-=Neko hobbled grumpily from his office, favoring his right side. His hakama dragged lightly on the ground, the heavy cotton making a little bit of noise. He sighed heavily and walked onto the porch before brushing the hair from his face, then looked out into the forest, his chakra, as always, barely noticable=-

Lina walked out of her room for a while. She had been repairing the nerves somewhat, but it didn't feel right to her, and at the rate it seemed to be healing she might as well cut it off and wait for it to grow back in six or seven weeks. She shook her head of those thoughts as she left for the kitchen, deciding to make some tea and biscuts. Her mind drifted through a few of her current projects.

-=Neko turned away, making note of all the chakras scrabbling around the forest, and headed into the dojo. He smiled as he noticed Lina and waved at her as he moved towards the kitchen, still limping just a bit=-

Lina looked over at neko, worry on her face for a few moments. "Heh, that fight mess up your leg?" she asked while reaching for a second cup for tea.

-=He shrugged it off and walked into the kitchen. Yawning slightly, he grabbed a mug, and helped himself to some tea, sipping it a little before sitting at the table=-
Ah! The staff!
-=He quickly stood up, the memories rushing into his head, pushing the matters at hand aside. He nearly spilled his tea, but caught it and looked back at Lina, embarrassed=-
Are... Are you alright? I completely forgot.

She blinked then rolled up her sleeve on her arm and began to build up a charge in the palm of her hand. After a few moments energy burns appeared along various points along her arm. "Mostly just that, Tut's been thinking it's nerve damage, but I've had minor cases and they healed much faster then this" she stated. She then took a sip of her own tea and let her arm rest on the table.

Mm...What caused it?...I don't remember much, that damn staff had a hold of me... It's all a blur. I just remember you and...Reeve, I think it was..

"I remember the staff, you attacked me with it, I tried to take the offesive, after a while it sent this strange chakra into my arm. I have been throwing Kunai at the ground during the fight and then I tried to use an energy sealing ability" She had a few flashes of memories going through her mind before she remembered. "It was the kind people use to store chakra up over time, I just told it to put it in the ground out there" she stated and rubbed the back of her neck.

"Uhhm, no, I think reeve moved the staff. As for my arm the only one who looked was Tutsumi" she replied thinking for a moment.

Of course... It was a variation of cursed chakra that shot through your arm, so it's very likely that it damaged your own energy. Hopefully your circumstances kept it from burning your spirit.

I'd get Seph to look at it using his Byakugan, because the Tamashii way of checking won't be so easy. If we're lucky, Tut's right.

She nodded "Alright, I hope that is it" She then sat back and sipped at her tea, finishing the cup. "Where did that staff come from anyway?" she asked.

Ally, who had been seemingly dissapearing lately, was back in the GNA now, walking slowly through the halls, avoiding attention....She had a black skin tight oufit on, and a cloak over her, as she walked to her room in silence, not looking up. She had been extremly unsocial the last month or so, and had barely seen or talked to anyone, with the way she was acting, things didn't seem to be running so smoothly.... or maybe it was but not for the right reasons.

According to the legend, it was a lone tree on an ancient battlefield. thousands of people's blood was spilled on the soil it drew life from. After it had grown, a town was built around it, and it was used as an execution tree. Then it was cut down, finally, and some of it was fashioned into that staff, by a nameless monk.
The monk tried to purify it to use it, and it stole the monk's soul. He became trapped in that staff, and was driven mad through the decades, and he began to draw power from the blood and energy the tree had absorbed through the generations. The monk wanted to be free, so he possessed any being that touched the staff, slaughtering as many as that body could, hoping to get the power to escape.
I heard about it coming near here, so I sought it out, and underestimated it's power. I apologize for endangering you all.
