eye, Corbin gave a shallow bow of the head to the crowed.

And with that, Vengeance.... you are surpassed.

*Roan didnt turn her head with Ice's voice at her ear, the only sign of her reactions to Corbin's outstanding performance being the tighter grip of her hands on the arms of her seat. *

Think as you will Deceit, you have your orders, and I have mine. He has always been a Hellion, the Hellbane line runs strong in him, but that will NEVER change the fact... that he is my son.

*She wordlessly handed ICe Corbin's leash and left the Tzimisce to reclaim his champion while she went to find a drink, Reinholdt moving to intercept her*

Poor old girl... Corbin. Return if you please. I see you have made good use of my gift to you...

*He headed back for his own seat, again smirking at the scared reactions of the crowds who had come to see Corbin fight and sat himself*

Are you ready for more of our tale? The club will close shortly so now is a good as time as any as I must leave you tonight.

Watching Roan leave him without a word, Corbin cocked a brow at the woman's back. Something was up. He however as ice bid his coming, had to obey, and so he made his way out of the pit, and to Deceit's side, taking his seat.

"Yes sir."

As he sat there, his eye followed Roan about the club, a concerned expression showing blatantly as he pondered over what had transpired during his last fight.
PostPosted: Fri May 04, 2007 3:57 am

You look like a kicked puppy. Vengeance is fine, leave her be.

*Vitae was duly delivered to the two, Deciet indicating the whole pitcher should be left for Corbin, while he himself contented himself with just a single glass*

I was going to tell you more. Now then, where did it start? Ah yes. Arquistas realising what he had. Now, you are WELL aware of Roan's skills, and her forte's. Her mind at that time was not as defined and sharp. She was still learning, on the shop floor as it were, how to control people with words and deeds alone. But her physical strength was slowly catching up to what it is today. Especially once she got her sword back. With her new clarity and physical abilities, she and Take came to an agreeent which made her the most powerful weilder of the blade yet. Her work after that was devestating. No one lasted against her, she became a pure killing machine. From the second she arrived at the ring until the second she left it, she would enter a blood rage, with the ability to turn it and her anger off the second her enemies were dead. Suddenly, the DeSeer name was everywhere. The club could not physically take the amount of people who came. And then Arquistas got a rather foolish idea. Roan's power could maybe be used to free him from our organisation and controls. It had been years now for Roan. She would do anything Arquistas ordered, as he worked for the cause. So when she was told to attack a man they brought to the ring, she thought no more of it, and quite simply.. did so. What she did not know, that Arquistas did, was that that man was Syn. I wont tell you which. To be frank, Roan decimated him. He used no Syn moves against her as she was being trained to be one of ours, and he could simply be re-instated in a new body, but you can imagine our anger when Arquistas then moved Roan from the bar and went missing. With our most deadly weapon.
We hunted him down, followed what leads we could, and I cannot tell you the story of what happened to your Sire in that time as no one knows and she has never spoken of it.
Eventually, Arquistas was found, in America. It took three Syn to bind Roan in place with our blood hold, but that left only two to deal with Arquistas, who had his escape route planned. He got away.
It would take us a further five years to undo his hold on Roan and teach her of the cause in its true form. She became the first un-instated Syn to know our true purpose, and unsuprisingly, as soon as she knew and found a space to get freedom from us all, she cut and ran.
She returned to the states, let herself fall in with the Sabbat and spent many many years learning torture techniques from them and researching the subject. Presumably, it was for revenge on us and on Arquistas, revenge has always been her forte, but... anytime she crossed paths with one of ours, she would let them go free. Strange, neh?
Now back in the past she had learnt from Raoul before he was Prince. The agreement between the two was that one day she would repay him. She did not know he was one of our men.
We left her alone. For century or two, we simply let her be. She was coming around all by herself and after the Arquistas fiasco, that was fine. We had time.
Evetually, the Anarch wars started up. It was a cause Roan could understand. She helped. More, she was right in the thick of it. Yet when it was over, nothing had really changed and Raoul appeared on her doorstep. She made a choice. The Camarilla had a need and a cause and she had a debt to pay. She came full circle, returned to the fold, and took up the cause as her own.
Her first orders were to deal with Arquistas. This would take a very long time, and in the mean time, she started having visions. Visions which led to the establishment of her own clan. To all of you. Each chosen for a reason, to be instructed and controlled in the cause, to work as an army capable of taking out entire countries. You came as somewhat of a suprise to start with, but fate knows what it is doing, and has now led you down the same path to... here.
I told you already we do not have years. You have seen how chaotic the world is becoming, how many wars we face, how many enemies. We cannot afford to bring you entirely over to us as a single unit as so instead, we will have to rely on your relationship with Vengeance when this is over to continue your training. After all, if I ordered you to attack Vengeance, you would turn your weapons on me. Correct?

Corbin listened intently, as he drained the pitcher all at once. After all, even at its lowest points of exertion, both Vissitude, and the Precognition skills were costly. To break through time, and read fate, was a task, even for one so accom;lished as Corbin was in the Cainite disciplines, let alone those native to his base clan, Brujah.

The outcome of Roan's past interested him to no end, and even the reason why she was acting so strange now, became clearer. Was Corbin, making the imfamy Roan started so very long ago in the same pit, seem poulrty, as he was most likely more advanced then she was back then? If that were the case, then he could understand her attitude. First for him to be taken, and put through all of this, THEN, for him to surpass her at this point..That would only smear salt, and squelch lemon over the wounds. Roan was after all, still a pridefull woman, a self respecting and remmaniscent(sp?) warrior.

It was only at Ice's last statement, that he spoke up.

"Without hesitation, sir. She has not only cared for me as a leader, but as a mother through thick, thin, and regression..She has respected me, and my family..Namely my father. I have to ask though, sir. I get the impresion from your constant mention of ferago being returned to her, that she was allowed her sword in atleast her last contest in the pit. Will I, be granted the same privelage, in the end with Ansuz? Not to say I would need it, but it would be such a treat, and such a powerful message. Simply my weilding the sword of a god, alike her weilding that of a Daemon, even without useing it in any of the released conditions. After all, if I were to release it two even the first stage, I could cut this entire establishment into kindling, let alone the second stage, where I can call fourth the limit breaker abilities Final flare, and final bolt, which would leave this building as a crater. The third, and final stage however, would summon fourth nidhogg, or Cerberus. Nidhogg's maw, the transformed manafestation of the blade while posessed by the Norse monster could..Well yiou know what happened in the bout with Hades. With all six of my swords, or even my naginata, ascended state or not, I could turn my final opponent into a whining infant."

Corbin then realized just how much he had ranted, and caught himself. Lowering his head, he apologized.

"Forgive my rambling. My query is simply, will I be granted access to my weapons, when the time comes for the finale?"

*Then Ice did something strange. He gently cupped Corbin's chin, leant in, and kissed him. For once, it was not the overly pushy, needful kiss he would have lavished on Corbin back at the Chasm*

Of course sweetness. Against Malkis, you will have one of your weapons. And you will need your others soon after that. THEN you'll understand why Vengeance is walking about like a storm waiting to happen. Your loyalty is impressive. One has to wonder how she managed to take such a rag tag bunch and build them into what we have now. You for example. She crippled your father, took you in, then actually killed him as well. Yet, you would not harm her.
And Azrael. Brutally murdered, torn from all he knew and made a monster in his own eyes, even he now knows where home is and would not harm her. Even back in the days when he would have, he would have killed anyone else who tried to first...
And all the rest... quite quite miraculous and hopefully something you will one day emulate if needs be. Heh..

*He lit a cigar and sat back, ignoring the gazes that had locked on them both. The club was beginning to empty now*

Are you still hungry? Tell me now, because I have a meeting to attend tonight and you WILL be attacked after hours. Around 10am I should think. Do not break the chain which ties you here, and do not damage the building. You have permission to kill them however.

Wrinling his lips at the kiss, Corbin gave no vocal adversity, for fear of the repecutions. He then sat, refusing to look at Ice for the rest of the discussion, instead furiously eyeing any who looked him strangely, or simply looked at him for two long.

"Famished, sir. I wont need much though, I supose. If there are to be playthings later."

As he sat there, he pondered over just what, and how many would come as Ice suggested. Would they be lycan, or Cainite? Contestant, punter or even, those sour over the loss of their champions. Either way, he would pile them behind his spot by the throne, should Ice allow him disciplines, or leave him completely sealed, the result would be the same.
PostPosted: Sat May 05, 2007 4:09 am

*The club was almost empty now. Ice sought anotehr pitcher of vitae for Corbin before shrugging into his own jacket and stretching*

I will be back by 5pm. I dont really care what you do to those who attack you, have some fun without people watching you sweetheart. Goodnight.

*And with that, he left. Soon after, the lights when down, locks turned and the place fell almost silent, save for the whimpers and growls from the cells below, the new comers sometimes trying their luck at escape and rattling the bars of their cages.
Prehaps it was due to this that the slight noise at 11am at one of the windows was hard to notice. Within ten minutes, it was open, a slender figure sliding through the gap. He was followed by two more. Dressed in black robes to shield themselves from the sun, the trio shed these once inside, closing the window to keep the daylight outside, then they moved towards Corbin. One carried a blow pipe. It would appear the cainite intruders intended to sedate the diablerist first...a nd what else would a cainite use but Haemoxinate? They approached Corbin from behind, readying the dart gun.*

"Goodnight, sir."

Was the very last sound Corbin made, vocal, or as a result of movement. It was sometime later when the intruders entered through the Fang window, finding Corbin sat on the floor leaning against Ice's throne, head resting on the arm as he lay still in torpor.

As the three would be assassins approached the slumbering monster of a Cainite, the blow pipe at the ready, waiting till they were close enough to not possibly miss their chance, for fear of the Diablerist waking and retaliating.

Several feet away, not daring to get ay closer and risk waking their target, the blow pipe armed individual took a knee, and steadied his weapon by holding the pipe with two hands, and reasting the forward hand on his knee.

As the knelt intruder took aim, te other two took hold of their own weapons. One held the hilt of a masamune, the other, the handle of a pistol, one of several he wore in holsters about his body.

With first a deep breath, he then 'fired', and the dart hit its target flush in the back of the neck, Haemoxinate pumping in. Grips around weapons tightened, before the gunman drew upon his firearm and readily emptied a clip into his mark's back. None were pleased by the sound that rang out, however.

Cocking brows in confusion at the sounds, they slowly approached, and the swordsman drew his masamune, and slashed with all the force he could muster at the neck. The blade stuck.

As eyes widened, Corbin's body grew hazy, before the whole throne began to mistify in the air. After a moment, all three noticed simultaniously that the throne, seemed a third smaller then it actually was. The illusion vanished, leaving 'Corbin' missing, and the throne that had been covered by an illusion fully returned to sight, some bullet holes in it, a dart, and a blade embedded in the arm.

As the three turned their backs on one-another and pressed close together, eyes darting about frantically, the scattered sound of insects, grubs and bugs scurrying about them could be heard. One glanced down at his feet, and grimaced at what he saw. Millipedes, maggots, roaches and the like swarming about the floor, and up his legs, completely coating his legs from the mid thighs down. In response to the first's disgusted sounds, the other two intruders looked down, one finding the same thing, however the third, turned from frightened, and on edge, to terrified, finding Corbin crouched at his feet, nothing distinguishable to his tunnel vision but the savage ear to ear grin of shark-esque zig-zag teeth.

Hollering out loudly in horror, this prompted the other two to jumpo away, and turn just in time to watch as Corbin's left, completely obsidian hand and arm shot up, clutching the first of his victim's right hand, and the blow pipe he held, the hand and instrument crushed like a frail taco shell in the diablerist's grip.

The carnivorous maw parted slowly, like a steel bear trap as the obsidain coated left arm began to wripple, and writhe with serpents that formed like a bunched mass around the arm. Shade serpents hissed and struck at the caught intruder's body, as Corbin slowly rose up from his crouch, his eye glowing vibrantly with emerald behind the silver hair that covered the upper portion of his face.

With an arm that appeared made completely of tangled serpents starting to spread up the arm, and across the torso of the caught intruder, the other two snarled, baring their Cainite fangs as they held their wepons tightly, taking defensive stances.

Struck with immobilizing fear, the first victim simply trembled and whimpered, as serpents slithered all about his body, and Corbin grinned, towering over him, his height in the eyes of this prey growing endlessly.

Suddenly, blood showered in all directions, caking the back of the throne, floor, wall, and remaining two intruders, as splinters of bone sprung up from inside the first's body, turning him into a reversed pin cushion, one of the bone spikes extending far enough to skewer the gunman's throat, and sever bash into the spinal column at the back of the neck.

With one would be assassin dead instantly, and a second immobilized, held three or more inches from the ground by the spike of bone embedded in his neck, Corbin turned to the third. The swordsman.

Grinning like a tickled serial killer, he held his arms out at his sides, offering the swordsman a free shot. It took a minute to muster the courage, but sure enough the intruder took his chance, and with a furious cry, thrust the blade directly for Corbin's heart. The result however was far, FAR from satisfactory. The steel shattered.

The blade had pierced Corbin's hide, however unknown to him, beneath the skin Corbin bore a vest of bone nd keratin, which bent, then shattered the end of the masamune, not causing a flinch from the diablerist, as he simply grinned wider.

Fleeing came quick to mind, however the swordsman was in the air before he could act upon this impulse, having had his feet ripped out from under him by Corbin's tail.

As the swordsman, still clinging desperately to the hilt of his sword dangled in the air, feet in the air, face to face with the diablerist, several shots rang out, followed immediately by the sound of lead against denser then any bone and keratin, some even skipping off Corbin's skull.

Turning his eye on the gunmen, still able to hold, and fire his weapons, Corbin snarled, rolling his neck to shake the lead from his hide, letting them rattle across the floor, after penetrating just skin alone.

"You'll pay ten fold, for that cheap shot runt."

Corbin then turned back to the dangling swordsman nose to nose, as the gunman attempted reloading, and leered. As circlets opened in Corbin's eye, flesh quickly tightened around the swordman's body, forcing his body to curl up into a tight ball. Tighter, tighter, and tighter still, till breathing would run the risk of expanding the lungs, and chest enough to rupture the hide. By now, the first vixtim that had died instantly, had become a dead tree like formation of Bones. Flesh, organs, muscles and the like decorated the white tree branches gorely, and a cavity was formed in the trunk of the tree. stashing the balled up swordsman inside the cavity, Corbin then sealed the cavity with bone bars, creating a prison.

"Now then..As for you.."

Another shot rang out, and Corbin's forehead sprung a spurt of crimson, as the bullet fell from his forehead to the floor.

"That does it, bollocker."

When the doors opened again later that eve, those who entered, would be greeted by the decoration Corbin had created, the diablerist himself knelt peacfully at the throne side. Behind the throne a bone tree, complete with a cage, holding within the fetal ball of agony, still 'alive', and a grotesque, still whimpering, crucified gunman at the hieght of the figure. His flesh rotted to the poin t skin was falling from his body, and still rotting further. Wrists, ankles and spinal column fused with the bone branches of the tree, a crown of bone thorns cutting into his forehead.. The main point of restraint however, was the thick bone spike, that rose up from the base of the tree, skewering the gunman from a**s to lips in such a manner it was possible for the Cainite to remain 'alive', not damaging the heart or brain.

*The first to arrive were the bar staff and pit gaolers. To say that the staff were not impressed with the decoration would be an understatement - many where physically sick at the sight of it, taking in the spectacle with horrified expressions.
It was an hour after this that Ice returned. At first he stood, awed and shocked, in the doorway, jaw open as he simply gazed on what was now behind his throne.*

What the... my god.

*Slowly, the Tzimisce advanced on the structure, reaching out a soft hand to caress the 'bark', then leaning his cheek against it as his ears listened to the agonised cries of the two still living occupants. A serene smile spread over Deciets lips and he turned doe eyes to Corbin*

It is... beautiful.

*An actual tear ran from his eye, the warped mind of Ice seeing this only as the highest art he had come across for years, and as something of a personal present*

This... is art. Pain and agony, sculpted... if I had not loved you before Corbin, there would be no doubt now...

*His hands danced over the structure as he circled it, purring lovingly as his tail swayed, then he began to climb. He did not go far, staying well below the crucified man at the top, but ICe then added HIMSELF to the sculpture. His legs melded into the bone of the tree, his arms outstretched, partly merging with it, so that he seemed to loom out of it like a demeted dryad. And here he intended to stay, basking in the 'art' until such time as he had to move. It would be a few more hours before the club opened to the punters*

-----------------------------

*As soon as the club DID open, Roan was among the first entree's, and her reaction was prehaps in itsel fthe most bizarre. She simply groaned, rolled her eyes, then strode over and threw herself down on ICe's throne*

HOW immature do you two want to be?! I mean honestly!

*Other members enetring the lub were going through the ritual of fear, sickness, and horror as they rested their eyes on Corbin;s master piece and some left the club entirely. Pointing upwards, Roan's voice was as hard edges as it got*

Corbin. Kill them. Now.

Corbin just rolled his eyes and sighed at ice's toying with his creation, starting to regret his decision to make it. The comment of pain and agony sculpted however, and the praise went over well, there was no point in lieing there.

As Roan reacted the way she did, and gave Corbin his order, he nodded.

"Yes Mistress."

Corbin's tail brushed against the ivory tree, and instantly hundreds upon hundreds of bone needles absolutely covered the pair of survivors, leaving not an inch of their bodies to be seen through the rain of needles that had pierced them all over.
