emotion_kirakira Oh look at the pretty pretty dress! Koji, wonderful dress! Also nice hair, I would love to see it in better light, so I could see the strawberry blond strip.
Cute babies need to be spoiled. Which basically means all babies need to be spoiled.
Also Koji, did you say Steampunk!? I love steampunk! I got an awesome pair of knee-high steampunk boots and a pair of goggles for Christmas! emotion_c8

@Steampunk: Everyone should watch this. End of story. [link]It's a funny little song~ @Batman: So I finally got my xbox to read the disc again by some more dumb luck, and I've been playing Arkam City all day. It's AMAZING. The gameplay is similar to Prototype and Assassin's Creed. There's a main quest, and a bunch of side quests that pop up when you get within the vicinity. The combat system is out of control though! It's so amazingly smooth and fluid that it beats out Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Revelations hands down. Also, I'm totally in love with the storyline~ Batman will forever be the only DC comic I fanboy over.

Well, that video just told me to look for gears, so...>_>; *doesn't get it*
Glad you got to play. I'm no gaming pro, but if my bf drools over Assassin's Creed the way he does and you're saying Batman's better than that by an uberload, that must be a friggin' awesome game tharr.

Oh Koji, I love the vid. Nari, the point isn't about gluing Gears to things. It is actually saying not to do that cause Steampunk isn't about gears.
Steampunk is a re-imagining of the past, Victorian past to be specific. For Christmas I got a book called the Steampunk: An Anthology. Filled with fanciful time stopping devices, reanimated corpses, flying machines, Victorian Manors, and the like.
That plus my goggles and boots, just made my Christmas! That plus my Nano. Now I really want to find a steampunk roleplay.

@ Nariana on games: Comparisons between games of different genres should be taken with a grain of salt. Example: If someone were to tell me that X game is better than Call of Duty: [insert subtitle here], that wouldn't be saying much to me. However, if someone said X game is better than Dwarf Fortress (a very difficult indie rougelike/simulation game I play) and has actually played DF and liked it, depending on what X game is I might just say 'Hold the phone, I must try this game'. I'm just a rougelike fanatic. Someone who's into FPS games wouldn't even consider the comparison to the roguelike/sim game but would consider the one to Call of Duty: [whatever here]. .... Although I believe Koji was just comparing the combat systems of the games. Lol reading comprehension. sweatdrop
@ Koji: I just realized that I need to get a new wired 360 controller and Fallout 3, New Vegas, and/or Skyrim. I am lagging so far behind on PC and console games it isn't funny anymore. I really wanna try Skyrim because Morrowind is fun but burns out my comp too quickly.
I found out the hard way that you can burn yourself from static electricity. There's a bubbled two-inch mark on my thigh that looks like an infected cat scratch but isn't. :T

Two subjects I never talk about...>~< *sigh*
@ Lioness: Thank you for that little explanation. It helped some.
@ waffle: ...I vaguely got the point of that. Talking video games to me is like talking to a wall with ears. >.>;

@ Nari: The first break-ups are always a b***h. They're a b***h to get over, but in time you always heal. You just need to give yourself some time- AND! Always remember that you CAN find someone/something much better than what you've had before. Sure, you don't always let go of your feelings for the last person you were with, and most of the time those feelings never really go away, but you can still move on. It's perfectly normal. I've been through more relationships than I would like to admit, and honestly it never gets any easier. My last relationship lasted 3 - 4 years, so you can imagine how torn up I was over it. . But I got past it, and now I've got someone much better. I'm happy- we're happy. It's all good. You'll be alright. . You may be in pain now, but you're going to be alright. Just don't push yourself too hard, remember to breathe, and just keep in mind that you will get through this. . [Hugs] You'll be alright.

@Lioness: Thank you for explaining that for me~! I thought the video was great when I saw it. Also, I'm so jealous of your Christmas gifts, lol! I'd love to get a book like that to get some inspiration.. I've been meaning to make some steam-punk accessories/jewelry for a while.
@Waffle & Nari about games: I think Nari had basically the right idea of what I meant.. Assassin's Creed and Arkham are very similar games. Now that I think about it they're almost identical other than storyline, setting, and a few other noticeable gameplay differences. Both main characters rely on stealth and sneaking around rooftops, you get a mini-map with locations of main quests and side quests that don't activate until you interact with the start point in that area so the game doesn't have to be entirely linear. Open combat relies heavily on counter strikes and dodging... etc All of the games I mentioned were basically the same style of game and are games I thoroughly enjoyed. But, you were right in that the only part I was saying was better in Arkham compared to the others was the combat system. The stories are much different so you can't really compare them... being a Batman geek I enjoyed seeing a new Batman story play out. I thought it did a good job bringing in elements from the series. The Assassin's Creed storyline is very interesting and deals with historical fiction and plot twists, so they're both good in their own ways.
@Fallout/Skyrim: Foxi said Fallout was a great game, but she hasn't stopped drooling over Skryim since it came out. She seriously hasn't removed it from her 360 since the day it was released. I love Skyrim too, mostly for the character creation, but I'm kind of obsessed with character design. The only other Elder Scrolls I played was Oblivion, and I didn't find any of the side-quests very interesting other than the Shivering Isles expansion which I loved to pieces [I never finished and rarely played any of the main quest either]. I seem to be enjoying Skyrim much more, the leveling system has changed greatly, and you aren't limited to main skills that you select at the start of the game. It lets you level the skills you use most as you figure out how you like to play, which is nice. Then there's the fact that they didn't recycle any dungeons, so all the caves/dungeons/ruins/what have you are unique. Also, the Dragons are an interesting touch. They're unscripted, and can be a little unpredictable at times. Foxi and I both seem to have a problem of unintentionally luring them into small towns and having them wreak havoc.
@Arkham City: I got so into the story that I beat the game in 3 days, lol... all day Wednesday, then Thursday night and Friday night. @~@; the game was amazing.. the last few quests totally threw me for a loop. Also, I'm so glad I got the game new, because it came with the Catwoman expansion. Her storyline made me happy, and she was so fun to play as. She's such a little badass, I love her so<3
@Inactivity: I worked my official last day at the thrift store on Friday, then I spent the majority of New Year's Eve with Foxi, spent the night, and the majority of the New Year's Day with her as well. Today, I was spending time with one of my other besties who I won't be seeing much of when I move this Wednesday, and tomorrow I'm spending the whole day cleaning out my room and packing up what I need to take with me. I probably won't be on again until this weekend.
@Nari: aw.. D: I'm so sorry to hear that! I hope it wasn't too bad. *hug*

[glareofenvyatKoji] You avi is so awesome![/stopsglaring] I loved the video, it was so funny. Plus, I saw the video posted Scott Westerfeld's blog. The guy who wrote the Leviathan Series. I love that series so much. As for the Steampunk: An Anthology inspired accessories/jewelry. I wish I could make such items. I suck at such things, but I can put together a pretty good outfit.
I was inspired by one story to make a steampunk-like police force roleplay. Or maybe a set of criminals. I don't know, but I'll figure out it out.
