Sage had watched as the dragon was quickly ganged up upon by all that had gathered here. Sage’s eyes would blink close for only a second as she focused her mind and channeled her chakra to activate the technique she learned so long ago while visiting the Village Hidden among the Flames. Sage softly muttered, “Innerfire” as she opened her eyes once again. Sage had seen enough of the on going battle and finally made up her mind about what she felt needed to happen. Sage felt the slight change in her body as the technique charged her muscles and altered her body to make it her resistant to the fire. Sage would then lean forward and sprint the side of the dragon. Upon reaching the dragon’s side, Sage would begin to sing a tune that she learned not to long ago. As these words filled the air, “Kut yht Kuttacc uv dra cgeac, Bmayca nacbuht du so lneac. Mevd sa ib eh Kut yht Kuttacc uv dra cgeac, bmayca nacbuht du so lneac. Mevd ib dra tnykuh fedr ouin cdnuhk ynsc, yfyo vnus druca fru caag res ryns. Creamt res vnus dra yfvim vmysac dryd crymm vyla res uh drec tyo. Ramb res pa cdnuhk eh ymm dryd ra tuac, yht ramb rec raynd du nasyeh dnia. Keja res dra cdnahkdr du vyla dra ubbuhahdc, yht dra ryntcrebc dryd myo pavuna res.” As the words of the ancient ward melody of the Niskie tribe filled the air, a barrier that was visible to the naked eye would envelope Sage and the dragon. The technique was designed to fend off elemental based attack like the ones that had been used to beat the dragon down to its current state. Sage’s right hand still rested gently upon the hilt of the sheath katana on her right side. Sage did not risk letting her guard down even for a second since she was not sure how the others might react to her interference. Sage would look at the dragon and then say, “What is your name and why have you come to this place?”Old: 7411 // New: 337 Last Post

Hidden GrassThe Phoenix was finally free of those tails that had sought to smother it. They hadn't succeeded in that, but they had hurt! But the pain could be withstood, especially if it got to see the Shichibi falling to the ground once more. The Phoenix let loose another shriek, this time one of victory. There, it had shown the upstart Demon that it was the true essence of fire, that it was the flame that burned brightest! As if to prove it's point, it's flames soared higher, the temperature rising steadily, even more than the already lung-scalding level that filled the air. It's fire waxed brighter and hotter, enough that it seemed unlikely to stop before it became a second sun. Was the Phoenix trying to finish the Shichibi off, or was it just releasing some steam? Large gouts of flame began flying loose in all directions. This was not ordinary fire, that could be ignored by those with fiery talents. No, this was still dangerous even to them, both for it's force, and for that supreme hotness that was trumped only be the plasma lurking at the heart of celestial bodies. This was a heat that could not be ignored, no matter who happened to be the target.

Hurdy watched as the dragon lay down to die. It would be done in by the various ninja around him and after the dragon, he would be next. Choosing the right choice and leaving while the dragon had every one's attention was one he chose. He Turned and headed for the docks, keeping his external heat to a minimum so not to draw attention by any one. Especially not sage, the kage of hidden cloud, where he was a missing ninja from.
Dawn and Knight smiled and saw that even though they had not destroyed the beast, they had indeed taken part in it's down fall. Knight threw some kunai at it, and watched as the rigged explosions went off. Dawn knew it was over and didn't waste the resources. He just sat back on the charred earth and waited for his battle loving brother to say he was ready to leave.

Akira smiled. That was over. He looked to the Phoenix however. He wondered, now that the Sachibi was destroyed, would the ninja be objective enough to turn their attention towards the other beast that was harming their land, or would they simply leave it to destroy now that the mission that they all came to do was over. IT was an interesting question, but not truly one that he wanted to learn the answer to. His lungs were beginning to burn, even with the Rokubi protecting them and healing them. He sighed. "Why not, let the beast let off steam." He looked towards Ranmaru who was drained from the lunar phase technique and Saizo who was just drained. They did alright by Akira, he knew that. It would simply be time before they would battle something like this again. That was the only constant about this.
Ranmaru saw the dragon fall and smiled, before falling to his knees, barely able to keep himself up. He did not know if his lunar destruction did any good, but it certainly did not hurt. He quickly deactivated it and the lunar phase technique, feeling the flash burning effect of the temperature. This place was an oven, that was for sure.

With the dragon being triumphed over, Tsuki smirked, still hovering in mid-air. However, soon after the phoenix also began to celebrate in its victory over the tailed beast. The temperature starting to rise higher and higher and soon would become very troublesome to stay within as Tsuki began [quotto sweat quite a bit from it. Just what the hell was going on? It seemed to have been absorbing energy and making itself into some type of miniature Super Nova. This wasn't good...she just got here dammit! Though she had a plan, surely she couldn't land on the ground because the ground would be scorching hot, so hovering in the air would suffice. Making several hand seals, Tsuki's stone skin covered her body, protecting it while also manipulating the wind around her to keep the stone skin cool as while as a the small area around her, protecting her from the heat and the flames. Now all that was left was to deal with the raging Phoenix.

b*****d had tried to blow him up from the inside. Like he would let that happen. He stood watching outside where the maelstrom of fire raged. He had survived making himself into water to avoid being destroyed by the explosion within his own body. Momiji laughed watching the dragon fall to the ground. "I'm above god, I can't be killed like that. I thought you might be like me, but I guess not. My flame can not be quenched by someone like you." He watched the flames lick over the field, his heart sped up a couple of beats, she was there, amidst the flames of battle, Tsuki.
Mei clutched her guitar to her chest watching the possible conclusion to the battle. They said when it was too hot, just get the hell out of the kitchen and after the dragon had tried to blow up Momiji. They had fled across the ruins of Grass, moving as fast as they could. She turned to watch Momiji she was confused as she watched his expression change so quickly. Her eyesight wasn't as good as his so she couldn't see exactly what he looking at, but she knew that look all to well, something was out there that he wanted, but he couldn't have it. She leaned into Knox seeking refuge from his tall form.
Knox watched the place burn. He was faster, there was no doubt about that, the shichibi couldn't catch him on his best day. His training was finally showing it's fruit. He was no use in fighting a beast of flames with his wind. He felt Mei lean in to him and he put his arm around her, thinking that she was simply tired and devastated from the destruction of the village. She'd need comfort from someone and he would prefer if it wasn't from someone like Momiji. Yes he had brought her back to the village, but he didn't trust him at all, he was after all the one who had taken her in the first place.

The Dragon only roared as it looked at the person who had caught him. She was one of them. One of his partners in the old times. He only let out a roar.
"Things are coming to end..Old Friend..and they arn't goign to be anything like they used to be..If you think I am the worst of your troubles..then you are wrong. I came here looking for a suitable host..."
The Dragon only roared. The dragon was looking for one person to take over as his partner. One person that could make his blood boil. IT was having a aprticular problem to find somebody to take over over his body.
"At least somebody that would be a worthy to be the new me...A partner..because trust me..things arn't going to get any better any time soon..it might not just be the end of the shinobi..it might be the end of our world pretty soon.."
The Dragon said slowly.

Hidden GrassAfter it's last fiery outburst, the Phoenix rose higher into the air, soaring overhead as it glared down at everything below it. The Shichibi still lived, but killing it wasn't necessary. The message had been delivered, loud and clear. That the Phoenix was the true essence of fire, and the Shichibi was just a lizard pretender to the throne! While staying to kill it, incinerate the dragon and everything around, might be entertaining, the Phoenix didn't really feel like it just yet. It had finally gained a mortal body, it could finally interact with the physical world again! It wasn't about to throw away this chance to let loose some truly great conflagrations! It let out a shrill shriek once more, and flapped it's fiery wings, tongues of flame spreading out to fall to the earth, an actual rain of fire. It didn't even seem aware of this inconsequential yet dangerous action.

Hearing the dragon roar once more hearing it speak of trying to find a suitable host, Tsuki smirked. Earth, Light, Wind, Lightning...she already had these abilities mastered and added into her arsenal. Questing for great power in all the elements, and now there was one of the most powerful fire beings in all the known shinobi world, wounded right before her eyes. There was no way in hell that she would pass up this opportunity. Being kept cool with her wind eliminating the heat from overwhelming her body, her smirk faded, not wanting to show her cunning delight.
"A suitable host you say?"
She spoke to the Shichibi, soaring down to it, landing in front of it while hovering several feet from the ground, flying around its wounded body several times before her feint smirk returned, letting her excess chakra overflow from her body for the dragon to feel, remaining in the final stage of her cursed seal, she would begin to bargain with the tailed beast, though the Raikage would be right beside her as she did so, she could explain her reasons for wanting to gain a tailed beast's powers once this was over. Besides, Sage-sama had a beast of her own after all.
"If you need a host then why didn't you say so? I'd be more than happy to become a host body for you my tailed friend. I have control over the Earth and Wind, with your fire abilities completing the trio you and I will be able to unlock a plethora of jutsu the ninja world has never seen. And believe it or not, you and I have something in common."
She explained before landing in front of the fallen dragon again, staring at him with her own pair of dragon-like eyes with three tamaos spinning around them, the offspring of her Ryuugan and Sharingan fusion. A feint giggle escapes her lips as she glances up to the phoenix raging and then back down to the Shichibi.
"Of course you could just stay here and allow this burning land and ash to become your grave. However, unlike most Jinchuuriki parings out there, I think you and I would make a good team, dont'cha think?"

"Heh, what you need is an immortal god among ninjas. She has power, but eh, power isn't everything."
Momiji coalesced from the smoking air around the fell beast, stepping from behind Tsuki to stand at her side presenting himself as the better host.
"You've already tried it yourself, killing me is no easy thing. With my immortality and your power well. I think things could go quite nicely."
Momiji smirked watching the flames eat at the remnants of the city. He placed his hands behind his head and looked up at the cloudless sky any moisture burned away by the flames of battle.
"Besides... side with her and you have to be around that hedgehog and that cat all the time, it was my understanding that you all usually didn't get along in close proximity to one another."
Momiji shrugged, Tsuki was known collude with several of the different bijuu who had known hosts.

It was odd, really.
The dragon that had once been wreaking havoc and destruction now wished for a host? It was unexpected, but in the very least, it seemed to be a convenient substitute for combat. Nonetheless, whether the need to actually kill the beast ever came, due to the arrival as the overpowered shinobi, even if the fight were to continue, odds were that the beast would be put down soon. Breaking his train of thoughts on the dragon for several moments, Kumo traced out several circles in the ashen earth, setting his hands down as the drawn symbols glowed, the earth soon showing a similar glow as a barrier of stone was conjured to barricade his form from the raining fire as he looked up at the pair that seemed to be having a conversation with the beast.
At this point, it seemed to be little more than a bunch of people trying to entice the beast to their favor...
In a way... The idea seemed... Pitiful, to the Kidoumaru.

Tsuki scoffed beneath her breath to Momiji's comment. How annoying this man was, blabbing away to the Shichibi like she knew him. Immortality was highly over rated, after all. Tsuki snickers a bit as she glances over to Momiji, having not bothered to send him away.
"Poor soul, how little you know about me. What makes you think that you're immortal or that I am not? Hehe, and on top of that...I'm far more powerful and intelligent then you'll ever hope to be."
She told him, giving Momiji a blank stare through her Ryuu-Sharingan eyes, how she got this offspring was anyone's guess. She sighs weakly rubbing her head as this man clearly had an idea of who she was while at the same time had no clue at all, probably having taken passing glances at her, or maybe she was such an idol that he stalked her?
"Baka...what do you mean by 'having to be around' eh? I know I lot of people, but I really 'hang out' with people so to speak. I know how to keep my distance from others, it really isn't that hard. And besides...Immortality is highly under-rated, those that claim to be are normally second-rate shinobi that are the first to die in battle. However, we'll just let the Shichibi decide."
There was really no point in arguing with this man, she doubts that he, let alone anyone, would cave in an argument. Shinobi had too much pride for that. No more boasting and what not, she'd just let the Shichibi decide his own fate.

The Rokubi let out a sudden earsplitting roar. He was content to stand on the sidelines, content to have his time in control for a short while until forced back within his seal by these Moon souls, but this was too much for him. "YOU INSUFFERABLE, DISRESPECTFUL FOOLS!!!" He roared at the two. "What is my brother to you all, some concubine you feel you have the right to barter for? I have my differences with the Sachibi, as I do all of my brothers and sisters, but this is too much." He continued to snarl at them. "You disrespect him like this and you disrespect us all. We are far older than you, self proclaimed Immortal. We grant far more power to our hosts than you can even fathom. Don't think that anything within your arsenals entice us to you weak ninja. We choose our hosts on reasons far more lasting than such things. I would rather kill my brother than allow him to be treated like some whore for the highest bidder." Instead it would turn his head upwards at the falling phoenix. "Keep out of this!!!" He would shout before unleashing a blast of chakra capable leveling villages at the bird and host.

"My my such an angry creature he is."
Tsuki mumbled beneath her breath as she glanced over to the Rokubi who seemed to have been pretty pissed off, even though the Bijuu didn't necessarily get along, at least they were decent about it, she had no idea that they could be. Her smirk faded and was replaced by a more serious expression. She sighed weakly as she scratches the back of her head, having no idea that the Rokubi would get so offended from her words.
"Hoi, hoi I didn't mean any disrespect really. I was just trying to get your brother on my side, but like I said he'll choose the host he wants, if he chooses me then he chooses me, and if he doesn't then he doesn't. Heh, all I'm saying is with that giant a** fire bird flying around, time is of the essence."

[[Dr.E says your the Tsuki that Momiji knows. Noir-san wanted me to take over his role since he quit]]
Momiji shrugged, "Awww Kross-san you act like you don't even know me." he flipped his white hair out of his face, his pointed teeth flashing.
"Eh, I may not be the brightest, but we never have really duked it out now have we?" Momiji said as he waggled a finger in his ear as someone began to yell at him... more like it was two voices blurred into one.
"Hmphh... I didn't even notice him." He watching the nin try and blow the fiery bird out of the sky. "Well that was interesting." he watching the chakra ball travel across the sky. "Yeah like she said" he said jerking his thumb at Tsuki. "Besides he wouldn't be a predicament if he didn't think so highly of lighting stuff on fire..." he said turning his gaze on the fallen dragon and the wasted landscape. "I don't even know what to say about the bird..." He said scratching his head wondering if the bird had been a person. "So I'm under the impression the bird isn't a demon... or one of yours, but for all your talk it seems weird that he got beat by the bird and a bunch of weird ninjas. Well I mean yeah... four Bijuu beat down in a village is never a great ending, but still..."
Momiji turned to Tsuki whispering behind a white gloved hand. "All this yelling is giving me a headache... good luck Kross-san. I think I'll search out the eight tailed snake then, I don't imagine he yells quite as loud, yah know? I probably wont look the same next time you see me, but that shouldn't be a problem for you... now should it?" He said dispersing into the air, and leaving Tsuki to bond with the dragon.
