Miyon laughed wih him..
"oh yea, i almost forgot your still part feline. when we reach the floor, i need to get something you have to give to kioko okay? i recently found it last month and i think she would be happy" Miyon said looking upwards

"ok" he said, still purring. he climbed the wall quickly, but not too fast to throw her off. he reached the window and climbed inside. "hey, um. do you think you could ever find something to make me human again? being a leopard boy is all fine, but i cant even go to school like this."

Miyon looked contemplative. she then rushed out of the room and came back in holding a big old looking book with acient writing on it.
"here, i know oyu cant read it, but i'm pretty sure Kioko can. its that last book that Ryo was holding when they captured him. I found it, in a secret crevice. probably Ryo hid it there. please had it to her. it might have something to help you" Miyon said handing it to him.
she then turned around and heard noises.
"i have to go, be careful okay?" She then rushed out of the room, trying to not look suspicious.

he turned and leapt out the window with the book under his arm. he landed in a tree and ran down the trunk head first on three of his paws/hands. near the bottom, he jumped out of it and sped back toward where they had been living. once there, he called out for kioko. "hey kioko, i got something for you from a friend of yours. come on out. im better too by the way, your friend said i was hyper like a kitten, hahah"

kioko was in the small cavern when she felt Max's Ki reading come closer to the hideout. She then faintly heard him yelling her name. So she gathered the mushrooms and brought them outside with her looking at Max.
"hey, watsup about a book and a friend?" She asked

After a few minutes of searching Crow found his files, luckily he'd never had a name aside from Crow. He gave them a quick once over but didn't actually read to find anything interesting. He wanted to see about one more thing, after the regular alphabet there were quite a few files with individual cabinets, he felt that if he were lucky, maybe he could find something useful in those. He's been in the room awile now though, so as he went through the files he took extra care to pay attention to his surroundings.

he padded over to her happily. "miyon told me to give this to you. she said your brother was holding it when he was captured, and that there might be something in there that can turn me human again. isnt that great?!" he held the book out to her. he was definately a lot more happy and also hyperactive since the last time she had seen him. his tail was lashing back and forth as if it were trying to stir up a breeze.

The first thing Kioko took notice was Max didnt look like a complete feline anymore. And then she noticed the big thick book that he was holding. it looked super old.
"No way! you met Miyon-chan!?! H-how is she!!? is she okay?" kioko said bombarding Max with questions while taking the book from him.
She was smiling so big as her hands outlined the spine of the book.

"shes doing great. she helped us get out of some trouble, and she also helped us find the file vault. strobe stayed back to wait for crow while i helped get miyon back inside. they should be back soon." he was still smiling big and some of his fangs were showing

Kioko took the book and smiled, at least she knew her friend was okay.
"hey, you dont look that much like a feline no more" Kioko said looking at Max
"did you find a potion or something?"
Kioko knew that Strobe and Crow were risking it, but she was there to back things up if it got any worse

"yeah. she said i was funny cuz im hyper. i think its just cuz i dont have to worry about hurting everybody anymore. do you think im hyper? i dont notice a difference." he stopped and too a deep breath, then started laughing like a kid. actually, he was a kid, this was just the first time in a long time where he actually got to act like one. it was a big relief to him now that he didnt scare himself.

Kioko just laughed at him. She toohad almost forgot what i was like to be a kid. after all she was only 16 years old.
"haha, thats funnie, you actually act hyper like a kid for sure!" She said placing her herbs she recieved down on the flat stone she prepared before.
"so do you kno when Strobe and Crow get back?" kioko said changing the subject

Miyon walked out of the bathroom nervously dusting her skirt. She had tried so hard to not look suspicious, but she was still going to be nervous.
As she turned the corner to her office room, she was pushed against the wall by a very pissed looking Kamuri
"Where the hack have you been! Have you NO IDEA how long we've been searching!?!" he said screaming at her
Miyon winced at the noise
"u-um, i checked that one room l-like i said i would" She said replying.
"really? then how come you 'left' your clipboard there?" Kamuri said holding out her clipboard
"-GASP- I've been looking for that! as soon as i got up here, i realized it was missing and was looking for it!" Miyon said grabbing her board.
"oh, very well then, i'm glad you're okay" Kamuri said pushing up his glasses and heading down
miyon sighed a breath of relief as she walked back to her office. Kamuri on the other hand, took the elevator down and walked along the corridor towards the boss's room. he needed to get the papers that the boss wanted him to recieve and he said it was an urgent matter. As he walked past the room where all the files were kept, Kamuri thought he sad something move in the shadows. But that was impossible right? those guards have been there all day. he put his hand on the knob and tried opening it, but he decided to put it off until AFTER he got the papers for fear of the boss getting mad.

Strobe sat, controlling his impatience. By all means, they should have left, so great was the danger. But, then again, it was his fault that they were still here, and that Crow was risking his life. And so he sat, waiting for Crow to get back.

As he searched through the files Crow's eyes flashed over to the door with quick precision as a presence passed by, luckily it seemed that it was all that the person intended on. He quickly went back to work, searching through the files, finally he glanced over something that looked like the information they needed. He picked it up and slipped it into his jacket along with the rest of the files, then focused on his abilities again. He was able to activate it with less effort this time, and so he slipped out of the room. It would be easier this time, as there were fewer people in the halls, and he didn't get lost as much as he had the last time. He eyed around the room with the secret passageway, no one was immediately in the room, so he allowed his state to decellerate and snuck back into the passageway. When he got to the room he noticed that only Strobe remained there, but he was sure that the others were okay. He unzipped his jacket a bit and showed the edge of the folders the files were in to Strobe.

Kamuri walked towards the door to the files room again, this time intending on opening it to see what was in there. As he opened the door, he could see notihng but the file cabinets neatly in their place.
"must be hallucinating" Kamuri said shaking off the feeling and headed back to the fifth floor, where he would keep a close eye on Miyon.
"speaking of rooms, remind me to get the one that we ransaked in fixed" Kamuri said making a note to himself

Back at the 'hideout' Kioko looked towards the direction of the Laboratory and sighed a breath of relief as she felt Crow's and Strobe's Ki energy in the same room, hoprfully trying to get out of the place.
"do they know about the exit behind the bookcase in that room?" Kioko asked Max
