Silvertail was confused and then annoyed. What kind of cat disobeys orders so outrightly. Now the camp was much less guarded. How could they make them so vulnerable. But they couldn't do anything about that now. "Torrentstar can't be much longer now." She mewed encouragingly. He would know what to do.
((hey guys ... ah i can't find mooneye or dampfoot in thunderclan... i don't remember whether i ever actually got to post there or not. could someone let me know if you have a cat in Thunderclan. Were they found yet? Where are they? i can't find it O_o))

Torrentstar continued in the direction of Riverclan territory ... it was more difficult now, to have a sense of direction, no longer having Pebblefoot and also with the wind all but deadening his senses. But eventually the land started to shift downhill and it was easier to tell where they were. The sun was low by the time they reached the bridge. And Torrentstar realized how long he had been away and wondered what he had missed back home. He could smell Riverclan scent on the bridge and it was fresh. He wondered if they would run into a patrol. It didn't matter. He was happy, though that Dampfoot had kept up patrols even in his absence....
He crossed the bridge eagerly. And then turned to speak to Sandpaw again.
"You've been missed Sandpaw. Alot has happened in the two days you were gone." Torrentstar purred.
"I've apointed a deputy, Moonkit is now Moonpaw, and we have a medicine cat as well." Torrentstar was proud of all that had been accomplished, especially now that his apprentice was safe and back on Riverclan territory. "I'm sure everyone back home will want to hear your story as well. I'm pretty anxious myself." He said as their pace quickened again in pursuit of reunion as well as rest and food.
((finally! omg so tomorow we're having a gathering right! that's what i'm planning on.))

Ooc:// I feel absolutely horrible. This gathering was supposed to happen tonight... and I have done a thing. I will take it upon myself to make the gathering forum now and I will have the gathering last a week.

Silvertail paced impatiently across about a foxlength of earth. Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. She had no idea of the whereabouts of about 8 of her clanmates and a deep panic was starting to seep into her mind like the icy cold that came with a frostbitten leafbare night was starting to seep through her paws, and up her legs, into her chest, wrapping around her heart and then....
No cat could ever have imagined her relief when she caught sight of that gray fur and then a trail of orange right behind him padding through the camp entrance. It warmed her right through to her whiskers. She bounded up to Torrentstar. "Oh finally! Torrentstar it's awful! We don't know what to do! They've been gone so long! And Sunpaw! Oh Starclan! Thank Starclan you're back.!" She purred and yowled at the same time. Her expression flashed from extreme worry to relief at ready intervals as she spoke, never actually getting a full sentence out. And then she noticed Sandpaw. "Oh Sandpaw! Oh Starclan! Thank Starclan you're back safe and sound as well! Oh Sandpaw how we've been worried!" She covered him with tender motherly licks. She remembered him when he was just a kit she had shared the nursery with his mother.
Torrentstar entered the Riverclan camp finally. And as soon as he did he could tell that something was wrong. His first clue was the way Silvertail came rushing up to him, the second was how empty the camp was. It seemed as though he had come upon an ancient abandoned clan camp. He listened warily to Silvertail although the rambunctious she-cat wasn't making much sense at all. He stopped her midsentence trying to stay calm as her mews got more and more rushed and mutilated. "OKAY OKay wait! Where is Dampfoot, Silvertail." Dampfoot, his deputy, the cat he'd trusted to keep the clan safe.
"Oh," Silvertail turned back to Torrentstar, "she's not here."
Torrentstar huffed, "I can see that Silvertail but where is she?"
"Umm well it's kind of a long story... but she put Rainfur in charge."
He was confused but he decided to just go with it until he found out what in Starclan was going on. "Well where is he?"
"He was here a moment ago."

Sandpaw purred, overly happy to see his clanmates again. It was overwhelming, but a relief to not have any more worries. But something was indeed wrong.
Rainfur's head snapped up. "Torrentstar!" he cried out, momentarily forgeting his troubles. Then the feeling returned. "Sunpaw fell into the river, Ravenfang tried to save her, but was too late. Dampfoot went with Mooneye over to the ThunderClan border to see if ThunderClan had seen our apprentice." he took in a deep breath, hoping he wouldn't start losing control. "Then, Ravenfang and Crystaleye got impatient and left in search for everyone else. I ran to stop them, but they refused to listen to me. I told them it was Dampfoot's direct orders to stay in camp, but they thought it was okay to just invade into ThunderClan territory." he scrapped the earth with his claws, still angry with his clanmates. "I'm sorry, Torrentstar..." he mewed, his head hung low. "I couldn't stop them. I hope this doesn't bring trouble amoung the clans now." he shifted his gaze to Sandpaw, giving him a friendly flick of his tail. He would talk to him more when he was finished with his leader.

Blindeye walked over to Sandpaw, and brushed her tail over his head. "Welcome back." She mewed, then turned to Torrenstar. "Rainfur reallly did try all he could to make them stay."

Torrentstar's now urgent gaze flickered from Sandpaw to Blindeye to Silvertail to Rainfur. He wasn't angry but he was still confused. "Wait, wait, how long have they been in Thunderclan?" The light was starting to fade in the sky. If something had happened. It would be difficult to find them now. And the cold that came with the night was starting as well. He tried to put it together in his head... Four cats where in Riverclan searching for Sunpaw, who fell in the river. One of them blind and 3 of them were some of Riverclan's best warriors... that may be enough to make Thunderclan infer invasion. "Mousebrains." he couldn't help but hiss under his breath. He understood the urgency of a cat falling into the river but they could have gone about crossing territories a little more witful.
Silvertail glanced at Rainfur nervously. It had been a while now. She could almost see the first stars in the sky. She knew that something wasn't right but could they afford to send more cats into Riverclan territory?

Rainfur shook his head. "It's been a little while... I'm not quite sure how long." he replied. He glanced at Silvertail, thankful for her support. He gave her a small smile, flicking his tail in thanks.

Torrentstar didn't take long to think about what to do. "Alright no one else is leaving the camp. We won't wait long but I don't want to leave the camp anymore unprotected, and I don't want to give Thunderclan any more reason to think we're trying to attack them. Four cats is enough to bring back one apprentice." He looked at the sun again, it was almost completley below the horizon now. "I'f they aren't back by the time the moon rises above the horizon ...Sigh... Rainfur and I will go to the border and see if there's any sign of them. He nodded to Rainfur to make sure they were in agreement. It felt wrong to relax at a time like this but he was so tired... and hungry. He turned around, "Oh and Sandpaw, eat and then get some rest you've had a long day as well."
Silvertail was not put at ease but she couldn't argue, it sounded like the best plan. She couldn't help but feel anxious though. Something was just...wrong. She prayed to Starclan that everything was alright on the other side of the territory line. She looked at Rainfur again. If he had to cross the boundary she didn't want him to get hurt...or Torrentstar. Starclan help us.

Rainfur nodded. "Perhaps you can catch something to eat while we're waiting." he mewed, noticing his leaders fatigue. He looked back at Silvertail, her eyes showed worry. "I'll be fine." he insured, resting his tail lightly on her pelt.
Sandpaw considered arguing, but decided not to give his leader anymore trouble. Although he had been sleeping the majority of the time he was in WindClan, it would feel good to sleep in his old den.

Owleye walked over to Torrenstar. "But what about the Gathering? RiverClan has to show up at the Gathering space!"

Oh no...the gathering Torrentstar turned around to face them again. He took in a deep breath. "If we can't find them before moonhigh, I will take Silvertail and Rainfur, and you'll have to tell them where we went if they come back." He said reluctantly. He noticed the slightly shocked look on Silvertail's face and he sighed again. "She is right Riverclan must make an appearance. But we won't leave until it is certain that we will not find the others.

Rainfur nodded, a little wary of the thought of only two RiverClan warriors with their leader at the gathering. "I wonder what Icestar will say..." he mewed.

It was almost moonhigh when Dampfoot got back to the Riverclan camp. She was out of breath as she ran in to find Torrentstar Silvertail and Rainfur getting ready to leave.
Torrentstar saw Dampfoot and his eyes widened in relief but then he realized she was alone and out of breath. He immediately assumed something was wrong. "Dampfoot what's wrong? Are you alright? Where are the others?" He mewed anxiously. His fur was on end he was ready to bolt into action at the sound of her voice.
Dampfoot took a deep breath and told the story quickly. "Sunpaw fell into the river and Mooneye went over into Thunderclan to try to find her, Mooneye got bit by a snake and Lionheart(?) helped me carry her to the Thunderclan camp to get help. There we found Crystaleye, Ravenfang, I don't know why they were there though, but Sunpaw was also safe inthe care of Leopardpelt. I ran back as fast as i could to tell you what happened. Icestar is going to take the other two to the gathering and we'll meet them there." By the time she finished she was out of breath again.
Torrentstar's fur flattened as he listened, realizing that his clanmates were all at least safe... for now, he would fetch them back as soon as the gathering was over, and thank Thunderclan. Thank Starclan we'll have Pebblefoot back tomorow. They were going to need her. "Thank you Dampfoot. Come on, we're late." ((So that's officially, Dampfoot, Torrentstar, Silvertail, Rainfur, Crystaleye, and Ravenfang... ok btw did you know we have requests to join the guild!=D ))
