*Selene sat on Cade's bed and looked around the room. Looking around at how empty his side was, she realized she wasn't going to get much information about him through his stuff.*
"Nothing. Just wanted to hang out with someone, I suppose. Skipped all of my classes today. That last one with Shaw was dreadful."

*Selene returned his smile with a grin, although she didn't know what there was to smile about. Was she into him? she wondered. The more she was with Cade, the more she was intrigued by him.*
None that I'm aware of. Although if there were, I wouldn't tell you of course.

*Cade plucks his lightsaber from his belt and held it at his side. One thing he needed to check....because it was obvious that Selene was in his blind spot. He had an intense attraction to her and it was something a Sith would use to get to him.*

Billy gripped his hand and turned to face Teddy.
"Maybe I can help you with your grades? Be a study buddy or something? I..."
A female voice interrupted them.
"Billy?"
Billy turned and saw his own advisor and senior student, Jennifer Kale, approaching with a smile.
"I was hoping I could have a word with your friend here."

Billy looked back and forth between Jennifer and Teddy and seemed perplexed.
"Alone, Billy." Jennifer emphasized and Billy looked to Teddy and jetted a thumb at the fountain a few yards away.
"I'll...I'll wait over there."
Billy hurried over to the fountain and had a seat as Jennifer watched, then turned her head to Teddy and smiled brilliantly. She was eighteen, and beautiful...as well as the most powerful student mage at Hero High.
Unafraid of her own sexuality, Jennifer sported a cut-off t and tight jeans and she crossed her hands over her breasts and smiled at Teddy.
"I know who you are. You're all Billy talks about. I'm Jennifer."
She brushed her flowing hair from her face and continued.
"Billy told me he was going to ask you to our Samhain celebration. Will you be joining us?"

The Sith fancy themselves the bosses of everyone. They want to kill me. Good to know you're not one. It would have been very disappointing.

Jennifer smiled and gave Teddy a playful nudge on the shoulder.
"Of course it's okay Teddy. Every member of the club is allowed to bring a guest. I'm bringing my own girlfriend. It helps those of us who don't seem to fit in with the rest of the crowd. The mages of the school seem to be outsiders."
She looked at him and tilted her head. he was a cute boy, but shy.
"And I'm fine. A tad warm blooded."
Jennifer put her finger under Teddy's chin and lifted his head to look at her.
"I don't bite Teddy. I wanted to meet you personally. Ever since Billy and you, well ever since you started hanging out, his studies and magics have improved. You've been very good for him."

*Selene watched Cade as he put his lightsaber away curiously. She scrutinized his face for a minute, trying to see what he was getting at, but all she found was his stern look. She laid back on his bed against his pillow. It smelled like musk and whiskey.*
I'm sure...
*Note to self, she thought: look up "sith" if you ever happen to go to the library.*

Jennifer smiled. Teddy was cute. So naturally shy.
"There was another reason I wanted to have a chat with you Teddy, and I hope you don't mind. I don't mean to be personal but I thought maybe you could use someone to talk to."
She placed her hands on his shoulders and gave them a gentle squeeze.
"Teddy, I know you're going through a bit of a personal struggle right now. I was hoping being with Billy would be good for you too. There is a club here at school, maybe you might like to come for a meeting? It's called S.T.R.E.N.G.T.H. It's for students like me, and like Billy. I don't want to presume anything but...maybe it would help you to ... adjust?"
