Hey, Shinny, Minty.
I'm looking for suggestions on a good long range sniper rifle example. Preferable high caliber, possibly semiautomatic.
Any suggestions?

x - 3x(4+9) = 7x + 5(2 + 13)
and I'm like WTF
Pemdas and move the variable over. << Then you will have an X^2 or something like that. More than likely you will have to use another formula
from there. X = - b + or - ... That stupid song one. <<

x - 3x(4+9) = 7x + 5(2 + 13)
Distribute the 3x to 4 and 3x to 9
Do the same to 5 to 2 and 5 to 13
x - 12x + 27x = 7x + 10 + 65
-12x -12x
x + 27x = 5x + 10 + 65
-x -x
Just so you know x is 1 right now
27x = 4x + 10 + 65
-27x -27x
4x + 10 + 38
-4x -4x
10 + 34
x = 24
Too many steps for my simple brain.

Shinny- Well....I prefer pistols, bayonets, rifles and shot guns. Bayonets are my favorite with pistols a close second. And I'm talking old style weaponry. With filigree and beautiful wood craftsmenship....weaponized art.
