In all honesty I think most of my pain and soreness is from the Gaian panel. At least the pain and soreness in my legs.
Any luck there'll be pictures of the convention and you'll see me hehe.
But yeah, the con was succesful, even if I basicly spent all of friday night up till Saturday morning around 7 AM watching anime before taking a three hour nap in the Jeep.

Ummm..... I'm fairly certain there are conventions in Canada. Just got to look is all. I only really go to AWA but I know of plenty within the same amount of driving time. The main problem is always money. Money for the hotel, gas money, food money, money in case something breaks down and you need to get it fix. And of course, money for all the stuff.
I walked away with 3 complete series box sets, 7 volumes of a manga I admit is a guilty pleasure of mine, two volumes of a collection of a web comic I read, a volume of comics the same person doesn't put up online, supported an up and coming comic artist, a picture of Cloud that made of epic, and some odds and end things.
Oh and a $150 leather vest and $40 arm braces I can use for costumes. And I still came back with $217 and some odd change. I even got a rare $2 bill haha.

The cons might have been in Canada, but I am not...and I believe the nearest con location IN the US is somewhere around St. Paul?
$2 bills are still considered rare? I have like....5 of the darned things

Like I said, just got to look around for them.
And while they may not be rare they're still uncommon. I mean, you don't see $2 every day. Same goes for 50 cent coins.

Impulse buy. I've seen the stand there before from the other cons and I know the guys have high quality products. So I went by there and started looking and I just couldn't stand it and had to buy something.
Of everything they had the vest was the most "normal" looking of the bunch. White front, black back, plain buttons. I bought it mainly for the potential costume ideas but it's nice enough i could probably use it for formal events.
