:::Cora enters from the guest room halls. Part of her feels solid, and the other feels like a phantom...someone dead who refuses to move on, and haunts a place it used to love so deeply.
But she could not have described it that way, she was only beginning to understand feelings again, one by one. Thus far, they were all painful. She had taken too many steps without having a single personal thought, and when one hit, she began to cry again. She had grown hoarse from sobbing audibly all night, and now she just let the tears streem down her face silently.
She stood still at the opening to the main room. She didn't know what to do with herself. Something in her mind told her to go sit at the bar, so that's what she did
As soon as she sat, she cradled her head in her hands, and just kept crying:::

*Mystina fades in and looks around, seeing Cora standing in the doorway, and then at the bar, and sobbing, and walks over to her* Madam? Are you alright?

*She whispered in a soft voice, showing she wasn't going to hurt her* I'm not going to hurt you.... You're safe now...

*Cross apears on the shelf behind the bar.... as if climbing he moves to find a handghold and instead finds a bottle of Gin..* oh.... right then.. he turns from the shelf and sees Cora sobbing..* excuse me miss... *he takes a closer look then cocks his head to the side...* nooo.... * he tqkes a step then vaults over the bar... stifling a wince as he lands wrong and then swaggers over* is it..?

*Mystina released Cora, walking behind the bar, and getting out 2 bottles of bottled water and opening them each, showing Cora how to drink it* Do you want some water?
*Mystina pushed it foreward and smiled at Cora, smiling at her*

Cora lass? *cross watches her odd behavior and raises an eyebrow..... something was dead wrong ere.... and it wasn't just a change in that odd sort of clothing she wore.... foronce the first thing Cross heads towards isn't the rum.... he crosses the room cautiously..* is.... are ye alright..?

*her face was different... and her hair was longer...... and her eyes..... cold.... frightened... but there was no doubt...... *cross moves his way over.... and.... keeping a safe distance.. rests his hands on his hips*... Officer Serenis? its me...Captain Cross.. *he looks at her intently.... his head canted to the side and his hands on his hips.....*

*cross side steps to the bar and pulls a bottle of merlot.. and a wine glass from underneath.... setting them on the table... he wasn't sure what was wrong.... but he knew that if alchohol didn't bring her to her senses... he might have his work cut out for him... * er... right..... ye look tired, lass.. *he says speaking to her slowly as he would to a shell shocked canoneer*... why don't ye have a seat *he says pulling a chair out for her* and a drink of wine...... and settle ye nerves.... savy?
*he gives her a grin.... but his brow is furrowed.....she seems stifled..... not speaking.... andd obviously frightened... but he has seen her strength. .. and he's seen men with that look after surviving a battle with the loss of almost all hands.. and those are dangerous men... he keeps a smile on.. but to be sure he felt like frowning.*
