  (If I get any real description of the airship wrong, please forgive me. I couldn't get through FF VIII because of a fatal glitch on the first disc. crying ) Rikku smiled as she easily caught the keys tossed at her. She approached the sleek machine. The blonde imp then slid her slender fingers across the surface of Soho's hov-bike, feeling the engine purr, "It looks like you've been keeping this in really good shape. The engine sounds good." With that, Rikku slid into the seat and settled herself in. Experimentally, the Al Bhed engineer tested the petals, while still in 'hov-park' to ensure her command of the vehicle. Rikku gives Soho a thumbs up, and then fiddles with a control on her own wrist -- an Al Bhed uplink device to negotiate control between the device and the bay doors of Ragnarok using a current Avalanche code. Then, lithe blonde tapped her communicator to check that Soho could hear her, "Hey Soho, I'm gonna fly around Ragnarok to do an visual exterior check, before I go park this thing. Okay?"When she was sure he did hear her, the Al Bhed took off with the bike peeling out. Opening the throttle, Rikku drove around the grounds before slowing the bike down. Once she settled into a steady pace, the blonde drove the hov-bike around the airship -- taking a look at the engines, the hull and the weapon mounts. Finally, Rikku keyed her uplink to open the cargo bay doors. She then slowed the bike down to now carefully maneuver the bike to board the airship.

Cloud Strife "There's not a thing I don't cherish!"  "...Alright," Cloud said aloud, to everyone still in the mansion. "I think we've waited enough. Everyone in the strike team, come along. We're going now to destroy the ARK. We'll try to keep contact with our former allies to a minimum, as I'm sure you don't want to face any of them." He said "you," as if to imply that he would have no problems fighting them personally. Whether one believed that or not, he didn't care. They were traitors to the planet, and if they had no quarrels leaving all the people here to die, why should he care about their lives? "I'm not sure how we'll do that, but I'll think of a way on the way." He said, turning and motioning for the strike team members to follow him.
He would soon lead them out to the Ragnorok ship. Marth seemed quite amazed at the ship, due to him never seeing anything like that. His world didn't exactly have any airships, after all...
"This is amazing," he said, smiling. "It looks almost like a dragon. A massive dragon... and it will... allow us to ride it? I am unfamiliar with these sorts of things..." Obviously, he didn't know anything about machinery, so he assumed that it was some sort of living creature.  (( OoC: Sorry for the extremely late reply everyone. I have college so sometimes I have to kind of focus on that. Lol. ))

  Lissa   After things had settled in the city, Lissa had made her way back to the mansion, keeping completely silent about those events. No one needed to know, she just prayed to the gods the ones that were actually there, didn't say a word. God, how embarrassing it still was to think about what could have happened. "....I will come with the heals! " She wanted to help, but more so, she really wanted to pet that big red cat creature that was now following alongside of Cloud. It seemed she had no idea the beast actually could speak, so, when she did go to follow along the two, she looked at Cloud.. "What special kind of pet is this? " She asked him, thinking Nanaki there was just one of they're pets! "Is he friendly? " She could at least tell it was a male.Also following was Terra, naturally, though she didn't say anything for the moment.
Nanaki on the other hand, remained silent, while this kind of treatment sometimes bothered him, he could see the girl meant well, there was no way she would know. Part of him found it a little humorous, a talkative girl with Cloud may end in some sort of interesting scene. Mostly him getting irritated and having to flee from her.

"Hee,hee...." A tiny giggle sounded from a few feet behind the blue-haired young man, Marth. She wasn't trying to be rude, it was just rather cute how he didn't seem to understand the airship. "This big thing is an airship, just one giant, but completely awesome hunk of steel and metal. A machine to get around in the skies, and getting to your destinations a little faster. It is the best looking one I've seen yet. I'm not sure anything can ever beat the Ragnarok..From what I hear, this thing can reach into space..I've always wanted to see it myself, but no one ever wants to go.." She guessed the only way anyone would ever risk a mission like that, was if it was some fire emergency affecting space, otherwise, no one would ever go. "If you take the elevator up, that's the control room so I don't think you want to go there so much. To your right, the seating area is where you want to be if you want a good view of the world outside in flight..But, it's perfectly safe to walk around too if you want to do that too. " She thought she'd just give him a quick detail of the airship, seeing as he didn't know a thing about it. She wasn't at all trying to flirt, or 'spend time' with him. As much of a guy chaser Emma was, she knew her limits. Marth was one of them.
"Well, Hope that helps you find your way around some. Bye-bye! " Giving a small wave, Emma turned away and began to walk off. Apparently she wasn't going along with them.

Meanwhile, aboard the Ragnarok, a certain princess had just walked into the airship. Link may of thought she wasn't filled in on this mission, as far as she knew, he may even still think she was back at the hotsprings, asleep in that house. Zelda was far more smarter then some may of taken her for, and quite sneaky as well. After following the blond hero in green in secret by help of her trusty steed, she had managed to follow him here and, from the side, listened to the new dangers from the various members here of avalanche.Only two people of everyone here did she actually know, that being Unisha and her husband Jake. Finding herself a seat, the princess sat down at one of the front chairs, as she was instructed by her friend Unisha. It was her first time -ever- in such a thing, it even made her a little nervous. "You are sure this is a safe way of travel? " She asked her softly. "Very. Don't worry! It's very well armed, if anything tries to attack, it can definitely put them down. " How long it had been since she was last in this thing for a mission. Surely in that time, though, they had made even greater improvements to the airship.. "I pray this mission will succeed with..no casualties..It feels wrong, you may have to fight your friends. Will you be able to handle such a burden? " She asked her as Unisha took a seat next to her. The two would continue talking, as they waited for everyone else to board....

 Agrias Oaks Agrias boarded the sleek airship with Yuffie and Marth, smiling at the royal whispering conspiratorially, "Don't worry about it Your Grace, I'm still getting used to these airships as well. Well, time to get this gigantic chocobo moving. Oh Yuffie, speaking of chocobos -- I took the liberty to bring onboard half a dozen chocobos of fine stock with feed. I'll need to know who amongst us are skilled in chocobo riding like myself."Meanwhile, in the engine room, Rikku started going through pre-flight checks to make sure this bird was ready to fly. During the first steps the startup procedures, the main board suddenly lost power. Rikku's green swirled eyes stared at it in confusion. Two steps brought the Al Bhed engineer to the darkened panel. With a swift punch to the panel, it suddenly powered back up. Shaking her head and muttering under her breath, Rikku continued checking the gauges and then moved to double check the engines -- just in case there was actually something wrong with the engines and not just a minor malfunction in the panel display....

soko was below deck in the cargo bay doing last minute checks on inventory when Rikku began startup, as he started heading to the bridge to join her he got a weird feeling, walking up just as Rikku punched the panel"want me to check on that Rikku

With the mansion becoming rather empty, what with everyone leaving to go to the Ceberus base, Azura slipped inside, and instead of going to relax in the now empty sofa's, she went on to the massive and beautiful pool room. This was her relaxation, even if it wasn't the ocean! Stepping into the water, she walked down the steps until she could no longer touch bottom, before shifting to her mermaid form. It seemed she thought she was completely alone, so no one would mind if they didn't see what she was doing. Swimming in her fishy form might freak the others out, or even gross them out somehow.For her, it was just more comfortable.So in a way, it was like a small party with the pool all to her little self to enjoy.
Closing her eyes as she let herself float atop the water, it almost seemed as though she were asleep with how nice and comfy she was.....And knowing Azura....she probably did fall asleep!

Celina Leonhart   While Azura was enjoying herself, there was always someone there to take that bit of joy away from her in the end. "Oh, how disgusting! The pool is contaminated with mermaid scales...Who will ever want to swim in there now? The thought of it just sickens me.." Celina said suddenly, as she made her appearance a little more obvious by sitting up on the diving board she was so well hidden on, thanks to the shadow in the area. "Hee,hee...Should I tell the Avalanche leaders your swimming in their pool in that hideous form? "

"I see no problem with it. " Said...Phoenix, who just appeared as though she were there the entire time, sitting in the water just at the deep end in the little nook seating area within the pool. "And if Avalanche has any issues with it. I'll kick their @sses for being complete Imbeciles to one of there own. And if you open up your trap again I'll burn you. Got it? Good. Now shut the hell up. " Setting her arms over her lap, Phoenix continued to relax, up until Azura came over and started to hug her, which only ended in taking Phoenix down into the water gasping for breath! Azura's affection came at SUCH bad times! She seemed rather happy Phoenix was defending her......"A-Ah...Your drowning me!! " She gasped out, grabbing onto the ledge and pulling herself back to her little seating area in the water. "No need for hugs, were friends..right? I'll defend you against any idiot that shows their ugly faces.." She said with a smirk into Celina's direction, indicating she was clearly calling her ugly.Then, she turned her attention back to Azura. "Mermaids are to affectionate..you should do that to your boyfriend instead..heh.! " "...Well......there's a small problem with that....." She began, starting to sniffle. She was in a very...strange and sensitive mood today. ".....He doesn't know i'm a mermaid yet and i'm to afraid to tell him..! Y-You heard Celina....What if he has the same reaction...? What if he...can't stand me too...? " Her eyes began to wail up. This must have been bothering her forever, judging by how she was reacting... ".....Yeah, I'm definitely going to burn you later..." She added to Celina again, sighing heavily as she looked to her friend, Azura...This wasn't her field, but, hey, there was a first for everything... "...I may not know him well, but I really, REALLY doubt he will care. He seems to...nice..or whatever you want to call him. And if by chance he thought so badly of you, well, I'd have to teach him a lesson too..Maybe i'm not the best for advice, but I think you shouldn't hold anything in. Say what's on your mind, tell him the truth. Don't torture yourself by hiding something so silly..Just think of it this way, There are a lot of people who could only dream of being a mermaid...Sometimes I kind of maybe had those thoughts too! So much to explore...." Though in Azura's case, when she really thought about it, it must of been pretty lonely. That was likely the very reason she spent so much time on land..she had no one out there in the sea or a home to go to really...

Walking past the ones who were getting seated aboard the airship, Cloud overheard a question that wasn't at all directed at him, but he decided to answer anyway. "They aren't our friends. They're traitors. If they die its their own fault," When he got to the front of that particular area, he turned now, looking at Zelda. "If you've got a problem with that, you should stay here with your tights-wearing boyfriend." He said, before turning to the pilot. "Time to get this thing in motion. I think everyone's on board. I'll give you the coordinates to where we're going." He said as he began to discuss the plan with the pilot.
Marth nodded at Agrias' reassurance, and then the girl began to explain the concept to him. "...What...? That... I cannot even wrap my head around this." Marth was not exactly accustomed to technology. In his world, the most advanced form of travel was horses and carriages. "...El...elevator? I... perhaps I will just have to figure this out myself. My thanks, milady." So now he went to attempt to make it to the seating area, and once he did he would take his seat. This was... an odd experience to be sure. "This is actually capable of air travel? That sounds fascinating... and terrifying."
"First time, huh?" Ike asked, as he was seated near to Marth. Despite the worlds they hail from being very similar, Ike had been to many worlds, some of which had airships, so he was accustomed to them by now. "May want to hold on; this experience would throw off anyone. Even a Hero-King." He smiled slightly at that.
The smile was returned by the Hero-King, who nodded. "My thanks for the warning, Ike. Kings are nothing without the men who stand behind them. And the Radiant Heroes who aid them." These two had obviously met prior to coming to this world to know each other's titles. Hero-King and Radiant Hero were how they were referred to in their own worlds. (( OoC: ))
