Missing00 Carthson Blikk I'm saving all money for the Resident Evil 5 Collector's edition...then Halo wars...then this summer, Alpha Protocol. What's Alpha protocol? Sounds like a DLC Alpha Protocol is going to be an RPG (kinda like mass effect from what I've seen...as for game engine, anyways) about a CIA Field Agent named Michael Thorton...I don't know about the plot so much, though.

It's not Booty Arcade's fault. They just host the things. It's the " companies " that make 'em that don't tell you until you've reached the end of it that it's just the demo half the time.

I'm getting pretty excited about RE 5. The "the game is racist" hubub is bothering me a bit though. If they set the game in Africa, the people are going to be black. People didn't freak out when Leon killed Spanish crazies, but because they're black, everyone is freaking out. It seems to me the real racists are the people making a big deal about it based on the color of the characters' skin...

That's been a trend of recent generations. The focus on being anti-bigoted leads to a sense of hypersensitivity, which in itself, is just as bigoted as it once was. Instead of insulting people directly over race, gender, etc, now people try to prevent instead of cure, leading to them focusing on issues that were once peaceful, now 'potentially insulting'.
It's like political correctness. it's only insulting to the people who have no real right to be insulted in the first place.

Seriously, this goes into current events as well, everyone was all "Holy Crap Obama's Black! Dude! Black President! Whoah!"..making a huge deal about Obama being (half) black just made our country seem quite a bit racist. Who gives a damn if he's the first (half) Black president? I mean, if we're going on "firsts" we could say he's the first president from whatever street he grew up on. He's the first president with a middle name that some close-minded person might compare to Saddam.
