Ciel tried to wring the water out of her normally clean hat, before muttering, "Maybe Zubat wasn't muddy enough?" That was good, 'cause water could dry out, but mud meant taking yet another bath!
With a curious look, she asked about what a STAB was. She had yet to hear that terminology used.
Kip, on the other hand, gave a sheepish look at his ex-driver, Countess, with an apologetic look, even though she was now in the clothing folds of someone else. "Mudkip..."
Well, at least there were more targets to aim for. Gaining all the water in his mouth, he turned his head to aim at the lower end of the floating targets. With a WHOOOSHing noise, water squirted in a jet, hitting it, and breaking it into three different sizes. With a joyful back-flip, Kip celebrated.

Ironically, Tommy fell into a SIV, right in front of Zero.

Zero looked down at the spot where Tommy was only a moment ago. "I guess I'll have to get used to it," he commented. Turning to Ciel, he explained his Zubat's behavior. "While she's tried gaining a tolerance to the sun, for so far she's only been able to withstand about five minutes of direct sunlight before receiving a first-degree burn. Mud, I suppose, could help, but she probably wouldn't be able to carry both mud and your Mudkip and remain flying."
The Countess cried its praise at both Mudkip's aim and Zero's attempts at conversation. Pulling out another Caterpie-candy, Zero placed it on his shoulder for the Countess' easy access. She happily sank her teeth into the gummy candy, sucking away at the nectar.

It basically says that a fire type will use fire attacks better than an electric type will use fire attacks. *I grab a towel and sit down on it*

Ciel nodded, and said some nice thanks, making sure to give the proper gratitude. "That's great, Kip!" she cried out again, but not as loud this time. It seemed that he had gained a friend, which was good.
She arched her head towards Zero. "Well, try giving your Zubat some sunscreen~? Does that help?"

The Countess continued slurping away at her treat, trying to imagine a mudbath. Zero nodded in response to Ciel's suggestion.

Ciel sighed as she picked up her tired, yet happy, Mudkip. "Well, thanks everyone for all the help! I'm afraid all of this excitement has driven Kip to exhaustion." She looked at her poor hat. "I need to change into something else..." Her poor, poor beret!!! She left, heading back to the HQ to take a nap, too.

Zero nodded, glancing at the Countess. She uttered a sleepy cry; she was a bat, and what bat was awake at this hour? He turned and left the beach.

Tommy was spat out of the SIV portal in the sands of the beach on Aquos island like you'd see Mario from the Mario 64 game for the Nintendo 64 when he is defeated and the little hole where he enters to get to that world is in the ground (exhale, inhale, blah blah blah). Tommy looked around, and shrugged. He had forgotten to say hello to the scientist lady, but at least he had met one of the new people. He headed into HQ. It seemed that Swampert had already headed back to Tommy's room earlier after the training of Kip the Mudkip earlier that day. Tommy made his way to the couch and sat down.

Twas a beautiful morning outside her sea-window today! Lot's of cute Pokémon were swimming by. With a cup of strawberry tea in one hand, Dr. Oshirobi sipped, think about what to do today. "Mud-Kip!" her Mudkip exploded happily. He was roaring and ready to go! And potentially Water Gun a few people/Pokémon he had wanted to since day one.

"No, put it on that wall." The Countess picked up the scroll and re-organized the shelves, placing the old piece of paper on a high shelf on the ceiling. Zero looked around his room. Perhaps he chose the room with the arch ceiling because it reminded him of his old home, the cave. The room was more like a library, with dozens of rows of tall bookshelves taking the majority of the space; in a corner, a small bed and table. A slab of rock made for his reading-chair; straight from the desert, he wasn't sure what type of rock it was, exactly.
Satisfied with the decor, he raised an arm. The Countess glided down from the ceiling and perched on his outstretched arm, first hanging upside-down, then crawling upright to search for any hidden snacks inside the sleeve. He closed his door, locked it, and looked around for the mess hall.
"Find it," he softly commanded to the Countess. She let out a few waves, and flew off to the flight of stairs, heading down. Zero followed Zubat, stopping to stare for a moment at the windows. He was still getting used to the idea of living so close to the huge body of water, that "ocean." The Countess called out for him, and he continued walking down.

Tommy wondered why he was the only one in HQ as he sat down on the couch in his usual spot, with a small bucket of ice, two two-liter Rootbeer bottles, and an three extra large boxes of pizza: Cheese, Pepperoni, and ham and pineapple pizza. He decided to turn on the TV to one of his favorite shows, Ninja Warrior. He poured himself some Rootbeer, grabbed a slice of Pizza, and set to work hungrily.

Dr. Ciel Oshirobi took a glance ahead, sneaking in as quiet as one could with metal shoes, of course. With a small tilt of her head, she questioned, "You know, all of that junk food isn't very good for you!"

"Piiiiish." Tommy told the scientist as he heard her, though he didn't quite recognize her voice. "I practically live off the stuff. Besides, I'm saving some for later, but I bargained on others coming and stealing some." He chuckled, before turning around. Fortunately, it was a commercial. "Oh?" Tommy said, now actually seeing her. "I remember you. Kinda. I saw you at that ranch where the dude with the crazy Gengar was... I don't think I ever actually introduced myself though. The name's Tommy." He finished, standing up, washing his hands from the pizza grease to be polite, and then extended his hand when he returned.
