"Student." Nami whispered back, wondering why she was talking so quietly. If anything, raising her voice might catch Fen's attention, maybe snap her out of whatever it was she was in...
"I was sent here by my family...and I was training...then they happened..." She gestured faintly to the sleeping twins. [ugh, I have to go for the night. I'll be on tomorrow. Night guys]

Fenris jumped and went pale as she heard another familiar voice, one she had sadly not heard in a long time. "N-Nyl...?" She stuttered, blinking a few times in surprise.
The GNA's famous phoenix and medic; and one Hell of a scary chick, as Reeve put it.
Fenris suddenly felt very, very dirty. She was not presentable enough to be in front of such a person. She was covered in dirt and dry blood after all. No one liked seeing that. At least the sleeping kitty boy beside her had healed her wounds. That was something to take into account... right?

"Yes. ...Wait. Fen?" Nyl took a few steps forward, but they were small ones. "...Are you okay?"

"Uh... er..." Fenris stepped back a bit, not really up for a Nyl investigation at the time. She was really sharp and persistent. Once she noticed something, she'd go at it until the end, wither she got the information from the target, or from a witness.
"N-Nothing... just... a rough... trip home?" She stuttered with a half grin. She went to step back again, but found herself tripping over her own feet and lands flat on her butt. "Tch!"

Whether Fen knew it or not, Nyl had changed quite a bit in the past several months. It had been, literally and metaphorically, something of a kick in the head, but for now it was nice to just be there.
"You might want to go and take a bath, then, hmm?" she asked with a smile. "...And who is that, there?" with a nod to what Nyl knew was Fujiwara. Or something very similar to Fujiwara.

"I-It's Fuji!" Fenris said, absolutely confused now. Something was different about Nyl. This wasn't her. She cared, but not in the usual manner.
She must be a fake then! It was some spy from the Seven Sins in disguise! Nyl must still be away then.
Fenris got to her feet and backed away quickly. "I'm not going back with you." She stated suddenly, her eyes turning to anger. "You're not Nyl Phairen, not the Nyl I know. Stop disguising yourself!"

Nyl took a step back at that, using every effort to keep from looking totally shocked.
"Fen...what? I don't want you to go anywhere with me!" She looked down at herself, frowning. Yes, the coat was new. It was a gift. But that was all, really. "I'm the only Nyl I know of. I can prove it to you, if you want. Just tell me how."

"H-How...?" Fenris' expression turned to bewilderment for a moment before switching back to fury. This could not be Nyl...
"No! This is all some trick! You're lying! Get out of here!" Fenris said in a sudden outburst. She moved over beside Fujiwara protectively, glaring at Nyl.
"I will not let the Seven Sins disrupt my home any longer!"

"The seven what?" Nyl's frown deepened with concern. "Fen, what happened?" She stepped forward again, holding out both hands, palm up, to show she meant nothing aggressive. "Are you sure you're all right?"

"Leave me alone!" Fenris said as she stumbled back suddenly when Nyl moved forward. "Y-You already know... you're one of them! I know it!"
she was completely out of it by this point as her body started shaking again. She was expecting something; something to happen that just wouldn't come.

Something terrible must have happened here in her absence, Nyl reasoned. To leave Fen like this...
"The only thing I am is me, Fen. I'm just Nyl. All I can offer is to let me prove it to you, however I can." Her eyes and voice were gentle, but serious. "You know I would never hurt you."
And she sat down there, where she was standing, and just waited. That, at least, she could always count on.

Fenris just stared at Nyl for a long moment as she slowly calmed down. She was just.. sitting there! This had to be another trick! But... but...
He hesitated, then slowly walked over to Nyl and fell to her knees in front of her. "I'm sorry..."

"You don't have anything to be sorry about." Nyl's voice was quieter now, because Fen was closer, but other than speaking and smiling gently, she didn't move. "I do wish you'd tell me what's going on here, though."
