Kayla had heard what he said, but at the same time hadn't. It wasn't until he had moved her out of the way that she realized what he had said. She took a half step forward, her eyes fixed on the scene. She hugged her book close to her chest.
"Be careful," she whispered, hoping in the end everyone would be alright.

She frowned at hearing his words.
Is this really the time to be asking for a smoke?

It was over in a manner of seconds. Blood encased the entire area, sprayed in violent raptures over brick and concrete as the lone man stood in the center, not having moved once...or so it seemed. Bodies covered everywhere around him, lacerated and ripped and torn like ragdolls as his sword dripped blood casually and slowly towards the ground. He shook his head, turned back the way he came from, back towards a shelter for humans, as he heard the leader of the pack, a vampiric demon, speak again, through a blood choked coddle. What.....are you? The man looked back, feeling no pity for the creature. No one special... The vampire could feel from his eyes he was more than human. YOU! *Cough cough* There's...no way! *Hack* Are you.... the dhampir?!?! ....ARE YOU THE HUNTER?!?!?!? The man laughed and walked back towards the creature. I am...too bad you wont live enough to tell of me. and do me a favor... He knelt down, gripping the creatures throat as it hawked blood across his face, making his pale skin seem like a ceramic cake with crimson frosting. When you get to Hell...tell them you found the boogieman.... With that, the man Rammed his sword into the demons heart, splitting ribs with a deafening crack that billowed in the narrow streets. The man stood slowly, whipping his head back as ivory hair fell over his eyes, and he turned back towards the way he was headed, sighing and hoping, at least for now....that things would get better for him. He prayed silently to himself, hoping his words in his thoughts would at least cut the chill in the night that followed him, hoped that it would make him feel at mends with his own heart. I take in your sins so you may find everlastin peace within the limbo of your own heart.......

In order to protect this generation...hunters must be born of the night and shadow...to create a brighter tomorrow....



Dante headed back to his bike, starting the engine with a deafening roar as he headed back towards the school.... and hopefully, his last salvation.

"RIVIN!" Kayla screamed, dropping her book and running past Immolatus. She stopped about a foot away, not looking at the beast that had just destroyed her only friend. Tears fogged up her eyes. He was gone. Her only friend. Gone. Vanished. Poof. Dead. Mort.
As she just froze on the spot, staring at where Rivin was, her eyes oddly flashed a bright red behind the tears, before returning to their natural bright emerald.

Taqune heard a girl crying he looked to see a guy laying on the ground.Taqune was next to her in seconds."miss what is wrong is he?"Taqune was ready to help her and the guy on the ground."I can help if you need any."

Kayla turned around, furious. She glared up at Immolatus.
"Is this REALLY the time to be asking for a smoke?" she asked, her eyes narrowing. She turned back and looked at the odd smoke. Her tears seemed to have stopped.
Everyone dies... it was meant to happen. Forget it and move on a snide voice in her head said.

Immolatus had heard the demanding question targeted towards him by Kayla. His eyes, still stalked Coma''s as his face showed no emotion, not even as if he was angered. Immolatus''s face was as still as a statue as he waited to Coma to answer to his request.

"Yes, this IS really the time for a smoke, I feel like... violence...." Said Immolatus as he continued to wait for a response from Coma.

Happy that the guy eas alive he looked at the other one wanting a smoke,"If you want violance try me I wont be so easty to kill."Taqune chuckled the guy did know what he was getting into and would probobly not go for the fight.

Rivin could feel the warmth of life reseeping into his very core. He didn't like these so-close-to-death-but-brought-by-magic experinces. It had only happened to him once before and he had been left traumatized by it the first time, at lest this time he had the comfort of his firend. He looked to see the demon still near him. He yelp, he didn't want to die again, he was almost as scared of this guy as he was Azrael.

"How? What? I'm so....I don't want to die...not again...." he said searching for an exit, something to save himself, then something came to mind. Kayla, the guy might hurt her too. Rivin would never live with himself if that happened. So Rivin pointed his wand to her, the blue beam struck her, suspending her animation for a short time. Rivin quickley picked her up and ran off towards the forest.
