Pen, not only seeing the magical counter attack but actually suffocated by the sheer power, fell back behind Luciano, Michelle and Waffle. Still searching the room for the hidden Shadow she wished she could be more help. Being bound to close combat techniques, all she could do is wait until Shadow appeared.

Useless yet again.

Not quite understanding what the commander was doing since she never really witnessed his dark energy technique up close. She cursed under her breath but knew she could trust the commander.

Even if I'm not trustworthy, I know he knows what to do.

She watched closely to what was going on, silent, waiting for something to happen. This would be the perfect time for someone, who can walk undetected in a crowed room, to take advantage of the magi of the group. The sound of a brick crumbling to the floor made her turn to find the Shadow flicker behind them.

There you are.

However she heard yet a another fall, coming now from the battle she was intently watching. Waffle and Michelle were still going strong but what she saw stunned her to the spot.

"Bro!" Pen was now able to move, as if she had said the magic word. Running however to Aly who was keeping the barrier strong.

Put a barrier around Shadow instead." She turned and point ed the still flickering form of the Shadow. "Make sure he can't get out."

With that Pen went over to the battle field. She might not have any magic but as Luc would say "No one gets left behind, huh Bro. Idiot."

((Hokay. So. . . lol I'm going to say- for now- that the nanites were zapped. . . Lol Because THIS is taking a while. And with Skotti a little bit busy now- ok, well, A LOT lol- I think it would be safe to move a liiiiittle bit ahead. Like, to where everyone's still trapped in the room, but the Nanites were zapped or something. Anyway! Moving on! biggrin ))

After the group had made sure the nanites were zapped, Michelle ran over to Luciano, who was still breathing but it was very weak. Michelle gently pulled him close, with his head on her lap, and she said "There's a doctor in the group, right? I think it's safe to come out now and help the wounded!" Luciano was so tired, but he kept his eyes open for as long as his body would allow, ". . . Sleep. . ." Luciano kept thinking, ". . . I really need to sleep. ." he closed his eyes and fell asleep. Michelle nervously bit her lip and pulled Luciano even closer, as much as she knew it was a bad idea for him to fall asleep, he really did need it. Everyone seemed a bit drained now; Poor Waffle looked as though she was going to pass out, too- and her hands didn't look too good, and Luciano passed out from going over his limit. . . But Michelle felt perfectly fine. As if she were fully charged and ready for, well, whatever else came at them! She had never known power like this before. For now, though, Michelle stayed put until the group's Doctor came around to check on the wounded.

Michelle softly gasped, because she had never met Shadow, or Blacklight before, and she never knew how they really sounded. But when she knew for certain that they were back to normal, she responded, "We're friends of Skotti. . Do you two remember anything?" she asked.

Luciano woke up some time later, just in time to hear Michelle ask Blacklight and Shadow if they remembered anything. He looked around and then slowly began to sit up, Michelle shook her head and told him not to move. That was easy for him. Luciano didn't really feel like moving anyway.
When Luciano's vision cleared up a little more, he noticed Waffle's hands. Luciano said almost very softly to Waffle, ". . . Are you alright?"

"What?!!" Luciano sat up very quickly, but when he did he felt this awfuly pain shoot to his head; This would be the worst Migrane he had ever had in his life. He grunted, and then Michelle said, "ICB what?" "Nukes, Michelle." Michelle froze for a moment. This mission had just gotten personal for her. Her mother and father, her brother, and Luciano's family were there- Completely unaware of that was going on now. . . This scared her a little bit.
Luciano rubbed his forehead, he looked up at Shadow and Blacklight, and he said, "First thing is first. . How do we get out of this room?" He slowly got to his feet, not even close to having his strength back yet, Michelle stood up too to give him some support. He spoke again, "Secondly, D'you remember anything else?- Passwords, keycard numbers, anything to help stop the launch?"

The blacklight raised his hands towards a large garage door on the other side of the room and tore it open.
the shadow nodded "We can follow this trail all the way to the fortress, any locks we can use the blacklight's power to get through." he said.
"we need to make a distraction to delay the launch, I sugest that we split into two teams: one to raise an alarm on the compound and cause a distraction, the other to head into the base to stop the launch and disable the bombs." he said.

( Wow, I go off to read manga for a little while and now I'M the one lagging! Good work, guys. xd )

"Oh Pen, knock it off. I'm fine." Waffle muttered as she tried to get up. Sabe went over to her and had to help her up, also needing to be very careful to not come anywhere near her hands as he still didn't figure out the cause for it.
