I smiled a little, mad that I couldn't see her, "It's the least I could do Rose, but please tell me you'll stay here and have the baby, no more excursions alone" I said almost pleading with her. "And if you need to go somewhere, I'll send someone with you" I said still concerned for her and the new baby, I hoped this blood would help

I followed Rose to Shadow's room, "He might be asleep, let me see if I can wake him up" I said as I tried to find his mind to peak into, 'Hey, Rose wants to talk to you' I said into his thoughts, I hadn't done that in a while, but at least I knew my practice had paid off

Rose went back adn shook her brother. "Shadow..wake up..." she hissed, biting him on the ear. She was in a much bteetr mood.

I followed her back to the dining room, "Sorry Shadow, we must have missed you" I said with a slight smile looking in his direction. "I'll be right back, I'm going to run into the kitchen" I said as I got up and made my way there. I wasn't sure what snacks were made today so I wanted to look for myself. I pulled open the refridgerator door and peered in finding the smell of chocolate behind me, as I turned around I must have moved too fast because I ran right into a servant, and the next thing I knew I was on the floor holding my head.

Rose hugged Sahdow, crying a bit. "Shaodw..we have to talk," she whispered "Kain and Luna were killed by hunters..and that hunter gave me another baby after he hurt me." She had sad eyes again as she sat down.

Shadow coughed to stop himself from cursing and bit down on his hand to stop anythign else from spewing out. Hunters... a wrod Shadow had not heard for a while and something he didn't have to deal with anymore. He had so many of his own problems and now this. His own sister was going to give birth to a half breed. Shadow stoped bitting his hand and let out a heavy sigh. "I am sorry for the loss Rose and the other news." Shadow said. Rose's timing couldn't have gotten worse for her state. He decided against speaking for now, the last thing she needed was to worry.

I stood up and helped up the servant I had knocked over, then grabbed the tray of cupcakes he was holding, "I'll take these" I said with a smile as I dusted myself off and took a bite of one of them. I opened the door and walked towards my spot back in the dining room, setting the tray in front of me, they were chocolate with black frosting and red sprinkles, 'one of my many favorites' I thought as I stopped suddenly, starting to choke on the peice that I had just bit into, I coughed for a second then drank some of the blood in a glass in front of me

'Here we go with the war again' Shadow thought. He didn't want to say it but he had to. "You remember me talking of that Lilith person, you know super old and completly insane vampire that founded the clans. Well she is alive and is trying to kill us all. We have made Aliances with the other clans so we can put up a decent fight, That is the short version of what is wrong." he said deliberatly leaving out the trouble he had with his wife leaving and the rift that had formed.
