Two things about HP..
-There is no way even pureblood wizarding families [coughWeasleyscough] know THAT little about Muggle life. Especially the "fellytone."
-How the hell are there only FIVE Gryffindor boys in Harry's year? That would give all of Hogwarts.. about 300 students.

It's interesting, because characters really seem to jump back and forth on how much they know, depending upon how convenient it is to the situation. Sometimes pureblood witches/wizards seem to know nothing, and then they turn around and know about something just to make an explanation easier. JKR does not win at consistency. I can't remember how many students JKR once said are in Hogwarts, but it never meshed with what we see. I mean... We've only ever heard about 3 Gryff girls in Harry's year, and 2 girls in Slytherin. WTF? I mean...Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw get so little mention that I wouldn't be surprised if we'd never heard about some of those students in Harry's year, but how have we never heard about it if there are other Gryffindor girls in Harry's year? I know Harry's a bit self-absorbed, but can he really fail to notice people he has nearly every class with for 5 years?

Now explain. 3nodding ... ninja Stream, Suyo, and Orlan made a great big deal about some site filled with gory illustrations and how traumatic it was. Such a great big deal that Aki and I were curious enough to look around said site. We thought it was rather funny. I think the boys are all great big weenies.
