It appears that a Vizard's Resurrecion switches a Vizard to the hollow side, and shuts down the Shikai and Bankai, otherwise Tousen would have used Enma Korogi and screwed Koma and Hisagi over.
After all, Resurrecion are the Arrancar's return to their former selves, not an actual release like Shikai... So if he did that, Yama would just step the ******** in and light his sorry a*****e on fire.
And I'm still of the opinion that Benihime's Bankai will be able to stop a heart...

I sat it gives hims control of all blood in the body of someone he slashes and then he just sits their cyphoning blood from the opponents brain, or filling small pockets with excess blood until they burst destroying their muscular system piece by piece.

I disagree with Resurreccion canceling out shikai or bankai, though I feel horrible for who I am using as an example in my argument.
Tousen didn't use Enma Korogi because inside it is a black sphere, he would not have been able to see for that reason and he was too enthralled with his sight to attempt losing it.
Also, when Ichigo entered his resurreccion he still held his Bankai sword. It didn't revert to that sword he held at the beginning of the series, which is what would have happened is shikai and bankai were canceled out.

I also believe that Benihime's Bankai will control blood, which in itself would also make stopping a heart possible. It could also cause a mass of other things to be possible, such as suffocating and other things.

Actually... Tousen would be able to see in the sphere. The key thing about Enma Kōrogi that Zaraki turned into a weakness was the fact that anyone touching Suzumushi's hilt would be immune to Enma Kōrogi effects. If he could hear, smell, taste, and feel in the sphere, why would he not be able to see with his new sight? How could you forget about that, it was so important in that fight! gonk
Who said anything about that form being Ichigod's Resurrección? To me, that form was him fully assimilating with Shirosaki. And even if it was, I'd call Ichigod the exception to the rule, as he seems to be the exception to every damn rule in the book. Tiny Bankai, Bankai in three days, random power ups, still has Reiryoku after taking a Senka, etc, etc, etc, *insert plotkai* etc.

But did Zarakai regain his sight in the sphere? or just his other senses?
I forget. xD
I didn't think he got his sight back. Just the other senses, and he already had Tousen so close so there was no problem there. xD
Its been so long so I don't remember.

I still say Tousen was afraid he wouldn't be able to see....or when he gained the Arrancar powers he abandoned his shinigami powers.
Because he said he was afraid that he would die a shinigami....
So that's my only other guess.
