Indeed, they could not afford to fall back on their old habits. Their imagined future was lovely, but first they needed to get their current reality in order to get there. As much as he disliked seeing Micha off, it was for the best. They could both focus on their work and goals and meet again in due time. And it would get easier as they slowly formed the habit.

Samuel couldn't help teasing the male a little. He grinned as Micha rolled his eyes before teasing. He laughed softly as Micha came closer to him. "It's not that fancy....it's used...sorta. It had like a few thousand miles on it when I bought it." he replied. Samuel didn't mind that Micha rode the subway. Just so long as that he was careful and looked out for himself. There were too many horror stories about people getting robbed or assaulted on the train. He'd prefer that neither of those things happened to Micha.

As the male came close to him, Samuel was given a kiss. He kissed him back tenderly before pulling back. He smiled as the male got up and reminded him of his schedule. "Yes, dear." he teased back. Standing as well, Samuel followed the male around the couch and bent down to pick up his clothes from the floor. There was no one beside them here, so he felt no need to get dressed just to go upstairs. However, he did at least want to toss them in the hamper so he didn't just forget about them until the next time he or his maid was down here. Once he had everything, he motioned Micha forward to go upstairs ahead of him.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Micha had never really had issues on the subway. He tried to keep himself away from others and be vigilant. Micha watched as Samuel rolled his eyes as he teased him. He laughed as Samuel teased him about his car in return. Micha hardly cared about Samuel's flashy ride. "Oh, sorry to offend… I'm sure you'd much prefer a car off the lot with say a few hundred miles?" He teased as he stuck his tongue out at Samuel.

Standing Micha watched as Samuel stood and went about gathering their clothes. He made his way around the couch and across the room. Micha waited for Samuel to finish as he stood waiting by the steps. It wasn't long before Samuel came toward him and motioned him up the stairs. He started up the steps carefully as his hips still ached.

Samuel didn't mind being teased about his car. If Micha wanted to ride the subway, so be it. So long as he was safe and able to get to where he needed to go that was all that mattered. He smiled as the male laughed and teased him again, watching as he soon stuck his tongue out at him. "Hmm...maybe. But it depends on the car." he replied simply. Going about the room, Samuel picked up their clothes to drop off in the hamper. He followed Micha up the stairs. He knew he was probably hurting just as he was. But a little movement would probably help. As they came upon the ground floor, he squinted against the bright sunlight flooding in through windows. Samuel followed Micha up towards the main staircase and continued on to his bedroom. "Your hips okay?" he asked curiously. "If you want, I've got some pain killers in my bathroom."

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Micha hardly cared what Samuel drove. He knew Samuel enjoyed driving and cars for their beauty. Micha found cars necessary but not something he needed. He continued up the stairs with Samuel following behind him. They reached the top landing as he looked around. It was bright, having forgotten how long they'd been downstairs.

He continued walking with Samuel through the house toward the main staircase. Micha walked up the stairs as he took his time. He heard Samuel question him. Micha nodded slightly, "Yeah, they ache a little but some pain killers couldn't hurt." He replied as they made it to Samuel's bedroom.

As they made their way upstairs, Samuel couldn't help being a little concerned about the males well being. With sex, sometimes came pain. It was inevitable. But he saw no reason that Micha ought to suffer for it. He smiled a little as Micha nodded and gave his response. They soon made it to the landing and into Samuel's bedroom. Setting the clothes in the hamper, he showed Micha over to the medicine cabinet. Inside he had a little bit of everything. Pain relievers, antacids, aspirin, vitamins, and eye drops. "Is Bayer alright with you? I've got some Aleve if you would prefer that instead." he said, glancing towards the male.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Making their way into Samuel's bedroom, he walked towards the bathroom and turned on the light. Micha stood looking over himself. He waited as Samuel soon joined him in the bathroom. Micha watched as Samuel opened his medicine cabinet. He saw a little bit of different things. Micha listened as Samuel spoke about what he had. "Yeah, Bayers fine." He replied as he leaned against the counter. If he still had pain hours from now he could take more pills. However with Aleve he'd have to wait twelve hours.

Making his way over to the cabinet, Samuel pulled out two pain options for Micha. It wasn't much but he supposed it would be better than aspirin or nothing. He'd never thought to ask Micha if he had a preference to medication. It just wasn't something that ever came into conversation. Hearing the males response, Samuel replace the Aleve back into the cabinet and opened the bottle of Bayer. He then poured out two pills into his palm before passing them off to Micha. Recapping the bottle, Samuel then reached behind the male and grabbed a paper cup from the small stack on the counter. He filled it with a bit of water before giving him that as well. "Here." he said softly. After giving Micha the medicine, Samuel busied himself with plugging the tub and adjusting the water temperature, soon leaving it to fill as got them both towels from the closet.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • True they hadn't talked about drugs, it wasn't exactly a topic they would talk about randomly. If anything, Micha usually self medicated in the past with me alcohol. However he wasn't much of a drinker anymore. It was one of the things he gave up when he left Samuel. He drank from time to time but not as bad as before or as bad as it had gotten.

Micha waited as he watched Samuel grab the bottle of Bayer and opened it. He took the two pills that were given to him. Micha popped them into his mouth while Samuel went about getting him a cup of water. He thanked him as he took the water. Micha took a sip as he swallowed his pills. He finished off the water as he tossed the cup into the trash.

Turning to glance at Samuel, he watched as he went about setting up the tub for a bath. Micha leaned against the counter. He found it amusing the way Samuel moved to around the room. Micha felt spoiled at times with the way Samuel took care of him. He never really had someone take care of him like Samuel did. It was weird at times but not enough to bother him. Micha wondered if Samuel had been like this with the other men he'd been with or just him.

Samuel couldn't help wanting to spoil the man. It was an odd habit he had with many of lovers. Though he wasn't sure he doted on them as much as he did with Micha. He couldn't exactly put it in to words why. It was a strange feeling, one where he wanted to constantly spoil him and show his affections for him. He was more than aware that Micha could take care of himself and still moments like this persisted.

After Samuel gave him the medicine and water, he busied himself by preparing the bath. He could feel the males eyes watching him as he flit about the room. Pulling the towels from the closet, Samuel set them aside on the counter as he moved back towards the male. "Something catch your eye?" he teased, slipping his hands over the males hips.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Micha hadn't meant to be staring. He merely got lost in thought. Micha watched as Samuel finished gathering towels from the closet and moved toward him, setting them on the counter. He remained leaning against the counter as Samuel came toward him. Micha heard Samuel as he questioned him. He felt his hands slide over his hips. Micha smiled at Samuel as he looked up at him. "Hmm, just thinking…" He replied as he slipped his hands up running them behind Samuel's neck. "Wondering how many other men you've spoiled and pampered like this?" Micha responded teasing Samuel though was curious.

He hardly cared if Micha stared. He'd be a hypocrite if he did, as he recalled being caught more than once staring back at Micha. Samuel stepped closer to the male as he teased him. He stared down at the male as his hands stretched up to loop around his neck. He smiled back as Micha mused a little before questioning him. Samuel didn't mind the question, though he was surprised that he would even want to know. He didn't think Micha cared that much about his past lovers. "Perhaps one or two of them...When I was young and dumb, and believed myself to be in love." he confessed. "I suppose you could say spoiling my partners, as you put it, is my love language." Samuel continued to hold on to the male as he spoke. Looking back, one way or another he did indeed like to spoil his lovers. He was sure some of them, like Micha, had found it annoying. It was a habit he was working on breaking, but it would likely be awhile before he fully got over it.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Leaning against the counter, he held Samuel. He looked up at Samuel as he held onto him. Micha couldn't help his curiosity. He knew it seemed odd he was asking however it was merely casual. Micha wasn't looking for details. He listened as Samuel explained his reasoning. Micha found it amusing. "Mm, well then, I can't stop you from doing it." He replied as he teased Samuel. Micha leaned up to kiss him. As much as Samuel's attention annoyed him sometimes, he couldn't change it. He was merely how Samuel was and it'd be strange for him to stop suddenly.

Spoiling or taking care of his partners was something that had always come by natural for him. He didn't know how or why he came this habit. Perhaps it was simply stemmed from a childhood of never having to go without. If someone wanted to eat out, they could do that. Want to buy a new outfit, they could do that too. There were always funds to spend so he saw no reason that he shouldn't share it with his lovers. After all, his parents bought each other gifts all the time. Though their gifts were far more expensive than diner food or take-out. He didn't care to recall if he'd ever bought his previous partners something obscenely expensive. It hardly mattered now that those relationships were gone and over. He wasn't looking for any sort of reimbursement.

As Samuel explained his odd habit, or at least tried to, he listened as the male went on to tease him again. "Not completely, but I'm working on it." he said as he laughed softly. Samuel closed his eyes as Micha leaned up to kiss him. He happily kissed him back as he held him in his arms. Samuel knew that Micha was independent and didn't need him hovering over him all of the time. It was one of the reasons things didn't work out before. He didn't want to be a bother and make Micha feel as though he was smothering him. So even though it went against his nature, he was trying to be a bit better.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Indeed he could take care of himself. He always had, however being with Samuel allowed him to understand what it was like to be loved. It irritated him but he knew it was because Samuel liked expressing himself and never had to want for anything. He knew Samuel would probably work on it. Micha just wanted to take things slow again, which is why they were keeping their routines for now. He didn't want to slide back into old habits.

Kissing Samuel, he listened as he spoke. Micha pulled back from the kiss. He nodded at Samuel's words. Micha understood why he did what he did. He merely after all this time wasn't used to it. In some parts he liked it and in others he didn't. "Good, thank you." Micha replied as he leaned up to kiss Samuel one last time before pulling away and releasing him.
