I saw the little they had at Comic con, second hand of course, looks like SFIV with Ryu and Kazuya, but then support supers by Chun-li and Nina.

Well, they will take notable moves and make them specials, like the Frankensteiner or teleporting. The unblockables could become focuses, prune away some of the extra moves. As for Ultras, maybe use very notable powerful moves or famous combos. The SF version won't have wall combos or big juggles. It can be done, I think it's be fine. The Tekken version, well, might need more tweaking, add some moves for the SF, might be have some disadvantages for them, but they might tip it in their favor with their specials.

I imagine when namco makes theirs...they will remove the projectile attacks for the SF characters. I won't like it.

They probably would have to keep em, you can sidestep em, they might slow them down, have a high start up and recovery, and you'll be able to block them. It's part of their iconic status. Might only be usefull at a distance, completely useless right next to them, and unlike Jinpachi, won't be over powered unblockable Kaiser wave that will automatically teleport back. Against a SF, they can neutralize them with the techniques they have been using, against a Tekken character, might make some of there moves able to neutralize the attacks. Like Yoshi's spit, or the Mishima's electric attacks. They might be useless, I mean you stay up close for the most part in a Tekken game, so you'll be close enough to jab them out of it more than likely. Many reasons they can keep them.

They will adapt the Street Fighters to Tekken, not the other way around. They are going to keep the engine, they'll keep the techiniques, they won't change the Tekken characters in any big way, they will change Ryu and the crew to fit into Tekken. Like they won't jump so high, won't have supers or ultras, they will add moves to make them play like Tekken characters, the Tekken version will be just like Tekken, and the Street Fighter version will be just like Street Fighter. I just foresee the Gief being really powerful, the fact he can use his grabs for major damage and he has more than anyone else in SF, can cover ground with banishing flat and double lariat, might make for some awesome juggles, and if they give him his ariel Russian, then damn, he could grab them out of the air for a throw at the very end. Plus want to beat on Marduk with him, have someone that's bigger and badder than him.

That's because SF IV created an engine that made it really ******** easy for grapple characters to pwn.

I can honestly say that SF IV hasn't topped III: Third Strike. The pinnacle 2-D fighter to me.

SF III, nothing can beat it. I'm glad Gief gets some time to shine, grappling has always been a less traveled path.

I can vouch for that. Spookykidd sucks at Street fighter...and Soul calibur...and Marvel Vs...

anyway, I'd never leave if i went on the games he sucks at.

I had this gamer night...at least it turned into that while tron was getting a new tattoo. I met some...interesting people. All of them saw my fighting games that I had and fought me.

Soulcalibur IV...26 wins no losses

Super Street fighter II HD Remix...15 wins no losses.

Street fighter IV...12 wins no losses.

Marvel vs Capcom 2...20 wins no losses.

Apparently I rock at fighting games.
