He narrowed his eyes a bit more.

"People don't get what they want- miracles don't happen. Especially not to me. I never once said that Sarya coming back should be taken at face value, and I think we both would have agreed to testing to make sure everything is sound. But kidnapping her? Leaving me OR her with no say? That's not right, cat. Even if she doesn't think Sarya is real, and so doesn't respect her opinions or feelings, the LEAST she could do is respect mine."
