"Hey Becky." Sari said stepping towards Asako and matching her sneer. "Heard you were out with Tim last night. You better stay away from him." Sari finished threateningly as Faithful hissed a little getting into the act.

((Sorry I haven't posted! ... College apps... crying I really have no idea where we are so I'll try to make a general post.))

Edit:

Luc's plan of sneaking in seemed to be unfulfilled. It was a nice day... Who could blame him for missing three classes...

Checking his schedule, he saw that his last class was runes. As it was his favorite subject, he actually decided to go. The previous class was still in session so he sat outside, opening 'City of Bones' once more.

Jake was busily scribbling in his notebook and reluctantly reached under his desk to heave up the heavy Alchemy -- criteria-based -- book and flipped it open to the first chapter. It was labeled, "How to be Safe when Working with the Wonders of Alchemy"

Oh how intriguing... He thought while letting an exaggerated sigh release itself from deep in his chest. He propped up his elbow on the desk so he was towering over the book and began reading about simple measures of safety when a wad of paper seemed to float straight up from the ground. It then moved parallel to the floor and hovered over his desk, barely.

The young man was too fascinated to care about hiding the note as it slowly made crinkling sounds. The ball unfolded into a crumpled piece of paper -- normal notebook sized paper. He curiously looked it over, thinking that it was simply a blank piece of parchment. It was then that his eyes fell upon handwriting smaller than his own. It seemed to be slanting a bit and was fairly neat. This immediately made Jake jump to the conclusion that it was a girl - the slanted writing - but who would want to write to him?

The note read: Hi there! Is everything ok?

He didn't know what to think of the appearance of the secret note. It wasn't signed or anything (or so he thinks -- it could be if Anne/Selphie so chooses). Deep purple eyes probed the room in search of the unknown person. There were some people that he recognized from the day before, but he didn't see anybody that could have, or probably would have sent the note to the likes of him.

Jake leaned back in his chair, letting the book fall onto his lap followed by the note (the book is on his lap, but also being propped on the edge of the desk at a 45 degree angle most likely). His pencil quivered over the paper unsure of how he would be able to let the note return to its owner, but he wrote in a scribble-y, yet not messy, handwriting.

Uh, hey. I think things are fine... but before I keep writing, do you mind telling me who you are??

He had written his message two lines below Anne's and crumpled the paper up again hoping that somehow the wad would just disappear from his palm.

((As far as I know, Luc, we are still in our third class and the bell to signal the end hasn't sounded quite yet.))

Asako grinned mentally, keeping the confident sneer on her face. She's pretty good. Guess she's only new to the class, not acting. Either that, or she's just talented. Makes it easier...Cat was a nice touch, too...must be her familiar.

"So you heard about that, mm?" she said, examining her nails with great detail. "But I don't see why you have any right to tell me to stay away from him. Tim told me what a sissy you are--you won't be able to do much about it."

She looked over at Kuragari. She's pretty quiet. Time to get her involved... "Right?" she asked the vampire. "She's your friend, so you must know how big a pain she is. Like this one time Tim told me about: she say him talking to his cousin--his cousin--and ran home crying!" she laughed coolly. "Poor dear. It's no wonder Tim took pity on you...!"

((Luc, I can totally understand about college apps--I'm fighting the same battle myself. But, Surf_dude's right: it's still the middle of third period.))

Anne kept her eyes on Jake, watching him read the letter and look around. He didn't seem to notice her, however, and the teacher was near by, so she couldn't exactly call th boy's attention either.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw him write something on the paper and crumple it. "Good" She thought, making the paper roll, falling from the boy's hand onto the ground, were it continued in her direction throughout the classroom floor. A lot more discreet than having it flying around.

When it finally reached her, the girl read it and barely stifled a laugh. She hadn't even thought he wouldn't know it was her. Just then, the professor started walking through the classes, making sure everyone was immersed in the reading of the rules, and looking intently at her. Appearing engaged in the reading of the token, the girl sighed, thinking of a new strategy.

Then, with a mischievous smile, she found the answer. From her place, she had a clear view of Jake's table. So, it wasn't hard for her to pick up his pencil, and using it to write on the very book he was holding. "Sorry, it's Anne. You weren't in Languages...we'll talk more after class." The brunette smirked, imagining him staring at the self-moving pencil. Too bad she couldn't see his face...

The paper was in his hand one moment and the next... the almost weightless paper tumbled to the ground. Jake didn't feel the note leave his hand but when it hit the ground, it sort of made a mini shockwave of impact on the ground that he picked up immediately -- even though it made relatively no sound at all.

The teen had just been finishing a page. He turned it and started reading the top of the next page and nonchalantly let his eyes follow the paper as far as they could. When the paper went out of sight, for some reason, he could still hear it tumbling through the dust on the floor. It came to a rest. Nobody moved throughout the room.

The boy was still discreetly gazing in the direction his letter went. He thought that he saw a familiar bob of brown hair across the room. He didn't bother being discreet now. Just turn your head He thought trying to clarify if it was really Anne -- the girl that he had met the other day.

His right ear twitched making his head snap towards the strange scrawling noise. The wooden #2 pencil was moving on its own accord. In that exact scrawling handwriting, appearing in his book, a message began forming in the margins. Jake didn't mind masking his amazement. How is she doing this? He stole another look in the direction in which the supposed-Anne was sitting. She wasn't even moving! The brunnette seemed deeply engrossed in reading. He averted his eyes back to the levitating pencil.

S-o-r-r-y. Sorry. I-t-'-s-A-n-n-e. Aha! I was right! He mentally pumped his fist in the air in victory. You weren't in Languages...we'll talk more after class.

He stole another look at Anne. She still looked like she was locked into her book. The student was about to continue reading again when he thought he saw the edges of the girl's mouth perk. Yup, that's her alright... I'll need to ask her about that later even if I have to force it out of her...

This time it was his turn to chuckle. He couldn't even imagine hurting anybody! Eh, he'd find a way to get her to tell him. Probably just asking nicely would work well. Jake gave himself a mental affirmative and went back to reading.

((Hey, Selphie? I was wondering, is this format of the classroom desks or tables?? Because I was thinking it was sort of like the desk/chair compound thingies and I wasn't sure what you were thinking. I'm not meaning to change your opinion, I'm just wondering ^^))

Kuragari decided to take the offence, after all it's what she's good at. "Well Becky I don't really think that's any of your business. SO why don't you get your whorish self out of here and get back on your corner. I'm sure there's a guy out there you haven't selpt with yet." Throwing a smirk into it she pointed towards the audience in a lazy manner to express her point more.

((I have no idea. I've been imagining tables with separate chairs - but the format you mentioned is fine as well...^_^ And I guess I have nothing to roleplay at the moment...:'( lol))

Just then, the bell rang, signaling students that it was time to change classes. All manner of kids poured out of their last class, excited at the prospect of having only one class left today.

Those students who had Philosophy walked in to find Lady Silverspring waiting at the front, with the desks arranged in a circle. Once everyone had settled themselves, she spoke in her ringing voice. “This is the second day, and the second half I have to give you a good idea of this what this class entails. Writing is one half, but the far larger part is seminar discussions from the class as a whole. Today’s topic: ‘Does the part that emotions play in our lives affect us positively or negatively. Anyone can start--but remember: this is for a grade.”

When those who had Runes last period walked into their class, they saw Mr. Enadhol waiting for them with his characteristic shark-like grin. “Welcome back, students.” He said. “Today I’m going to have you put those reference sheets to work. I have here several copies of short poems written in runes; your job is to translate them and see if you can find the Human Realm piece of verse they correspond with. Ready? Let’s go.”

Once the kids in Sculpture arrived in class, they saw their teacher, a lithe man in his early twenties, with a mess of blonde hair and clay all over his arms, waiting for them; lounging in the front seat. “Hey!” he said in an excited voice. “I’m Mr. Iwanaga, and I’m your Sculpture teacher, mm. Today I’m going to turn you loose and see what you can come up with on your own--art always works best that way, yeah? But first, a few basic techniques for the newbies…”

((Again: exams. You won’t be seeing much of me for the next two weeks, so be nice for my wonderful co-mods. I’ll be on later today or early tomorrow to get Asako out of the way for a while. ;D See you in two weeks!

BTW, anyone who can figure out who Mr. Iwanaga is based off gets a cookie. xD (I love you, xLeaveMeLonelyx!!) ))

((Not enough time to put up a full-sized post, also waiting for selphie/keru, but I have an answer to your question. Is it Deidara-sama?!?! >.< It sure sounds like him wink ))

Kuragari spun around and look up at the bell like she was going to blow it up or something.

Mr. Myr stepped foward and said, "well students it's time to go, we'll leave off here for now and continue tomorrow. You three did very well, I'll see you all tomorrow."

Sighing Kuragari turned back to Asako, "Well Asako-chan I guess Ill see you at lunch I got music. Bye SariI'll see you at lunch aswell since I'm sure your going to join us. I wont take no for an answer now." Kuragari hopped she sounded nice and not threatening. Man this was hardder then she thought. Waving one last time she took off for class.

Miss Sheatiel greeted her as she came in and took her seat calmly at the back of the room. Miss Sheatiel bowed gracefully, smiling, and her calming aura flooded about the place. “Welcome once more, my students.” She said warmly. “Today we shall be choosing instruments. We at Artemis stress stringed ones, but anything else would be more than acceptable. Well, shall we begin…?”

Kuragari looked over at the instruments that were sitting out to be picked. 'Well I can play the sax well but maybe I should try something new.' Scanning the instruments her eyes caught sight of a voilin that caught the light with a glow all it's own.

Grabbing it quickly she carefully lifted it to her chin as she recalled watching the violinist had sounded in the park at last years concert. Slowly she tuned it and lifting the bow played a few low notes that rolled off well. 'It still sound like the singing of a choir of angels.' Going back to her seat she began looking over the instrument.

(I agree it sounds like Deidra)

((I have no idea whatsoever. And I feel you, Asako - I'm in exam season myself. Had one today, next one is the day after tomorrow. College sucks.))

After what seemed an eternity, the bell rang. Anne sullenly raised from her seat, closing the heavy, dusty token on the desk. The sudden sound of books closing and chairs dragging awoke Cassio with such a start he leaped a whole foot in the air, to great amusement of his owner.

The moronic class had given the girl way too much time to dwell on her troubles, making her quite sad. Fighting against those feelings, Anne decided to keep active and talkative, and her gaze rested Vincent, making her hesitate in whether to approach him or to leave him be. Finally, she settled by giving him a warm smile, queuing him to come to her if he wished. She didn't want to impose on anyone, after all.

In alternative, she headed to Jake, her mischievous grin back. "Hi there, skipper!" She leaned against the boy's desk "You're looking quite pale, you know?"

Sari jumped a little when the bell rang. She hadn't expected class to end so soon. It kind of surprised her how much she had enjoyed herself. "Bye Kuragai, Bye Asako! I'll see you both later!" She called as she went towards her next class.

"Bye girls!" Faithful called. Although it had sounded like mewling to them before both girls could clearly understand him now.

Sari walked into the Philosophy class room eagerly, hoping that this class would be as fun as the last one had been. As per her usual routine, she took a seat in the back so her wings wouldn't get in anyone else's way.

((Deidara is right!! My sister is on a huge Deidei kick...and I'm kinda feeling it, too. (The fic helps.)

Just here to get Asako out of the picture; remember to behave! ;D))

Asako jumped when the bell rang. She had gotten so into character, it was almost like she really was "Becky the Boyfriend Stealer". So it was quite a shock to have been brought so suddenly back into reality. She walked off the stage and gathered up her things.

She waved a 'bye!' and smiled as her two scene-mates left, mind still a little 'off'. She wasn't quite centered in the present yet. It was one of the biggest drawbacks of being able to get so into character--it took a while before reality felt right again.

Stepping out of Drama, she made her way to the Music room, wondering what she would do today. It also made her more cheerful that this was the class where she would see Acarian.

Walking down to the stairs, she let her mind wander. What would she say when she saw Acerian? She had no idea...but there was no doubt that what they had gone through yesterday had definitely cemented their bond. It was both because of her 'transition', and her wandering mind, that half-way down the stairs, her heel caught the edge of a stair, and she was sent tumbling down the last seven stairs.

She lay on the ground, and suddenly felt a shooting pain in her left ankle. The kids around her who had been laughing at the "clumsy fox-girl" suddenly realized something was wrong when Asako tried to stand up, and felt her ankle crumple under her.

After that, she couldn't think about much else besides the pain. She remembered being rushed to the hospital wing, and something the nurse said about a sprained ankle and needed to stay overnight, but mostly she felt angry at herself.

The biggest reason was that she had been having a wonderful day, and now that had been ruined. But there was also the disappointment of missing her friend, who she had not seen all day. For all she knew, he was still badly hurt! And she wouldn't get to see her friends at lunch or dinner! She hadn't had a good chat with Anne since two days ago! She lay on the bed in the hospital wing, and tried to keep bitter tears from her eyes.

((Of course, Asako-chan has to go out with a bang. xD Feel free to come visit me after school, but only once I'm done with exams. See ya!))

((sorry i haven't posted for an age. loads of stuff has been happening to me. still, im back now!))

Aqua rushed out of archery, and into runes. Her wings were folded behind her back, and she slid into the back of the class on the left, the black and gold bangles on her arm chiming as she sat down.
she was glad that it would be this lesson, then she could go back to her dorm and see who her new roomie was. 'and avoid more evil creatures that want to eat me.' she thought drolly.
She shivered at her teacher's shark-like grin - it reminded her forcibly of the dragon that had tried to eat her last night why do my thoughts keep straying back to that dragon? i have the strangest feeling that, despite what acarian did, he's still close.' she frowned and forcibly turned her thoughts from it, looking down at her sheets and sucking the end of her quill, a feather that ember had shed, as she translated the runes into normal script.
