Glancing at his brother from the side of his eye, Tutsumi slowly shook his head and sighed.
"Otherwise, the light would be tainted and could end up backfiring on you. It's something you can only really use, without fear, if you're fighting for someone or for an honorable purpose. Not just to beat someone down."

Seph yawned, sitting up in bed. He stretched and rolled out of bed, showered, dressed, and walked into the main room.

Nami was curled up on a couch in the main room. She had an scroll unrolled in her hands, eyes intently scouring the page. Tsukiyo and Yuuyami were asleep in their carry-beds at her feet while a half-eaten plate of rice and a cup of tea was perched on the nearest table.
It was a hyuuga scroll. To anyone outside of the family it probably wouldn't have made much sense.
It detailed the lines of control, the differences between the main and the branch and what separated them. She needed to know everything she could incase Hiashi found out about the children and tried to claim them.
She and Clow had already gotten past the first hurdle that involved twins. One was always branded but if no one of the family other than the parents were present, there was no proof of who was born first and who would therefore be initiated as a main branch member.
Brow furrowed, her gaze moved further down the page.

Seph pocketed his hands and shook his head as he entered the main room. He glanced to Nami and smiled. She was reading a Hyuuga scroll. "Hey there, Mommy. What's up?"

Nami glanced up at the familiar voice, glad for the interruption. The complexity of the old clan laws were beginning to get to her. One could only read something for so long before taking a break.
"Being a mommy." She joked, grinning. Her foot moved to gently rock the closest child. "These scrolls are making my eyes cross."

He hopped over the back of the couch smoothly and sat down, nodding his head to the side. "Mmh. Clan law." He shook his head and leaned back. "Not exactly my cuppa tea."

"It wasn't mine either until I had them." She gestured. "I mean, my parents gave it to me when I was younger, so I could understand why there was so much controversy about me, but I figured they'd keep me safe. Now I'm the parent. How weird is that?" She shook her head.

He smiled. "The Hyuuga are pretty strict about their policies. Their rules about the main clan and the branch clan, what can and can't be said between the clans." Seph shook his head knowingly. "It's stressful."

"And it get complicated when you end up with twins, as I'm sure Neji can explain. Actually, I got a letter from Hinata the other day...wondering how everything was, how I was finding life in the GNA. It's almost as if they forget I've been here for over a year. But it's nice to know that they still think about me. As long as they don't think enough to actually visit, then I'm good. Otherwise I need to do some quick thinking."
She carefully rolled up the scroll and placed it between them. "But enough of that. I won't bore you with my drama. What have you been up to?"

"Oh, I doubt they'll ever visit. They know I'm here." He grinned, then put his hands behind his back. "Well, I've been sleeping a lot. Which is a pleasant change from my normal schedule.. if you could call not sleeping much 'normal.'"

"Ha, you underestimate them. They'd totally overlook a 'half-breed', forgive me, their words, not mine, for a chance to get their hands on a child that was the result of a Hyuuga and Uchiha union." She turned sideways, letting her head rest against the back of the couch while she examined Seph's face. He did look a little better than the last time she'd gotten a glimpse of him.
"Oh, not sleeping can be really normal. I think it's the actually making it through the night that isn't. You're one of the lucky few. Any reason in particular that you weren't sleeping?"

"Not this particular half-breed. I've had dealings with Neji in the past. And Hinata doesn't seem like the type of person that would steal away an infant from their mother. Even still, they're only Hyuuga. As long as you know how to protect your pressure points, you negate most of their attacks." He winked at her.
"Nightmares, sweats, sleepwalking. Nothing too serious, but it kept me up at night."

Lina listened slightly to Reeve and Tutsumi's conversation, but after she was sure she could stand she stood up and took her leave silently. She walked through the main room, seeing two others talking but continued on her way to the kitchen, deciding to make some tea.

"I think if it came down to it, Neji and Hinata would probably try to help me hide the fact that I had kids. Neji in some kind of bid to change the clan and Hinata...just because she's that kind of person." She shrugged, brow raising at the mention of nightmares.
"What kind of nightmares? Normal, run of the mill nightmares or ones that have you worried?"
