Rioushu shrugged. "I guess that's one way of looking at it, but tell me, if you were to add seasoning to a horribly bland steak, wouldn't it taste better?" Rioushu asked

This fight was getting overly repetitive, and the mentioning of steaks in the stands was starting to make him hungry. The creature mentioned he was one of many spirits that possessed the boy, and was one of the wiser of the spirits, hence why it was he that possessed him and not another.
"Tisht....hey you two, care to add some flavor to this fight? I'd hate for this to end with no one else watching...." Kurai asked, calling them out with a tinge of irritation and fatigue in his voice. Turing back to the eyeballs that were drawing him in, he pulled back and swung horizontally, aiming to cut the "frushniking" eyes in half.
"Ied methid frushnik, ied!"

The reality around the head began to swirl after the blow, and once it was over, the head was still as it were. Yet... both eyes were bleeding profusely. "Not quite... you'll need better than tha... ugh.." The beast fell to his knees and a quite an amount of blood was spat out. "Urgh.. the hell is with this body? It was fine a second ago." He stated, eyeing the red liquid in his left hand.

Kurai paused as his opponent dropped to his knees, eyeing him curiously. Mercy was not one of his forte's, but for knnow he waited to see the results of this inner conflict with the monster and the human.
Perhaps his body is losing too much blood...THAT has to be his weakness. If the host body dies, then the spirit itself is powerless. Maybe I can coerce him into returning the human to normal.
Flicking his wrist, his sword twirls, and is drawn behind him, readying for another strike if need be.

((sorry for taking so long. heh heh forgot. xD)) The creature shook off what of the pain he could and stood, turning to see the blade in front of his eyes. "Ehh.. you intending to use that on me? You forget what I've been doing to attacks like those?" He said with a smirked, the blood oozing over his black lips.

"Feh...it may have an adverse effect on your body, but it's making your eyes shed tears of blood." He said, as he drew up a small puddle of Cairo's blood that had dripped from his very blade, shaping it into a small thin knife. Outstretching his left arm he draws out a large sum of blood beside his palm, floating around in the shape of a large bulbous sphere of blood. In the meantime his right blood wing disassembles and takes on the shape of dozens of small knives and blades, and with the twitch of a single finger, they pierce the shpere to his left, gathering up within its liquid embrace.
"I've got a going away gift for you....I hope it's to your liking." He says, throwing out his arm and launching the sphere at an unfathomable rate of speed straight at Cairo.

The creature smirked, as he had thought about this outcome long before. The blood that was still on the creatures body, slowly began to flee inside of the black hole eye. As the last of the blood enter, the artificial darkness that covered his body began to revert inside the abyss. Slowly but sure, Kento's true being was revealed. He looked straight at his opponent with a slight smirk, then suddenly spat out the blood that the eye had taken up. He wiped what he could from his mouth and looked at Kurai and the attack that was being sent towards him. Kento reverted into his shadow and cruised along the ground towards Kurai. He jumped from his shadow into a raged attack, pulled off from the creatures last bit of control over him. He landed an attack that barely scathed Kurai's left arm and suddenly fell to the floor. Kento's eyes were closed shut, he had fallen asleep and was now unable to battle.

*Not long after the scene at the Caverns, Rake descended to the mountain and into the fighting arena through the tunnel acess. Finding the space constrictive on its wings, its grumbled quietly to itself until it emerged into the more open space of the arena proper. As it surveyed the area from the fringes, Rayth and Void appeared next to it*
Well well... a fighting arena. We're back Butch. What have I told you about calling me that? Good work back there. They dont get it, do they? No, and until they do this will be cake walk my blue skinned psychotic chum. Remeber this is not a world made on the old creed. There are no more Feragos. Do me a favour. Take this. Keep going through however many layers of rock it takes until you find lava. Then bring it back. Okie dokie then!
*Rayth bowed and faded down through the floor, while Void slinked over to Rake and hugged it. As Void did so, its body became like liquid and covered Rake before fading into its clothing.
Satisfied, Rake touched one of the pillars supporting the roof and again began to chant. Though here in the arena its rune seemed to make no odds, the greenery growing on the moutain went the same way as the other two areas Rake had attacked. Stepping back after a few minutes, the being then turned and headed back up the tunnel towards the outside air*

*Emerging back into the outside air, Rake was again caught up by its second in command, Rayth*
Here ya go boss. Just like you asked. By the way... they're closing down the seals. I know - I can feel it. And? Tell me the wealth of Wyrms and Dragons once again. 'In first part fed the Wyrms, gorged and bloated on their games. In the second supped the dragons, with blazen tongues aflame. Slower than their siblings, they eek out a longer name' Precisely. Im not concerned and if they think that will make me leave, they have another think coming. Hehehe.... PLEASE let me and Azazel play... We'll see, Smiler. We'll see.
*It then took the returned cylinder from Rayth and tucked it into the belts it wore across its hips, before strolling lesuirely back down towards the settlement below, avoiding the various people now moving about the island in various directions with views to trying to stop it*

"--Redecorating some more, I see," Gatz said, stepping out onto the arena floor. "You know, I really doubt that Aonice will be happy about this. Dark, ominous presences tend to cut down on tourism quite a bit."
"I should know," he continued with a chuckle, "it's been an unfortunate experince of mine on several occasions."

"... Seems that Martha Stewart may have finally met her match in evil decorators," Gatz said with a chuckle. He shrugged. "Well, I was planning to ask Bleu to fix everything when I was done anyways, so I suppose that this won't too much of a difference."
With that, Gatz turned on his heel and walked out.

*Arriving at the tunnel access, Rake paused for a second to smirk at the moutainsides dull and deteriorated state. This had been the one seal no one had tried to shu down and thus its work here would be much easier. Slipping down the tunnel, wings once again cramped against its sides, it sought out the pillar it had inscribed its rune onto. The rune itself glowed ore brightly now than ever, despite the distance of the shifted wyrm lines*
Whe'er there is lava, there is always a wyvern.
*It fished around in its belts for the cylinder it had secreted there ages ago after its first visit to the moutain. Opening the cap, it shielding its eyes from the bright light which leaked out, three brilliant drops falling to the base of the pillar.*
One for the physical world and all it laws, Two for flora and fauna and all of creation, Three for death and its barred doors.
*The light show of the previous two sites was re-enacted here too, the purple light of Rake's eyes taking over the lower half of its body too now, leaving hoof shaped purple rings of power on the floor breifly after each step it took. Filled with the power it needed, it now headed back to its shrine to complete the ceremony and finally get some answers*

Mandy, however, and again, was in it's way. She took in the rather colorless sight of the island and it's foliage behind the beast, and raised a brow, "Allright, after whatever it is your doing with this island, you will return it to normal once your done." She spoke rather imperitivly. "I really can't make any use of such barren land. "

Dante had followed Rake here as well, and just as all the past times, it was in silence. This time, however, what induced the silence was different. Before, he had merely allowed Rake to do it’s work without interruption. Now, however, he was trying to figure out for himself why he was helping the being. As Rake had said, Dante had never really gotten along with the host before. For that matter, he had never gotten along well with Take either. Yet here he was, helping the being that resulted from a fusion between the two beings. Perhaps it was that he felt he could repay the favor from the previous Halloween in this way, or maybe it was just the fact that it seemed much more logical to side with Rake in this rather than the likes of Gatz and Quint.
Things were going smoothly with Rake’s little “ceremony” at first, but once again the girl from the caverns appeared along with her demands. Dante already knew she was there; possibly before Rake, possibly not. Regardless, he knew Mandy was there before she spoke. Though he hadn’t seen much of Mandy prior to this visit and the last, he could already tell that if it came down to a battle of ego’s between her and Rake … well, he didn’t want to state a winner of that battle at this point, but they would be there for a good while before the finish at any rate. Thus, he decided to step in verbally at this point. Mandy’s forceful request had given him an idea anyway.
“You do us a solid, and we will do you a solid.”
Ripped right from a Stephen King move. He couldn’t remember the name at this point, but he did recall that it took place in a hospital. Despite where the quote had come from or who had originally said it, it’s meaning was a sort of convoluted clear. If Mandy wanted a favor, and what she had demanded was a favor whether she wished to acknowledge it or not, she would have to grant them a favor first. Furthermore, Dante had just the favor in mind. One that would work out very well not only for Rake, but also for Dante himself.
