So your taking away bloodlines and demons
Now for starters this is my own opinion and i am not calling you out or anything im simply a member thats been here awhile giving you my thoughts.
The bloodlines and demons make the guild very unique, the system that the guild has devised over its exsistence has become very good, i think it actrually keeps people from becoming to powerful rather then as you stated over powering them in a sense that every bloodline has rules regulations restrictions etc. and everybody has fair chance to join a bloodline or have a demon they simply need to apply for it if they are not accepted thats because they are not very good roleplayers or there new usually its one or the other. demons yes give certain people alot more power then your average ninja, but thats the point not everybody can be equal there are stronger and weaker ninja smarter and dumber slower and faster nobody can be all the same.
also if your taking away bloodlines then does that mean there abilites are off limits as well? what is the new guild system? in any case i do believe that this decision very well might end up killing off the guild, i do hope that i am wrong.
btw, if you take away the bloodlines yet allow anybody to use there abilites then that is far easyer to make over powered charecters due to the fact that there will no longer be restrictions, rules, regulations etc. and i actrually think it is fun having the bloodlines with rules and what have you because it makes the roleplayer choose a bloodline after thinking about how he can use it to the best of its advatages and when faced with there weakness they need to adapt and overcome they need to find a way to defeat there oponent despite having the lower hand but they must do so following the rules, restrictions and regulations set for there bloodline
