Dart Fled Yeah.... of course I remember the old days of pink links and where stuff in flying boxes and chest where "teh awesome" better then the early RIGs since I never got into them all that much.
I miss the pink links. It made me feel like I was the luckiest b*****d in the world whenever I'd stumble across pink links back in the day. ;3; It'd be awesome if they brought that feature back. Makes me wonder why they removed it in the first place.

Who knows. Probably something about dropping 1000 gold at a time.
And they really wasn't all that rare to me. I remember getting two in one day, and five within 5. I blew it all on my suit haha. And it's lasted me all these years.

@Dart- Haha! xD Even then, I still felt like a lucky b*****d, moreso if I got a giftbox or a chest. Those were fun times. I still wish they brought it back though, even if they reduced the grant to some significantly low value, like... 50 gold or something. It'll make browsing the forums a lot fun-er.
@Hana- If it's any consolation, I didn't know pink links existed until much later? ;3; At first I thought the pink-ness was just an indicator that the thread was an announcement of some sort.

...but doesn't IE6 make a link pink if you've already clicked it that browsing sesson? Wouldn't that make the Gaia pink links confusing?

@hana: no, if you go to Google and search something, then click to go to the page, if you go back to the Google search results page the link you clicked will be purple, saying 'you've already been here, move along'

I worked the uber early shift today... and that means putting globs of icing onto donuts.

I think I'm gonna have to wash it out of my hair.
;_; I've even got red/white/blue stripes on my butt. And my right ear... and god only knows where else.
