Frowning Lan shrugged his shoulder as he lowered his head closing both eyes. the hound looked up at Lan and back to Sheldon wondering what he may do. Hearing the low growl Lan opened his eye enough to glare at the protective hound just to silence it as he slowly closed his eye once again.

"Sorry....Lan!" Sheldon said as he leaned in kissed Lan and sucked in and threw his head back quickly as he gaged.
"I got the poisin out of you!" Sheldon said as he frowned

Spitting Lan turned his head back to Sheldon "okay buddy don't kiss or poison me again." Lan wiped his mouth as he gaged for a few seconds seening the hound who stilled stared at him and Sheldon snort Lan gave a smile 'oh ha ha it all funny right now but wait till I turn you to kibbles and bits for the other." hearing the hound whine as it lowered its head back to the floor Lan raished his head up to Sakura and Sheldon.

Elfir was several miles away at this point, now climbing a rocky ledge to continue to take his curse with him. Things had to have gotten better for them by now. Exhausted, hungry, and in pain (aw, boo-hoo! What else is new?!), he slowly dragged his worn out body up the rocks, constantly searching for a crevice to support his hold. Something at the top kept catching his eye; what was it? It was... a light? Wincing as his injured leg bumped the rough stone, he crawled a bit further... Yes, it was a light, and....

Tears of joy began to grow in the corners of his eyes. They were all there, his former comrades, all waiting for him, bathed in a warm glow. "Elfir... We're here to take you home...", one said; Elfir recogninzed him as a fellow officer; yes, it was Thade, the master with daggers, an angel of death, if it ever came down to that. Thade knelt and extended his hand towards Elfir. In an delerious excitement, he began to climb hastily; he was almost home, he could finally leave this cruel world and take this blasted curse with him.... Then, a rock came loose from under his hand; he was falling, falling, no, no! His friends; they were vanishing!! "NO! Come back!! Please- I don't want to be left alone! PLEASE!! COME BACK!!" He was frantic now; he had been so close and now- Any thought that might have come after that vanished as his head struck a rock and he hit the loamy soil and dead leaves below in an unconsious heap.

She sat up, Her ears perking up. Her ears swiveled slightly as she slipped out of the bed. Crawling out of the window that Lan pointed out, she stood up, listening intently towards the forest. "Elfir?" She jumped onto a tree, running as fast as she could. She arrived at a rocky ledge, with Elfir at the bottom! Picking him up gently, she moved him over to a mossy area. Going a few feet away, she picked up some Plants that would be nutritious and not poisonous, then walked back over to where she had laid Elfir down. Kneeling next to him, she looked at his head. There was a nasty bruise on his temple, she healed it, but he had yet to Wake. " Come on Elfir, Don't give up on me." She leaned down and kissed his forehead, before retrieving some spring water from a creek not far away.

"ummmm...Lan this is awkward we are both in the bed without Sakura!" Sheldon said making a face.

As Lan slowly opened his eyes he looked over at Sheldon "yea I know what you mean." Raising himself up from the bed only having three hours of sleep the young man looked over to the covered window seening the sun was still out. Sitting on the side of the bed Lan whistled for his two hounds and pointed to his hat that was sitting on the arm of the sofa. Watching as one hound came to him and the other brought him his hat. Lan patted both hounds sides as he grabbed his hat and placed it on his head pulling it low enough to cover his eyes.
