Always jealous of your pets. Though my cats are always running up to me when I come home and they lay around and all over me as soon as I sit.
And woah it's weird to type and actually see the words all big. I feel paranoid like everyone can see what I am typing. xD
I would just say 'No' in a very firm voice to your ferret, take the foot away, and then cover it with something like socks or whatnot so she knows it's been put away and she is not to do that.
Damebunnyyyyyy. Whatchu gunna name the new bunny? XD Depends on the personality I guess. :3
Quiz today.... hope I don't do too bad. <333 please please please let me get an Order or Greek temple layout sheet, 5% and I'm feeling luckyyyyy

I still dont understand, didnt you get the phone so you could use it for nets on your computer? It seems like most the time you're just posting from the phone itself...

I'm gonna do it tonight after I pick Naz up from work. *Nuzzles all over Nny*
We got this perfect little albino bunny. Her name is Alice and no I don't care if it's cliche.
Problem is she's too young to be raped, and that's exactly what Dame wants to do with her. SO. We had to separate the bunny's portion of the cage for now until she's old enough and we've bought a hutch.
Then we plan on letting them make one litter since we'll have beau coup space for them in the next month and then we'll be getting Dame fixed.
She's super chill and sweet, though.

Woah wait, you guys will have to fix THOSE rabbits too, unless you plan on givin them away right away. Just be careful you dont.accidentally end up with tons of babies and no idea what to do with them. Rabbits do breed like... rabbits after all. You guys obviously know what you can.and cant do, i just love you guys and get anxious for you because I dont want you to have to feel sad like you have in the past. Just be.careful, okay?

Rabbits have a period of 10 weeks before sexual maturity (generally) and a month to two months after that before a female can become capable of pregnancy. I'll then determine the gender of the rabbits and we'll probably only keep two or three females, having them spayed one at a time upon reaching 6 months of age; this is only to prevent cancer, which female rabbits often get in their reproductive systems and urinary tract. Supposedly it makes them more agreeable, but frankly I think that's horse s**t, because I've had over a hundred rabbits in my lifetime and fixing them didn't change a ******** thing about their personality.
I think I've told you like a million times that I've bred rabbits in the past (mostly for pets, sometimes for show, and once for meat) and I took Sunday courses on it in my home town to get licensing (not actual legal licensing; it was like a ceremonial thing for kids) because I didn't want it with ducks and chickens.
When we first discussed having pets again, she said she wanted ferrets, and I said I wanted rabbits again. They're safely separated when in the cage (we've created a secure wall between them, with plastic netting above to ensure no high leaps) and can engage in supervised play when out; having had dozens upon dozens before, I'm pretty aware of their breeding habits, and it's not hard to intervene. =/ They're notoriously cheap and easy to care for (any person/book who claims otherwise is a holier-than-thou "oh, pet ownership is complicated" ********, because yes some pets require a wealth of knowledge, but rabbits are simpler than fish even) if you can recognize their body language and afford the $10 a month it costs to feed them, including hay and vitamins.
She's docile and has a good body shape for pregnancy; he's got the lopped ears and hefty tail I like in rabbits. Having a warren of rabbits is about an 8 to 10 year commitment; by the time they pass on, I'll have paid off my house. However the healthiest environment for rabbits is a family unit composed of related buns, and that's what I want. My dad's helped me build warren hutches before so in February when we breed them, lumber usually goes on sale in town and I'll be going with one of two designs for their set-up.
Mum will spend the month with her first litter, while papa is getting fixed, and by the end of February, when the hutch is ready, castrated Dame can join Alice and her female kits in the custom hutch all at once, on neutral grounds so there are no "this is my house, not yours" issues. Five months later we'll start fixing each female, one by one because I'm assuming we'll have between two and four kits, and I'll only be setting aside $100 of my taxes for said surgeries and do the others on my budgeted paychecks. We've shaken free of all the stupid bill s**t we'd been stuck in early this year and last year, thank ******** God. I've also grown up a lot (for example; just spending the $40 up front on flea products to rid the ferrets of fleas, whereas with those ******** kittens a couple years ago, we were clueless for weeks as to how to get rid of them.) And I make over $100 more a check now then I ever have.
I intend to get two more dogs next year, have my warren of rabbits, and settle. My goal is to have a kid the same year the house is paid off. And start over with a new warren. Probably to scar the kid to death as they watch five to eight pets die off when they're around eight or nine years old. biggrin

Ferrets keep getting these split nails, like I cut them often enough and they aren't long, but they will split and get caught on their blankets and things and it so stressful/horrible to see. Like Milo freaking out trying to disentangle his claw from his hanging blanket and s**t.
Milo has serious dreams/nightmares too. He chirps and like screams in his sleep sometimes, it's crazy.
And I did not know any of that bunny knowledge. Nooope. O: A gaggle of bunnies, lol, what is a group of bunnies called...

A warren. 3nodding It's also called a herd, a gathering, or a bundle.
Anita is so pissed at me, guys. She tries to dislodge their shelf to get our attention so she can get out, but I want to break the habit, so I scolded her and then didn't let her out to play. She's making a "-__-" face at me.
Ugh I keep getting into s**t with my co-workers, guys. It is so ******** annoying. xp I'm gonna re-apply at Wal-Mart and maybe take a break after we get into the new store. Or put in my transfer.. I love several of my co-workers, but it's not worth the drama sometimes. *full of hot air and will never quit*
