" baby say it...are they still alive? " she asked trying to jog his mind with more questions. she rubbed his shoulders.

Jake's mind searched all his past memories. "I don't know if they are alive or not..." His mind struggled. "My father was never really home, my mom was out a lot but she was there more than my dad." his mind searched deeper. His hands clutched the sheets in frustration. "My father was... unkind most of the time. Some days he would stay home.... those were when he was happy." He clenched his eyes shut in thought.

Mara nodded and yawned. She fell asleep in only a few minutes.

layla rubbed his chest.
"jake.shhhhh. relax...jake...snap out of it...come on baby..." she put her hands to his face cupping his cheeks. she leaned over him looking into his face.
"jake..baby come on....you have got to wake up and then ill see if they are alive or not." she shook him gently.

nick continued to rubb her. he let two ffingers slip into her gently. he moved them around inside her. making sure she wasn't in pain.

layla kissed him trembling slightly.
"you just kind of lashed out. your father...you aouwldn't bring yourself to say what he was..." she climbed up on him looking down at him she gently rubbed his back.
"jake.....you are part elf and part either demon or vampire.i want you to try....to bite me..."

layla looked at him worried.
"I don't want you to go back into a trans. in order to see what you are...I need you to bite me.." she bent down next to him and pulled her hair from her neck.
"please jake...try..." she said softly.

Jake sighed. He moved to her neck and opened his mouth. He bit her neck and barely drew blood. He pulled back. He didn't enjoy that. "I don't think I am a vampire"

she nodded looking at him. her hair returning.
"thank you for trying..." she said gently then hugged him.
"jake....if you are a demon or even part wouldn't your spirit be evil?" she asked rubbing her neck which had a drop of blood trickling down it.

"It never acted in an evil way before" Jake wondered about it now. His soul flew back into the room and back into Jake. "It's been leaving a lot lately."
