Ryu smiles "true, I do hate to let such a unique and beautiful prize such as yourself good without trying to gain you, and nod I'll soon have a wife, and my first children."

I would have mobilized my troops and sought out the cause of the deaths, upon finding you, I'd have likely used my magic to captures you." He says to her.

Ryu listens to her little story then nods. "I see, well to bad for the other guy I was in your path. Given you a child, and spoil you to seemingly no end. Oh and of course, confessed my growing love for you." he smiles and then gives her a kiss.

She laughed and kissed him back, "good thing I hated the guy and wasn't desperate to go to him. Or I'd be long gone.... maybe."

He chuckles and stands, scooping her up in his arms. "A good thing indeed." He then carries her out of the library and then sets her on the ground once more. "Shall we check up on Kari before I go tend to my Bonzai?"

She smiled and relaxed as he carried her. "She's probably all ready out there. Since we left her she probably woke up and wandered off again."

Ryu smirks a bit and says "probably." As he leads her back out into the garden, her remark about Kari was true. The big cat had wandered outside and was laying near a larger clutch of bamboo. Ryu shakes his head with a smile and moves to tend to his Bonzai.

Lyoko laid herself out on the grass in the warm sunlight. (Writers block)

Kari sees the two and moves over to Lyoko, rubbing her head against Lyoko as she purred. Ryu meanwhile took up a pair of pruning sheers and begins to inspect his Bonzai, trimming here and there .

Lyoko pet Kari's head as she layed downnext to her. Kari purred warmly and curled up against Lyoko's side.

Once Ryu had finished with trimming the bonzai he heads over to join Lyoko and Kari. He has a seat next to them, reaching one hand over to scratch behind kari's ears.

Kari rubbed her head against his hand and Lyoko smiled at him warmly. "Kari has grown very attached to you. Be happy about that or I'd be in trouble for getting pregnant." She laughed a little and moved closer to Ryu.
