Luciano slowly got to his feet, still waiting for Sabe to give them the heads up.
PostPosted: Thu Jun 24, 2010 9:08 pm

( I thought the anti-magic field was already down? The anti-magnet was the one that was still active. )

While waiting for the five minutes to be up, Sabe was fiddling around with the radio he had. He spotted a tracker and interceptor on the inside circuit board and wedged it out with his switchknife. He put the cover and battery back in and played with the frequency now that he was sure it wouldn't be recorded, and gave it a small test run while not being sure if it would be audible to the gang. He put it back on his belt after setting it to the frequency the rest of the group had. By then, the rest of the soldiers were given theoretically free roam of the place, and he thought it wise to take this opportunity to sneak around.

Finally able to enter the building, he carefully walked around. Sabe had to correct his posture and motions a few times to not stand out. About ten minutes later, he found his way into the hall containing the control room. Approaching the door, he heard Skotti's voice and nearly froze. Definitely didn't expect that. He backed into the wall, trying to decide whether or not to enter the room or to wait until the Blackhearts inside leave. There was a slight possibility that he would indeed be screwed.

(It is down in only a certain part, this will knock all of them out)
The Blacklight's eyes became alert as skotti looked at him. "What's wrong blacklight" he asked.
"they are here... I feel their fear... it's seems... very near..." he said to Skotti.
Skotti spoke to the shadow "prepare for them" he said as the Shadow vanished.

"That guy is taking to long...Clearly something has happened." Aly said leaning against a tree. She had gotten up from her meditation to find that Sabe hadn't returned.
She hadn't worried though. In till now. Sabe had gone beyond the normal number of Trojan horse cover. At least according to her books. Is it possible that something went wrong or that his hurt. Oh, Waffle is going to kill him if his not already 6 feet under and then revive him.

( Oh, I see. )

Waffle stared down at the ground, thinking over what everyone else said. "Give him a little longer. He isn't that stupid." she said. Something told her that while Sabe didn't specialize in any combat, he had some good traits that would come in handy for him...however few there were. He isn't all that bad. So far.

Sabe heard what went on behind the door. A small error on the part of one of the Blackhearts' senses gave him a confidence boost. What 'they' is he even talking about? he thought. He was still staring at the doorknob, although he wasn't actively thinking about it. More likely, it was his natural fear of running into a death trap pitted against the fear of letting everyone else down, especially Waffle. After a little while, he went down the hall and got out of earshot before getting out the radio again. "Testing...is this..." he spoke into the radio, asking if he had the correct frequency. He also didn't mask his voice so the group would recognize him easily.

The signal made its way back to the group, which for a while had radios silenced. Waffle nearly jumped out of her skin when Sabe's voice rang through the set of radios. "Sabe? Where the hell are you?! Are you alright?" she asked worriedly. She was hushed by Sabe. "Inside of the building, and I'm fine so far. Uh....Skotti and the others are in that control room down the hall from where I am. I was just outside of the door. They seem to already know we're here, so I'd be....careful." he said back, keeping a low voice as to not attract attention.

"Nice to hear he isn't dead though," Pen had been leaning against a tree, her back towards the building. Every so often she would turn to see if someone was coming but for the most part relied mostly on her hearing.

The whole situation was getting intense and she was getting more ticked. Mostly at herself.

So they know we are here, Pen was getting near the end of the use of the wheat stalk by now and tossed the last part on the ground. Well I wouldn't call anyone else Boss. So I'm not surprised that they prepared for us already.

Sabe shifted his eyes as he began to put the radio back on his belt. A guard was walking down the hall also, so he had to act natural. It would've worked if Waffle didn't buzz in. The guard was alarmed and set off an intruder alert. Feeling it was pretty much the end already, he thought it was a good idea to reach for the radio one more time.
Great...Just what I needed, Waffle.

"Guys... thanks to Waffle, now would be an excellent time to come in here and help me out."
he said into the radio as he ran down the halls to hide.

Aly's ears peeked at the alarms, her brow scrunch in worry. And then she heard Sabe, "Great...do we make a quick plan or just go in and try not to get too hurt or killed?"
As she asked she attempt to simple magical activate her wrist blades. However, it didn't work, sighing she manual flicked them down. That is it, when I get home I'm going to find a weakness in these anti-magical. Either that or I must find an alternative. I'm never going to be this powerless again...

"Head for the generator makes the most sense. If we stay in a pack then we should be ok." Pen refrained from retrieving another wheat stalk and brushed off her pants. Standing up again she looked to the rest of the group. Grimacing when getting to Luc. Looking back to the building she prepared herself. Her bladed knuckles unsheathed and out in front of her as she stared at the building.

"Better help Scarf Boy before its too late. Plus we have a meeting with the Boss." With that she headed out with the rest of the group.

Before Luciano could tell the group what his plan was, Pen had already chimed in. Luciano merely shrugged at Pen's plan. No longer really caring how she acted towards him, "I'm over it. Why aren't you?" he thought as he semi-limped to catch up with the group. So sick of conflict now, he didn't bother to fight Pen over her decisions.

Once getting to their precise location inside the building, Luciano had every one spread out; Michelle stayed ahead of him, keeping close just in case. Where Pen was, Luciano was no longer sure, and that was a problem. But he set those thoughts aside completely, and pulled forward with his gun drawn. Luciano gave silent orders to Koji to back up Michelle, then he looked over at Aly and told her to back up Pen and Shade. Luciano then told Waffle and Lana to stay close to him, and then he motioned for them to go ahead of him.

Pen turned on ear piece long before entering the building and had waited for the rest of group to catch up. All the time the white noise from the piece bothered her to no end. It gnawed at her as if hearing Luc's words again and again reminding her that she wasn't performing at par.

She was a hazard to the mission, she thought; even Sabe the scape goat the crybaby had better results. Why now when she had to be at her fullest her arms ached and her friends were being used as puppets.

Finding that Lila had joined her along with Aly was a relief, continuing through the chaos to find the generator.

Why am I so useless when I need to protect them. The white noise gave no answer as they ran about the halls.

Aly jogged along behind Pen and Lila, whom she had learn wasn't a girl in need of medication. She was just special...like the rest of us, she thought. I mean who in the right mind signs up for this job...wait, clearly people like me and the others. Quar'valsharess, qualla xxizz udossa.
Trying to contain her sigh, she decide to do something useful. Like look out for guards or Sabe, she preferred Sabe. But fate was probably going to give her guards.

Sabe was still running down the halls to avoid guards, not paying attention to the layout of the building. A short hallway was to his left, so he went down that way. There was only an air vent and a heavy locked door, much to his dismay. Regardless, he took out his switchblade and pried the cover off. He ducked into the cramped space and fitted the cover back on. The air vent went straight up and the walls of the vent were thin aluminum, making it impossible to climb. He just had to hang tight until either someone finds him or something forces him out of the vent.

Waffle kept her eyes peeled for Sabe as the group continuously ran into more guards. It was a good thing that the guards were just then on break. Several were unarmed even though some were well-prepared.

Upon reaching a fork in their path, Pen, believing there was no right or wrong way at this point, went jogging to the left hall. Not having a map or any intel on this part of the building it was a toss of a coin anyway.

However not getting to far down the hall the group, who she hoped followed, ran into a barricade of guards. All pointing their weapons at the incoming operatives, the highest rank took a step forward.

"Ha-," was he could manage before a was jumped kicked in the mouth. Pen was way pass irritable.

Sabe got a little frightened as he heard mass chaos ensue out in the hallways. He heard someone speak but get cut off by what sounded like a punch or a high kick. Sighing, he took his chances. "...Helllooooo~? Someone?" he asked into the nothingness of the vent. His voice was slightly amplified thanks to the hollow metal vent.
