The man looked back and saw the guy with the gun. "Kami...sama..." He stood up and held his hands up and of course backed off.
"Get in the car...I'll pay for the rims later." he snapped at the woman and she hopped in. The car started to limp along down the road on the flat tires. It appeared that they just wanted to get away from the man with the gun.
The car was soon out of sight and You could wait for the second vehicle that he heard above. It rounded the corner making its way down the hill. It was moving at a moderate speed. Not too fast, not too slow. Once the car was in sight, You could see that it was an older mazda sedan.

As with the previous car, You crept forward until he was just at the forest's edge... and fired two shots into the tires.
If the car accelerated, Ishihara was prepared to leap onto the hood if necessary. If it stopped... well... he'd see who was in the vehicle.
Silently the shark remained in the darkness, gun drawn, red eyes focused on the car and on nothing else.

The car skidded and ended up against a tree. No professional driver skills here. The door opened and out slid a little old lady. "Oh...Oh....my. What happened?" She hobbled around the back and looked at the tires. Then looked at the road. "Oh...no..."
She walked back to the car and pulled out her purse and then her phone. She looked at the phone then started dialing.

Cursing to himself, Ishihara disappeared back into the forest without making a sound. First a vacationing couple and now a damn little old lady! Which meant the sniper was probably back up the hill and he'd somehow missed him. Quick silent feet carried the shark up... up... up... until he picked up the sniper's vague trail and started following it back toward the onsen... praying he'd find something along the way to tell him to veer off the original trail.

As You headed up the trail he noticed that to the right just beyond a bush he could see other footprints he missed before heading down the hill towards the street he had just left.

Freezing where he was, Ishihara gripped his gun and just took a moment to assess what he knew. The couple and the old lady had passed by the very spot these new tracks lead... which meant that there was a slim chance that the sniper had been one of the three in disguise OR they had picked him up and he was hiding in the trunk. Then again... he could've also held a car up and had been sitting in the backseat, with the driver as a hostage... but that would be risky... Only a novice would do something that stupid. Instead of heading back, You stuck to the new path, racing down it at top speed.

As You ran down the hill he reached a spot. He could see the little old lady on the phone with someone not far from where he was. But then as he looked down, he saw tire track close to where the car the couple had been driving left from.
And well the tracks were around the car...close to the trunk then around to the drivers side again and then ended. The driver, had to be his....man!
But he seriously had to think about something, He had spent a bit of time waiting on the second car, waiting to see who came out of the second car and returning up the hill part way before racing back. Who knew how far that car had gotten by now or if the driver had stuck with it.

This just wasn't his day... at all.
Frustrated with himself for letting this happen to begin with, Ishihara pulled his phone out and dialed the driver back up the road.
"Drive down and pick me up further down the hill. NOW." he ordered, knowing that #2 would be able to take care of things if worst came to worst.
They needed someone alive... someone to question...
Pocketing his phone in his yukata, You shivered, seriously starting to freeze out in the snow. He couldn't feel his feet anymore either, which probably wasn't good... but he needed results.
Pushing the gun's safety on, he paused then dashed toward the woman. Without so much as a single word, Ishihara moved the old lady out of the way and... well... stole her car.
Both cars would be running on flats, and You knew the other car couldn't go too far before the flat burned up completely... and he doubted they wanted the car to catch on fire.
Gun in his lap, You called the driver again. He gave him details of the car he was in and that he wanted him to follow as soon as he caught up.

The driver picked up his phone and heard the orders. "Yes, sir. I'll be right there." he answered and leaped out of the SUV where the other men had told him to wait with Yamada-san.
The assistant to Shou hadn't woken yet but the medic of the group had just finished a quick examination revealing that the assistant had bumped his head also when he fell.
However, the driver didn't have time to deal with that and hurried out to the Prius and got in the car. Unfortunately with the cars corralled as they were, it took him a minute to wriggle the car around enough to get out of the tight space. He yelled out to the guard by the SUV and told him where he was going, just in case something were to happen.
Then, the Prius took off down the road as quickly as he could hoping to find Ishihara-san soon.
-----------
"GAH!!!!" the old woman screamed as she was pushed to the curb landing in the snow because she wasn't a steady old lady. Her phone went flying from her hands into the snow bank in front of her. "You Young man!! Hoodlum!" she threw her purse at You hitting him in the back as he scooted into her car.
The Mazda was a bit of a rats nest inside with a very disturbing old lady odor wafting out of the heater vents. You could see a pink fuzzy sweater on the other seat and some ointment for hemorrhoids along with pack of mint flavored cigarettes. The wheel cover was a bright pink hello kitty thing that was old and ratty. When You's foot touched the gas, he felt something stick to his shoe on the pedal. Was it gum??!

Ishihara grit his teeth and ignored everything as he sped down the hill as fast as the Mazda would go. He turned off the heater, thankfully, not because he didn't need the heat but because the car itself didn't need the extra heat. If he could keep it cool... he might last until he caught up with the other car. Minutes passed, and You thought he wasn't going to make it at all. He could hear the scraping as the rims bit into the snowy road, sending sparks up high enough to see out the driver's window. And then he saw it... the other car was stopped, bits of rubber from the tires left behind that were smoking and some even on fire. Ishihara stopped the car, grabbed his gun, and got out, using the open door for cover as he surveyed the scene.

Around the car it looked like there were signs of a struggle. The woman was face down on the ground and it looked like there was red blood on the ground around her. No sign of the man from that distance.
---------------
The wind had started to pick up and the driver in the Prius was working his way down the hill. He had no idea where the hell Ishihara-san was but he continued to drive searching for him. As he turned the corner he practically ran into the old lady, who was trying to flag him down in the street. And as he drove past as she hollered obscenities in his direction!

Carefully, Ishihara edged around the Mazda, red eyes gleaming in the darkness. He had turned the car off completely, giving himself more of the advantage without the headlights beaming.
First, he made it to the other car and turned it off, plunging the road into a barely moonlit landscape. He didn't bother with the woman... she wasn't his concern.
Eyes tempered with for this specific sort of purpose picked up the trail of the driver... and once again You gave chase, gun in hand.

I can no longer return to those days free of bloodshed These deep scars rooted within me will not disappear...
Frankly, it puzzled Jun how Shou simply hadn't heard that...but rather than doubt the blond, the raven-haired man questioned himself. Just what was going on in his world? Had he finally gone mad? Feeling Shou's warmth embracing him so suddenly caught him quite off guard, causing the man to stiffen in surprise. "S...Shou..." Jun whispered, not sure how to react. After a moment, his arms wrapped tight around the blond's waist. "You're right..." he finally said after a moment of reflection. "I should get some help...do something." Coming from Jun, this was a shocking admission. It hadn't been too long ago that his pride would have made him scoff at the very idea. "I'll take care of myself when all this blows over. For now...just let me look after you. Aishiteru. Aishiteru." he whispered, his lips gently kissing the side of Shou's neck as he practically purred under his beloved's touch. Hide it, Hide it Hide me...

As You found tracks and started down the trail after them, he saw firm foot prints go further in to the thicket and trees. They went in deeper and then started getting a little less firm and solid the further he went. Then suddenly, like before, they stopped. This time, as he looked up, he could see very low tree branches that had moved snow on them. Seemed like this time the man had used the trees close by to switch up his tracks. But You would have to find the new tracks to seek him out.
Back toward the road further away, he could also hear a car coming down the road and that car probably was the driver. The car sounded like it was pulling to a stop with the engine still running.
----------------------
The driver saw the two cars and a woman on the ground, he pulled over close to the couple's car fairly sure that this was where he needed to be. Getting out of the car, he walked over to look at the woman on the ground. As he got close to the woman, she rolled over smiling, the bag of fake blood she had used stuck to her chest from the cold of the snow as she fired two silenced shots into the driver. "Sorry, but we need your car because your friend out there is just a little persistent...and a little stupid."
As he fell, she scrambled to catch him to stop the sound so the Shark wouldn't hear it considering how far out he was. Then she scrambled to the Prius, and popped into the driver seat. Just as she sat down, her partner appeared out of the thicket after sending the Shark on another wild goose chase.
He hurried over and hopped into the passenger seat dragging the long range night scoped rifle from his back. "Get going and if he comes out of there, I'll take him out....The man's probably wondering which way I went" he snickered as he set down the rife gazing out to the forest with his night scope....
------------------------
The car drove off quickly. Good tires were just that....good for speed.

Ishihara had heard the car stop further back down the hill. Having found another trail that was nothing more than a damn trick again, the man crouched down and considered his options. Heading back to the car to give chase and set up a blockade further down the hill seemed like the best option right now. After all, Ishihara was half frozen and at this rate he'd be running around the woods all night long.
So he started back, gun drawn, dashing quickly through the trees... just as he heard tires squeal.
You stopped at the very edge of the forest and fired off two shots at the car.'s tires.. a car that he saw had a windshield now smeared with flecks of blood. Someone had been hurt because that hadn't been there before... and whoever was driving the Prius had been about to speed off.
Causing the third tire blowout of the evening, You ducked back behind a tree, red eyes peering out at the car to see what it did. It was then that he noticed the driver laying on the ********! I am not meant for running around like some damned wild man in the forest! You thought to himself, cursing the fact that he was used to chases within a city... not out in the boonies!
As the car raced past him, blown tires and rims sparking, Ishihara aimed carefully for the driver and popped off three more shots in rapid succession. They were armor piercing so they should go straight through the car and slam into whatever idiot had tried to steal a dead man's Prius.
