*grumbles* Stupid flu - it always takes me a week to recover enough so I feel like myself again...
Anatomy class makes me feel odd trying to tell my family about the funny stories our instructor tells us. I mean, they really don't understand the significance of the Pectoralis major snapping at the origin point... And I get confused when my family uses words like "breastbone" or "shoulderblade" *sigh* The scapula isn't a blade!! If you've ever held one, you'd know there isn't a sharp point on it unless you make one! Personally, I'd try sharpening the acromion or the coracoid process instead of the the medial margin or the inferior angle. But why bother when you can use the humerus? Now, that's a blunt weapon but much less inclined to break.
stare Nobody understands me, except for my classmates.

Because its medical terminology. To people who don't study anatomy its just considered jargon. Its just like if I started spouting of the terminology for graphic design, C++, Ajax, or CSS. Doubtful that it would make sense to anyone unless they have experience in the matter.
You make it sound as if you think the people around you are complete idiots just because they don't get your jargon. I don't get it. And I'm pretty sure I'm not an idiot.

I can beat people up without knowing which bones I'm breaking.
Meh. I'm prolly just pissy cause my mom waltzed into the lab at the college and basically said, "Here do my job for me while I chat". Collating 258 pages of a catalog is not fun! And I was finally going to have time to scan the profile pictures too! *grumble grumble* Maybe tomorrow.

I bet me and Kazu could probably retaliate with a whole slew of animation mumbo jumbo...and Lord knows I could with sequential, color theory, and film gonk
You know what I hate though....being at home for a whole summer with NO ONE to talk to about it eek That about drives me darn right insane

I understand how you feel Rad, or at least somewhat.
My parents both wanted to be accountants when they attempted to go to college. My mom is now a secretary and my dad is now a ATM tekkie at Diebold, and my brother is going into business.
And here I am, a Gaming Arts student. Talk about a lonely existence >>

I speak some C++. It is evil!! And now I'm getting big in the animating area. Woo!! I'm trying to make a semi Long animation.
Also, I was wondering if anyone in the guild wants me to make a vector of their face. If you do, Send your favorite picture of yourself to my email. It is on my DA page, as well as an example. I feel like doing it for some reason.

And I'm pretty sure I'm not an idiot. confused I'm not trying to imply that anyone is lacking in the cranium, I'm just trying to get across that I feel separated from most people I know, cause if I try to tell a funny story, they don't have a clue what I'm referring to because I've had these anatomy terms drilled into my brain and I don't think twice about what words I use. Excuse me for the people who got offended. rolleyes I was just trying to explain that I feel like I'm a different person, and that fact has me a little off-kilter.

You can only feel separated if you decide that is what your dividing line is. You have a common ground with everyone, no matter what their field of study, so if you think that no one understands you just because they can't tell their Tibia from their toenail you are in a sad state.
Basically you bring it on yourself. Way to alienate your friends, bonehead.
