And uh...non canon, meaning characher deaths don't count. Mind posting first? What level of characters are we gonna use? We just gonna fight in this arena? Level? If you mean pwniness, gimme your best. And I would perfer the arena.

One of my characters can turn his whole body into shadows and have it back in perfect condition once he reforms. Except that he still feels pain and loses stamina from the attacks and his shadowing is taking up his energy anway.
But I've no quarrel giving up in a fight before I die or if I sense my opponent deserves the win.

Vincent. V Ex-~ Imperfect-Chaos Look at this way: If they didn't use ninja crap to avoid death, they'd use some other crap to avoid death. I've yet to see a "prevents death" jutsu in the hundreds of chapters of Naruto I've read or any of the filler episodes I've seen, so they'r epulling it out of their butts anyway. The only thing that comes close is the reincarnation jutsu, by which one person literally has to die in order to bring someone else back to life. And that one was created and known by one person who, obviously, used it once and it died with them. Nice logic. They've done it plenty of times to me in Commerce which is effectively my role-playing home. They've cornered themself, been pinned to the wall by my boot by the throat, had a sword jammed through their head and their excuse is *Uses handsealoftheallmightyGodofsuckass and teleports to the other side of the room, and launches a stream of fire at you from further handseals* Despite the fact a sword was just plunged through their head in conditions which would leave them little more than breathing to do. It's not fun when people don't admit they've lost. I'm bad for doing that, but I do it the tendency I don't stop a fight even if my character is going to die. D: So it's not revival as much as it is the ability to suddenly teleport and everthing is okey-dokey again. gonk <~: See that's what I wouldn't do because I get pissed when people do that. I wouldn't use that jutsu in a battle ever. I would use illusions but if there was a sword at my throat, before they killed me I would surrender because frankly I don't want Akako's character to die. :~>

Additionally, do not forget that Naruto tends to hide tricks from the viewers/readers until the last second - for example, "Blargh I'm dead AHAHAHA JUST KIDDING I USED KIWARIMI NO JUTSU AND YOU ACTUALLY JUST STABBED AN EXPLODING LOG BYE SUCKER".

Chaos: That would irritate me somewhat, but under the limitations that it would tire your character out to do it too much would mean I'd keep coming at you like a whore keeps coming back for more from the local pimp. domokun
Akako: Sadly enough dear, not enough people apply the logic that it is unfair and somewhat silly to say that by teleporting with some random jutsu/handseal, you are alive and healthy again with no compromising energy drain. Keep that opinion you have, playing fair is better than playing unfairly. 3nodding

WHat do you mean does not die no matter what? He's been in situations he admitted were dangerous to his life many times. He's just the main villian so they get him out of there. As for tehe xploding logs, yeah they do that but I thought he was saying they were self-reviving on him.

Psionics are not 100% consisting of this Planar crap - it's a trend that I dislike, it's a skill tree that, despite it's vast power, is well beatable and even EXPLOITABLE, and that's all there is to it.
How this got onto the subject of Naruto & Jutsu(s) is beyond me, but for the love of GOD, WHO CARES IF SOMEONE INCORPERATES ASSORTED TAI OR OTHER JUTSU INTO THEIR CHARACTER!? As long as they originate on their character, as long as they don't god mod with it [being stabbed in the head with a sword, last I check, equates that you're dead - teleporting away won't.. change that much, unless your body set-up is quite different than what I'm used to.]

Considering I am going to the military in a year and I stick to military conduct I don't lie, cheat, or steal. It's stupid and a waist of time. The more you fight no matter what you lose alot of energy, mental and physical so after like 45 minutes of fighting and you have a sword or weapon at your throat then surrendering is the best way to go. Before that I can understand a very quick and well explained get away if it has nothing to do with jutsu but other than that... you cheated in my opinion. :~>
