Here is a map of one of the most used cloverleafs in Winnipeg (it's the #1 highway - transcanada- meeting our perimeter highway on the west side of the city). Please note amount of merging space and how tight everything is:

Here's the perimeter highway + transcanada on the east side of the city. Same sized zoom. Most people don't use the perimeter highway here because it's too inconvenient, yet the merges are so much better than the super busy west side.
