Tommy and Swampert were both spit out of a SIV portal, and thrown onto the sands. "Whew, finally out of ther-- HEY! IT TOOK MY LUNCH MONEY! AND MY SHOE!!!" Tommy went into a anger fit and kicked sand into the poor portal (hee hee, puns~), which dissapeared shortly after. The clearly disshelved Tommy walked over to the small group, now noticing the Scientist he'd glanced at before at the ranch, and a totally new guy.
Meanwhile, Swampert went over to the Mudkip. "Ever heard of Water Gun?" He smiled at the small mudkip, patting it on the fin atop its head.

Ariel looked at the member (zero) she haven't met before and then introduce herself. She then held out her hand while sating, "Hello, my name is Ariel."

The sour pokeblock flies into Swampert's mouth, and he chews happily, the sourness actually getting to him. Never happened before. "Whoah, you're good at making sour pokeblocks to be reeeeeeally sour, dude, BL." Tommy commented happily, enjoying the intensity of the sourness burning up his mouth.
Meanwhile, again, Tommy makes his way over to Zero, his head cocking to one side as he came to a hault. "New guy?" Tommy asked. He would introduce himself briefly. He waved over to Brian. "How's it goin', BL?" Tommy called over.

Zero stared at the boy and his Swampert. Did they just pop out of the sand? He turned his attention back to the girl who extended her hand.
"Zero," he said, returning the gesture.

With his little golden specks growing, showing as if it was a huff, Kip responded back in as MANLY as a voice a Mudkip could get, "I don't know Water Gun, Swampert, SIR!"
Natrually, no regular human could understand his voice, so what Ciel heard was "Swampert, Swampert," and "Mudkip, Kipu..."
With a little jump, Mudkip dashed onto the Zubat's back, and did a soft jump, mentioning that it was ready to go ahead and reach towards the sky. It WILL break that target!

Swampert was talking in plain English, actually. sweatdrop Anyways, he chuckled at Mudkip's try at being manly-ish, before commenting back to the Mudkip again. "I bet I could hit the target before you could~" Swampert betted the soldier-like mudfish, readying a simple Mud Shot, faster and harder than a Water Gun. That's an unfair advantage, but hey, whatever takes the cake takes the cake, right?

Zero glanced at all the people on the beach. Unaccustomed to so many welcome gestures, he nervously shook Tommy's hand and turned to his Zubat.
The Countess slowly made her way up, trying not to drop her rider. After getting Kip used to riding, she tilted upward and reached the first 35-foot target. She was not going to be bested by a talking Swampert that easily! A determined Mudkip leaped headfirst into the first target, with the Countess flying ahead to catch the un-aerobatic mudfish. The target's remains fell to the sandy floor, and the pair flew to the next one.

Swampert had not wanted to hurt either of the two pokemon soaring through the skies, and did not fire. Instead, he shot a fast Mud Shot towards the second one that Brian had put up, shattering it into oblivion, giving the aerial duo not a chance to even try and shatter the target. Nothing but a fine powder (of whatever the targets are made of) fell to the beach's sands.
"That's good." Tommy called to Brian once more, before turning back to Zero. "So anyways, I'm Tommy. Glad to meet'cha." Tommy dropped the handshake once it was performed.

Kip felt the wind pass through it body, even though he wasn't exactly a streamlined figure. Part of him was freaking out [he HATES hights], but the other part was filled with compition. Since he had technically beaten up the target before the Swampert, Kip turned it head to give the final evolved Mudkip a nod of his head. All of this, mind you, while going 'Kipuu~~~~~~~~!'
Of course, his little happiness bubble got slightly smaller [but not gone, of course!] when the guy utterly DECIMATED the 2nd target! "Kippu!!" he shook a foot-fist at him, in a joking sense. "Mud. Kip!" it cried out at the third target.
It was on the next target that Kip felt something inside him... Regurgitation from the Caterpie Candy? Oh, he hoped not...! He tried holding it down and not explode but...
"Blaaaaaaaaaa!!!!" But instead of a green slime, it was... water!?
As for Dr. Oshirobi, she jumped up, clutching onto her TADS, screaming "YES, YES!" She ran forwards and gave a wink to the newcomer, Zero. "Thanks for the help with your Zubat!" She also addressed Tommy with a nod, "And you, too."
Of course, since the newly learned Water Gun wasn't aimed at anything, it splattered on the crowd below... Dr. Oshirobi's hat sliding off of her blonde head.

Zero smiled faintly at the now-drenched Countess. She tried hiding her disgust at her now drenched little body and dutifully flew to the fourth and final target.
He turned to Tommy. "Zero. New here." After a moment's pause, he added, "Do you always pop out of the sand like that?"

All it took was a nod and a wink between Tommy and Swampert before they burst out laughing. The two were inseperable, and the two hugeed each others wet selves. Swampert and Tommy seperated, and Swampert shouted up. "Good job, squirt. Try again." He laughed, now that the Mudkip had learned Water Gun. But wouldn't that mean that he'd now know Mud Slap as well? Tommy answered to Zero at that moment. "Zero. Got it. And now usually, but man, those SIVs can get really nasty sometimes..." A sweatdrop formed on the back of Tommy's head as he chuckled, hand on the back of his head.

After flying in the sunlight for about ten minutes, the Countess was ready to head back to the cool darkness in Zero's hood. She placed Kip back down on the sand and flew back to his cloak, drying herself off a bit before resting in the hood, silently nursing her new sunburn.
"What's an SIV?" Zero asked, feeling more foolish by the second.
