"You can just take them with you to your room." Nami said, seeing the girl's hesitancy.

She knew where she was taking her already. Her old room, vacated and ready for a new student. Gesturing for her to follow yet again, Nami led her up a few stairs and down a long hall. At the halfway point, she paused before a door and checked the handle. Unlocked.

Opening the door, she swung it inwards to display the standard room of a student at the dojo. A dresser, desk, bed and shelf space. There was a small closet hidden behind a door as well.

"You can stay in here. I just don't know where the key is."

She nodded, picked up her shoes, and followed. When they reached the room, she was a bit dismayed to see a bed, as opposed to a futon. She pulled her katana out from her straps and set it down, and set the bag down as well. She turned towards the girl and bowed, saying "Thank you so much for giving me a place to stay."

"Oh, it's no problem." She smiled, waving away the girl's thanks.

In her mind's eye she could see one of the twins stirring, chakra starting to rile up. She let out a breath. "I better run. One of the babies woke up but feel free to wander. You'll run into someone sooner than later and hopefully they'll make you a cup of tea. The tea here is delicious." She grinned and offered a small goodbye before turning and heading further down the hall and turning up another short flight of stairs.

She bowed again as the girl left. She turned and then began settling in to this room.

The firs thing she did was to sit on the floor, and practice what she referred to as "energy control" as a means to make herself feel more comfortable here. It had worked for her many times before, and assumed it would work here.

After about 10-15 minutes of this concentration, she began to unpack. While she may have brought alot of stuff for someone travelling through the forest, she hadn't brought even close to half of what she'd owned.

It made her a bit sad, though she hoped she might eventually get back to the Hyogo to gather up more of the stuff she'd put aside in storage. It still wouldn't be everything, but maybe it would be enough to make her satisfied.

But for now, she unpacked her things. When she was as satisfied as she could be, she sat down on the bed, and pulled out her konko. She'd save the exploring for another day.

( Holy cow! NAMI was here!? When everything dies, I guess the nearly forgotten come into play! How have you been, girly!? x3! )

( Also noting, since Zenrai has not been on in FOREVER... I am playing Fenris after her event with the Seven Sins even though me and him never finished our little thing. He's taking MONTHS! >3> )

In her hurry she clumsily created noises of crackling leaves and branches in the mess of the forest. She tripped, fell, and yet, even with a beaten and bloodied body she continued on. She was heading towards the only known haven she had; her home; shelter; a place full of so much emotional torture and stress; but a place where she could be safe. Even if she was not welcomed there, she was forced to.

She could see it in the distance, after having finally escaped the gruesome torture of the Seven Sins and having run all this way for hours upon hours... she had finally made it. A glint of hope came to her eyes as she began to slow her pace. Right as she reached the edge of the forest as stumbled, and finally came to a stop. Standing there, staring at her home, the Gaian Ninja Academy. Her heart sang and cried at the sight.

A grin came to her face as she looked to it, but soon, everything left her. Her knees wobbled and failed to support her, her arms refused to act to catch her, and her mind could not keep up with the rate of her decent as in second the once victorious figure in the night fell limp and frail to the earthy grass below.

Laying on the grass right next to her, staring at the night sky, the wanderer Kaimen awoke abruptly from his nap.

"ORA!"
he bellowed,

"WHAT THE HELL!?"

She could feel consciousness slipping away and coming back to her on and off from exhaustion. The cold and someones yelling seemed to keep her awake oddly enough. She found herself blinking spasmatically as she tried to look to whom it was. She could only see those ebony feet in sandals. Sandals... sandals... Kaimen...?
PostPosted: Fri Jun 06, 2008 10:20 pm

The grass around her body began to vibrate uncontrollably before wrapping around her and Kaimen, bringing them to their feet. Kaimen, noticing she was in almost no condition to stand threw Fen over his shoulder and walked into the the main dojo, kicking open the door and laying her limp body down on the couch.

"Long time no see." Kaimen said that as if he was speaking to the entire dojo itself, and not just Fen.

Fenris did not struggle against Kaimen, not as if she had a choice. Soon, her arms, legs, and torso began to pound as the adrenaline wore off. It allowed her to feel the pain from before to its full extent.

With a slight flinch on the couch she was soon set onto, she forced to crack a smile up at Kaimen. She found it harder than she thought it would have been, even to keep it up for a few seconds. Her head suddenly drooped as she started to slip off again before she came back to once more. "E-Eh..."
PostPosted: Fri Jun 06, 2008 10:31 pm

poking her vigorously in the stomach Kaimen screamed,

"THATS HOW I GET GREETED AFTER A HIATUS!?"

But he supposed it couldn't be helped. After leaving for long periods of time all he had left in the dojo was fighting, and beating most of the people here with no hope of love, what else was there to do for Kaimen? There were no new earth students, and anything else was transitory at best. He was more a liability waiting around than support. Only because he didn't feel like doing anything. And He hadn't gotten any in a really long time. Yeah. That too.

Just a little further...

Iri is flying over the forest, swiftly approaching the Academy. Her clothes and skin are dirty, her hair a mess, and the many weapons strapped or hung on her body are looking a little more worn. Three nearly empty water bottles are in her arms, each one looking beat-up, as thought they've been refilled many a time. The winged girl's violet eyes are half-lidded and dull, showing her exhaustion.

This has definitely been the hardest lesson yet. Nyl explains things so much better than Tutsumi. Or maybe I just don't get the concept like I thought I did? Ah well. Time for a breather and a bath.

The Academy seems to appear in one sudden break in the trees. Iri soars right past it, then turns and goes into a slow, spiraling descent. At the end of her spiral, she pulls up and closes her wings to make a quick, short drop to the ground. Weapons and water bottles clatter, clink, and thunk as her feet hit the ground. The noise doesn't stop as she makes her way to the front porch.

And then, there's a familiar voice screaming something about a hiatus. Iri quirks a brow. "Must be Kaimen."

Shrugging, she continues inside.

Fenris flinched as he poked her stomach, looking up at him again. She hesitated, then finally found herself able to speak. "Sorry..." She forced out, her voice seeming near completely gone. It burned to even just breath the throat was so dry, but to talk was Hell on Earth... nearly... maybe... Maybe it was just painful.

Kaimen had kind of blanked out.

"It's alright...you look f*cked anyway."

He didn't notice Iri come in, his mind was all over the place.

"Damn Memories."

Clenching a first one of the rafters in the ceiling exploded into wood chips before Kaimen used his chakra to put it back together again.
PostPosted: Fri Jun 06, 2008 11:03 pm

Fenris flinched at the sound of the wood shattering. She closed her eyes suddenly feeling very, very nauseous. Everything was slowly catching up to her, including the lack-there-of that was supposed to be in her stomach; meaning food. She swallowed her and held it back, honestly knowing she had not enough strength to roll over, and choking on her vomit did not sound very pleasant...

She finally got it back down for the moment and she watched the rafter above her rebuild itself. She smiled, then let out a soft chuckle. Same old Kaimen; same old sensei...

"I... didn't talk..." Fenris forced out as her voice went grim suddenly. Even under the winded lost voice, some emotion was noticeable. By this, she meant the fact that she had kept her mouth shut. She had not told any information on the Academy.

Iri looks at Fen and her condition. She watches as Kaimen destroys a rafter and promptly replaces it. At least, she assumes that was him, as he's the only person visible that she imagines can do that. This worries her. Why? Iri has always wondered about that man's mental stability, and she's not sure if he's the one to be taking care of an injured person.

Sighing in resignation, she sets her weapons and water bottles against a wall. Then she goes into the kitchen. There she gets a wash cloth, a bowl full of warm water, and a glass of ice water. She carries these things out into the main room and looks at the two. She doesn't think she's even been noticed yet.
