elvisnake This article pretty much sums up my feelings right now. http://www.cracked.com/blog/fox-can-eat-several-dicks/ Wow. That sounds like a very Palpatine-esque diabolism. I knew that the FOX execs were SOB's after they cancelled Firefly, but this is a new low.
I disagree with one point the writer made, though. FOX has released several good movies, and even distributed our own beloved franchise. It's not completely worthless, but their execs should still have to suffer the punishment he prescribed...

Yeah, Fox is within their every legal right, but it's just so damn underhanded.
The fact that they waited that long before saying, " Hey, you can't do that. " just says, " Hey, let's just let them spend all the time and resources on it, and then step in, that way we don't have to do that ourselves and still make the profits. "
And yeah, like the guy said, on a business perspective, that's a clever move. However, it's very unethical.
On top of that, Fox is basically gonna take all the credit for Warner's hard work.

You mean back in the days when children were losing limbs in huge processing machines without anyone batting an eye?

How Death Note should've gone...
L: Light, I know that you're Kira. There's simply no other person it could be. Everything we've been doing up until now has just been a ruse to humor your " assistance " in catching someone that doesn't match the same M.O. as the original... Which only you can match. However, I anticipated this encounter and thought ahead of every possible course of action you'd be likely to take, and I finally came to a conclusion. I've written your name on a page of the Death Note, but under a condition. The condition is you ever writing, or having someone else write in your place, any names in the Death Note. In other words, if you ever kill again, you yourself will die. Light: ... gonk Ryuk: HAHAHA! He pwnd your a** big time, Light!
