Oh yeah, link's in my sig, forgot to mention that part. xd
rofl

that would have been helpful, but it reminds me of how i often forget words in my sentences.

Ex. "Mom, I put -- in the oven"::walks away::

...of course, this scared the crap out of my mom because the last time she looked at me i was holding my infant neice, and before i said that, i'd put her down to put a cake in the oven. xd the look on her face was priceless.
eek Baby cooker!!!
Makes ya wonder how you niece'll turn out. wink Get it!? Double entendre!!!he'll turn out in life, or how she'll turn out in the oven!!!
I need to hire a new joke-writer guy....
*flees*
blaugh heres a story, skip if you want

So i was in the grocery store with my little brother and my neice isabella. we were trying to decide which muffin mix to buy. I wanted Pillsbury, but my bro wanted Jiffy.
"Its a southern tradition" he said.
" Its also a southern tradition to lynch black people" i said, jokingly.
And isabella, in all her 3month old evilness, burst into laughter. -_- she's gonna be so evil.

She's gonna be evil and sarcastic. I'll have to upload pictures of her playing with my brother's air rifle.

What's the big hype about Shakespeare? We've been reading his material in class this whole nine-weeks and I've found it to be very boring and repetitive. Everything he does is pretty much the same, only with slight alterations from book to book. I'm a fan of older literature, but that... just doesn't interest me. But Alexander Dumas, on the other hand, is probably my favorite writer. Counte of Monte Cristo, Three Musketeers, Man in the Iron mask, etc. All interesting books I'd say. sweatdrop
I would have agreed with you a few years ago, but I've been paying a lot more attention to old Bill recently and have found that it's not the stories that make him an amazing author but the writing style and subtext. He managed to not only tell the actor everything they ever needed to know about the character and how to play him or her, but also made huge philosophical arguments that still take hold to this day. Most of Shakespeare's stories were well known before he'd written them. He copied nearly everything, but it's the style in which he'd written everything.
He set everything in either a different time or place than his own era or location. He was historically inaccurate, and did so on purpose. He didn't want his stories to stick to one place. He wanted them to be flexible and have the ability to be interpreted differently. He knew that people in that time often dropped pieces of the play or added bits, so he intentionally wrote the plays longer than he expected them to play. Hamlet, if done in its entirety at a fast pace can't be any shorter than 4 hours long, and that's with scarce stagecraft. This provides the play with versatility and the ability to be interpreted again. You can pick his play apart and show certain aspects of it and it will always survive because he understood how to tell the story. There is not a single scene in any of his plays that is entirely neccessary to make an amazing story, but they still do it in any configuration.
As Peter Brook, master director of our time, would say, "Shakespeare's plays shift between the Holy and the rough theatres." Shakespeare has done what no other author has ever done before or been able to do since and that is to perfectly shift between two different types of theatre smoothly and without flaw. In other words, he can make amazing speeches that make you think, and tell dirty jokes immediately after without it feeling awkward. Holy theatre is the type of theatre that has always been known to entertain nobility or those who believe themselves better. It is the theatre of tradition. Rough theatre is the rude, crude theatre of the masses. Only Shakespeare has been able to combine the two flawlessly entertain everyone.

I have more to say but I need to stop, because these arguments could be better made by those who know more about it than myself. domokun

Oh god, it's monday isn't it!? My days are speeding by ever since I've started selling them to Wal-Mart. I'm starting to think that what's left of my youth is worth more than they're giving me. I have no choice though. I have to pay for school. It's too bad that the government doesn't care enough to help me not through away several years of my life just to get a bit of schooling.

I'm a bit depressed today. I'm sure I'll be better after pretending to smile for 7 hours.

Wal Mart is evil.
During training they actually used the words "servant leader" and told me to be one several times. I've come to the conclusion that Wal-Mart is the world's largest communist country. There are often diplomats from other countries. I was speaking to some ladies from Greece one time.
We were invaded by the French the other day. They were taking inventory, so there were at least 40 Quebecers in there checking out how much of each thing we have. I think our Manager hid the weapons of mass destruction though. domokun

Hahaha. I don't remember that from my training at Wal Mart. Then again- I just tried to block out as much of it as I could.

My parents won't let me shop at walmart. o_O; I've only ever been there once, and I was sick at the time so I don't even really remember it.

If you've ever been to a thrift store ... exactly the same thing. Just the only one vastly incorporated.
