That feast may not be all it's cracked up to be anyway. We offer nothing but pastries around here on occasion, I think.

Naw..no one just wants to cook. You ever prepared what seemed like the entire meal just to watch people gorge on what you've prepared (and no longer want to look at)..just to see the dishes you need to clean afterwards?

My family's different from yours. My mom is always willing to do my dishes--as in, after I've cooked a fantastic meal. XD
In fact, she'll do the dishes at my aunt's house, too.
What a kind woman...I've got big shoes to fill. eek

I'm reluctant to do dishes myself, but it depends upon the meal in question. The harder it took to make, the more obligated I feel to clean them.

My taste threshold is fairly low, however. I once ate a pre-cooked chicken fillet while still frozen.

Also, I AM BACK for my weekly show up! Just before I'm eaten by midterms next week. No really, while you study, the book begins to inhale your soul. You have to grow it back during spring break.
