The longer I wait to get a next-gen console, the cheaper they will be and the more selection of good games will be available. Right now... there's not a whole lot that I really feel I need to play yet.

i just know i'm dying for mgs4, prince of persia4, force unleashed (while i know this is on ps2, the version on ps3 looks badass) the soon to be released FFXIII, grand theft 4, etc etc...

Yeah, don't get force unleashed - it's a load of crap. Looks fun, but it's crap. Just remember the first Spiderman game for Playstation and add crappy skills and you'll have the right idea. Oh, and an uncontrollable camera.
