They are called Ganguro literally translated it means "Black Face" They are Asians that want to be black. They are also known to be very rude and solicit sex to buy more hideous clothes and makeup.

I'm gunna buy it on DVD. I may not like the plot, but the scenery is great. The trailer made me think I'm going to see this more then once and I'm not going to the theaters for that.

I think Tim Burton can be overrated at times, to be honest.
And Shutter Island seems... I don't know. A little odd.
