Luxran stood in place and fell to his knees as a knife was pushed into his back. "Crap." he said. "I let my guard down."

Shaydra had redrawn her eyes, enabling them with night vision; it was still very dark to her. Dimly she saw a swiftly moving shadow, which she identified as the vampire Josh had mentioned, stab Luxran in the back.
Another shadow behind her, this one of a dragon, had just run right past her with a fireball igniting on his shoulder. From his scent that rushed right past her nose, the running, burning dragon was Neoxis.
Shaydra acted as quick as she could. She sprinted over to Luxran and drew the dagger out of his back quickly, slapping a healing crystal onto the wound. Then she twisted around and threw her pencil at the vampire, who was running farther into the hallway. It missed by an inch as the vampire dived into a seperate hallway.
Remembering Neoxis, Shaydra turned toward him and shot a spell at him. A cage made of stars engulfed him, and he would not be able to escape or teleport out. Shaydra picked up her pencil, walked over to Neoxis, and doused him with some water she summoned.
"What are you doing here?" she demanded, shooting a look at the glimmering Universal Charm falling out of his pocket. "You're working for the shapeshifter mage."

the fire had long since dissappeared as Neoxis bent down and picked up the charm. He looked at the cage he was in, studying it for a second, and after a while in silence, Neoxis dispersed the cage saying "if we are going to talk about where my allegiances lie i would rather not feel like a prisoner." he walked over to a wall and leaned on it. "now, what do you want to know"

luxran stood up and knew that the dagger was not neoxis'. someone else was working for the shapeshifter, but who.

"Hey, give me my healing crystal," she said to Luxran. Then she turned to Neoxis. "Alright," she said. "Tell me who you work for, but how can we make sure you won't be lying like last time?" She looked around. "And this might just be a ruse, so you might just lunge at us, finish us off, and prance happily to the mage."

Luxran turned around and walked outside seeing a wound girl stumbling around. he ran over to the girl as she fell and caught her.

josh rushed out to the group, "hey where is the vampire?" Josh beared his vampire fangs, which were huge because he was also a dragon, "I know he is here but he is covering his scent"

Sigilos brushed Josh to one side with a wing as he walked into the room, he grabbed Neoxis by the throat, and pushed him backwards, lifting him until his body slammed into the wall he had been leaning on. The darkness took on a red light, Sigilos' eyes where a deep crimson, light up from the inside by his anger and power.
*What are you doing here?! And why do you have the Charm?! Speak quickly, or I'll kill you now and take the Charm, and to hell with the consequences!*

Josh rushed over to Sigilos and held his shoulder "Calm down, no kill- wait actually killing him might bring out the vampire though"

Neoxis phased out of Sigilos' grip to appear leaning on a wall on the other side of the hall. "now, we are going to do this my way. I will let you know, I used to work for the shapeshifter as the only field worker there was. but now, I am not. As for whether I am friend or foe, i have this" He pulled out the charm but stopped abruptly. His eyes turned black, even where is was supposed to be white. Red and yellow spots began to appear and glow. They started swirling for a second or two then stopped. His eyes returned to normal as Neoxis let out a deep sigh. "I have one piece of good news and two pieces of bad news, which do you want to hear first?"

Luxran brushed the girls hair out of her eyes and she was unconcsious. "I need help over here." he yelled as the laid the girl on the ground. "Somebody, Hurry."
